The tech found a crack in the heat exchanger, this cost me $500 more dollars but they did find a problem.

did a very nice job of cleaning , I was pleased with that .. claimed a part was losing its effectiveness .. replaced part | for approx. $70 .. I later learned the part costs $7 .. they are entitled to a fair markup for inventory , profit etc however in this case it seemed excessive to me but I am not an industry expert..so the "big deal" wasn't such a "big deal" ,,,,at least for me it wasn't.. a potential customer may want to ask "how many calls require an additional charge vs how many calls only require the cleaning service" before signing up...

didn't really fix the problem. The rep worked hard and was a gentleman and will get better with experience.

Good service deserves a good review. Chris performed a cleaning and tune-up for my gas furnace. He was very polite and pleasant to work with. He answered all my questions very patiently and gave some very good technical explanations. Didn't push at all for new products or services, which is a sign of professionalism. He recommended capacitor replacement in near future, for which he quoted $71. I thought it was too high for a part that costs less than $20 and is as simple as changing a light bulb for someone working in this trade. I would have paid him about half of what he quoted but I also understand that $71 comes with a 1 year warranty so it probably includes cost of a potential revisit if the product failed. The company gave me a 12-3pm window for service when I scheduled. So had to stick around since noon. Chris came in at 2:45 and was done in about an hour. I will most likely use them again, probably next year when I shop around for new high efficiency furnace. Meanwhile, I am waiting for the company to respond to a quote for putting a return vent in my basement.

I called the night of 12/12 when I arrived home to no heat. I got a return call after I got the furnace working. When I told the person it was working for now he said that was good he had a lot of calls to make tonight. I called the following day to have him come over to fix it and never got a return call. He didn't seem like he was interested in my business.

I bought this over one month ago and this service has still not been performed, I sent them an e mail a few days ago and have not received a response. Cancel my purchase.

He suggested a replacement, and offered me their service-plan for a discount. I didn't feel comfortable with the tech's knowledge (couldn't identify how old the furnace was, and when asked 'how does it look overall?' kind of waffled), so opted to replace the capacitor myself, which only cost me $13 instead of $79. I understand that not all people will be able to do some repairs themselves, so I'm sure he would have been capable to do the repairs, although it was somewhat expensive. The cleaning was great, and he was very professional overall.

Great communication, called ahead and actually showed up on time. Service Tech was professional, curteouse, put on footies to protect my floors and completed the job as planned.

The heater was in bad shape, but they got it working better.

I wanted this service done immediately upon paying for it, but I wasn't contacted. When we finally talked, Kevin set a date almost 4 weeks away. They missed their own timeframe that day so I requested a refund. Kevin then sent Scott to my home within an hour for the service. Kevin must be their best serviceman as he did a bang up job in explaining what he was doing while he was doing more than I expected by fixing our humidifier and replacing that filter and the furnace filter for me (my filters, not theirs.) In short, they could use some improvement in customer service, scheduling and communication, but they do a very good job on the scene. Scott was impressive in performance and signed me up for their A/C service in the Spring. It was worth the wait for this bargain. I reccomend 'Energy Services'.

Great! I had no heat as my furnace and finally stopped working. Greg was prompt in stopping by for an estimate, we made an appointment, Jeff appeared prompt and I had an energy-efficient carrier furnace 5 hours later!

Per promotion: Energy Services came (late) to perform seasonal check for heating. They asked and I paid extra for their replacing humidifier filter. In checking furnace, there was a part that registered low in efficiency. It was suggested and I paid to have that part replaced. They offered a discount if I signed an annual service contract. From previous HVAC experience, I thought this company is pricey! I intend to keep looking.

Fall furnace checkup. Replaced a condenser on the blower unit. Also signed up for Spring AC checkup by taking advantage of a Angie's List special offered to me by the worker.

He did a thorough job in cleaning the furnace and found that the ignitor was too old. He recommended the ignitor to be replaced. He was very professional and explained everything clearly. I will be happy with the service, even though I thought the price of ignitor replacement was a bit high.

This is a tale of two visits. The first visit was for an Angie's List Big Deal routine furnace cleaning & tune-up, which went as expected and all was fine. However, five days later I had to call them back because the furnace had quit working; the diagnosis was failure of the main circuit board, an $800+ repair. I told the tech that I was suspicious that the previous service routine had something to do with the problem & that I was not happy. The tech then had me talk to his supervisor and, though they both doubted the previous service had caused the failure, the supervisor, thankfully, relented & authorized the tech to make the repair at no additional charge to me. So....all's well that ends well, but I would much rather have not had to go through the additional hassle & "negotiations". Since then, the furnace has been operating satisfactorily.

They came out very quickly on a Sunday to repair the leak and were corteous and accommodating on the phone. Pleasant to dealw ith in person as well.
