Wanted to replace our old loud furnace and air conditioner with new energy efficient models. This really started when we had another company come out and check out the furnace. Found out he the units were getting to the end if their life. Also our air conditioner need about 2 LB. of coolant. So after getting a few quotes, Energy Services was the the one that had the best sales/engineer to help ups sizing and figuring out which unit to go with. Our old units we over sized for our house which meant they kicked on a lot. One thing to note if you want to keep the parts and labor warranty for Energy Services to you will have to have them come out twice a year to service the units.

Initially I bought the $66 inspection, cleanup and tune-up plus 1 lb of refrigerant Angie Deal. When I contacted the provider to schedule an appointment and described my problem, I was told I needed to also book a service call for an additional $49 because my A/C wasn't functioning properly. Since I already bought the initial Deal and wanted someone to come quickly, I agreed to the additional charge although I thought it should be covered under the inspection portion of the Deal. The repair person arrived on time and called ahead to let me know he was on his way and his estimated time of arrival. I thought that was a nice customer service touch. Sometimes you only are given a 2-4 hour window of time and you're calling at the end of 4 hours wondering when someone is going to come. I brought him down to the furnace in the basement where he began his inspection / service call. He initially told me my blower capacitor was old (OEM still there after 18 years) and should be replaced as a precaution. It was going cost around $100 and he wanted to know right then and there if I wanted to replace it. I thought that was a little odd since he hadn't completed his overall inspection / service call. So I told him I'd like to wait until he completed all his work and we had a better understanding of my problem and what the overall cost might be. He added the 1 lb of refrigerant that was part of the Angie Deal but told me I was low a few more pounds and he could add more for around $100/lb. Since he couldn't tell me exactly how many additional pounds were needed (he estimated 2-4 lbs) and there was no guarantee additional refrigerant would solve my problem, I decided to roll the dice and just go with the 1 lb that was part of the Deal. As part of the inspection / service call, he did not try to find the source of the leak. To make a long story short, the 1 lb didn't work and I needed a new A/C. I decided to go with another Heating and A/C company that was recommended by a friend / neighbor with very positive customer feedback.

It went well and the guy was good. They were good and prompt. They came the next day.

It went very well. I called in the morning, upon hearing that my unit was not working at all, they were graciously enough to schedule a technician to come out the same day. It was pouring rain!! I was concerned that he would not be able to do any work. But he waited until we had a break and promptly did what he needed to do. The air came back on and it was gloriously cool! Thank You!

The experience was very positive. I purchased a deal through Angie's List for the cleaning and inspection at $59. The company called me right away to schedule, and we were able to set up an appointment for the following week. The service tech, Henry, arrived on time and was very professional. During his inspection he discovered that the three capacitors in our AC unit were either failed or not working properly. He replaced the three capacitors with two that would do the same job as the three and saved us some money that way.

Tech did a thorough check of all the connections associated with the central AC unit. Checked to see if we needed additional Puron. As it turned out, we didn't. Tech was very friendly and professional. I would definitely use this provider again.

The service went on time and really good. The service agent explained everything he did and also provide me knowledge about why he adjusted my air conditioner this way. Based on his explanation, I found out that I have been fooled by the company I used before and paid a lot extra than I need to pay. I like this company, they are honest, with skills and not trying to sell you anything that not needed.

Scheduled service and they scheduled same day in pm. Waited until 5pm and still no show. Called office and was told would be out next day but technician actually came about 30 minutes later so still met appointment commitment. Performed work to correct leak quickly and central air working fine since then.

I purchased a coupon on Angie's List for a $99 A/C clean and check, then called Energy Services to schedule my appointment. The office was very friendly and offered me several appointment options starting within one day. My appointment today was a window between 2-5 PM. Adam called me about 2:15 to say he was 15 minutes away. When he arrived, he was very friendly, asked about our system and then told me his order for checking the unit. I appreciated his use of foot booties while walking around our house. He checked the thermostat, then went to see the furnace. Adam answered my questions and gave me information while he checked all the functions. He then headed outside to check the A/C unit and made sure it was running properly, had enough coolant, and finished by thoroughly cleaning the unit with a hose that he brought along himself. He took care around my plants, which I also appreciated. It was great to see Adam had a tablet so he could enter all the information about our system right into the computer as he reviewed what he did and answered any other questions I had. I did inquire about the yearly service plan so Adam explained what was included and then called the office to see what the price would be to add the furnace clean and check onto my total bill. The additional charge was $59 for the fall furnace cleaning so I went ahead and paid for that today, as well. Adam was friendly, very knowledgeable, was happy to answer my questions and took time to explain what he was doing. He gave me the service contract information but did not make me feel pressured in any way to purchase additional services. I was very pleased with the service I received.

I purchased an Angie's List Deal for an air conditioner tune-up and refrigerant. The technician called to let me know his arrival time, and he was within the window given when I scheduled. He was very professional and clean. Apparently we have a 17 year old unit, but it's working fine and he didn't try to sell me on getting a new one - even though it wouldn't have surprised me if he tried. He cleaned it and left everything in good order. I would use this company again.

While we did not want to spend the money for the additional services the original Angie's list deal was honored and I was very happy with everything.

I'm not one for novels so I'll keep it simple. They were on time, had very good pricing, and sent a very knowledgeable technician who went out of his way to explain things in detail to me. The previous company I used was nice enough but nothing compared to this.

We didn't spend any more than the big deal cost. They basically didn't solve the problem and that was 66 dollars that I threw away. My interactions with the provider were pleasant enough. I thought that the inspection was fairly course.

The entire experience was exceptional. The technicians and sales staff were very very thorough, patient, and showed me everything that they were doing every step of the way. I paid a premium price for them, but I feel that the peace of mind was well worth it.
