The technician was prompt and very courteous which we expected as Energy Systems had installed this very high performance Carrier system in 2007. The level of service from Energy systems and reasonable price made them an easy choice.

The whole experience was pleasant and was done in short order.

We had Energy Service out to investigate why our furnace would not light. I showed the technician to the furnace and he got right to work checking circuits and other parts of the furnace. He concluded that some minor water damage to the circuit board is causing the furnace not to fire He pulled out a sheet and quoted us $1035 to replace the circuit board on top of the service call. I was floored by the quote and did not have them fix the item in question. Update: After talking with other companys, Energy Serv prices were higher but not unrealistic. I have upgraded their price portion of our review.

Horrible! Glad to find out early that you can not rely on this company

The sales call for an estimate went well: on-time, knowledgeble and personable. After several other companies gave estimates, I selected this company. The price was in the middle but the sales representative was more personable and appeared more knowledgeable. Of course I asked who pulled the permits, them or me, and I was assured they would. Installation crew arrived as promised and about an hour into the work I asked where the permits were. I was told they didn't pull permits and to call my sales rep if one was promised. Since we had text messaged that morning and the sales rep responded promptly, I was surprised when he didn't respond to my two text messages asking about the permits. To this day he has not acknowledged my request for the permit that never showed up. I'm hopeful the installers knew what they were doing but I'm concerned that without the village inspector signing off on the project, there might have been short cuts taken or that something unsafe might have been done or installed. I really wanted, and asked for, the permit so that there would be accountability for the work performed. As it stands, I don't have that. I do have a new AC and Heating system that appears to be working fine. However, I don't know for sure and the service men that installed the new units, though professional and apparently knowledgable, weren't held for accountability by the village inspecters. A second set of eyes from an unbiased professional would have given me greater peace of mind.

Brian called me the morning after I inquired on angies list he was very nice and professional. He came by the house took a look and presented different options to me. He answered all of my questions. A big purchase like this can be overwhelming but they were great. I highly recommend this company

Excellent service. A little confusion on the time he was supposed to come to install it but didn't matter over all. Scott, the installer, did an excellent job describing how the system worked, maintenance etc. Only item I was a little surprised about was that the system was a furnace-discharge-to-suction draft rather than a system with a built in fan/motor. I didn't even know such systems existed, so I do not know how it will work compared to the ones with the fans built in. (Hopefully better than the one I had which didn't work!). In any event, I suspect these systems are cheaper. Hopefully they are more reliable and I don't lose too much air flow through this bypass. So I guess my one minor complaint was that this wasn't explained in the description for this Angies List special.

They did a great job. They were very professional and available. They quickly came out and responded. They quickly made a date even though we had terrible heat. I would recommend them highly.

I received a call at 8am telling me the technician was on his way. He arrived promptly, explained what he was going to do and went to work. THe service took 1.25 hours and was very thorough and professional. He explained exactly what was done and replaced a bad party. Energy services was very easy to work with when I had to change my appointment. I will use them for future ac and heating needs.

My A/C wasn't working. When I called, the receptionist had me try some things first before scheduling a service call and told me to call back in a couple of hours if her suggestions didn't fix the problem. It didn't, so we schedule an appointment. Jeff came on time the next day. He was courteous, professional and, best of all, educated me about my A/C system. He pointed out a couple of things I wasn't aware of (such as dampers on the duct work in the basement and a trick with the A/C switch on the circuit breaker) that got the A/C working great. He charged me just for a service call.

They were excellent. It was a top of the line system. The sales guy was extremely knowledgeable. We talked about 15 different companies. He was able to explain the mechanics and what would suit our home the best. He did measurements and helped us choose the right size system. He took the time to measure, calculate and find exactly what our needs would be. Other people just came in and asked for the square feet area and kind of said what we would need. We were very knowledgeable too about what we were looking at. They were excellent. They came out and did what they said they would do and when they said they would do it. They got us some rebates. Their price was probably 20% less compared to other bids that we got.

Prompt and polite service! Did a very good job at explaining what was wrong, what needed to be fixed, and how they would complete the job. Their follow-up was excellent. I highly recommend this company.
