+ -1 moreJoe came out twice. First for the whole area to be cleaned. While we looked at the carpet just after he cleaned - and it looked good, some soiled areas wicked up after it dried. Joe came back out to work on a very small area (8'X4'). The second application did the deed. The carpet looks great...and it is about 21 years old!
Description of Work: We had the lower level carpet of our house - 1240 square feet - cleaned. Joe did a great job and we were very pleased. We had some areas we weren't sure would clean well and were pleasantly surprised with the result.

Description of Work: I had Joe clean carpets in my large finished basement (470 sq ft) 2 area rugs, 2 sets of stairs totaling 13 stairs, hallway (65 sq ft), living room and dining room (370 sq ft). There were some pet stains on most of the carpets from my cat's hair balls. I also had Joe apply a deodorizer to the basement carpet and a stain protector to the LR, DR, hall and one set of steps. I scheduled the appointment less than a week ago - Joe was easy to get in touch with. He confirmed the day prior and arrived on-time. Before he started we did a walk thru together to identify areas of concern as well as get the proper measurements to confirm the pricing. This man knows his stuff and works hard! My carpets which are 12+ years old look like new. My area rugs, which I had intended to replace are beautiful - the cleaning process really brought the vibrancy of the colors back. It took about 4-1/2 hours. He took the care to go back over the areas that had high traffic. Joe left me with a bottle of spot remover and instructed me in how to use it properly.

+ -1 moreClean It Rite has been cleaning my wall-to-wall carpets since I bought my home in Naperville almost 13 years ago. I continue to hire Joe for this job because he spends the time to get the tough spots out of the carpet and he always spends extra time on the traffic patterns too. Joe is always friendly and never tries to up-sell me additional things I don't want or need, however if you have kids or pets be sure to ask him about the really great spot remover that you can use in between cleanings. It works so much better than anything you can buy in stores!

+ -1 moreUsed protective cover for screen door: (Door open for hoses and electrical cords to pass through.) Used plastic corner guards to protect from scuff marks from cables and hoses. Used foam pads under furniture legs to protect carpet after cleaning. Excellent results! Cleaning was done in under three hours. Got 20% discount, bottle of "Home PRO Spotter" and advice on condition of carpet, tips on keeping it clean and removing spots. Difficult spots I couldn't get out were completely removed! We have our carpets cleaned year after year by this company.

He came out on a Saturday, called ahead before arrival, showed up when he said he would, and gave a thorough explanation of what he would do and what his expectations were for my old and gross cat urine-stained carpets. I was ready to have it all replaced but Clean It Rite was able to get almost all the odor out. The room is livable again!

Description of Work: my husband accidently spilled red Gatorade all over our new carpet stair runner and existing upstairs hallway and guest bedroom. it was a trail of red from top to bottom. since it happened at 6:00 am, I attempted to bloat stain on stairs and called Joe when he first opened in the am. He called me back immediately and come out that same afternoon as the hallway and bedroom stain was more resistant. Joe got most of it out on his first attempt; however, didn't see until next day when it dried that there was some remaining. I called joe and again he came out to our home and took out the remaining stain. when my husband returned from his business trip he was thankful that the stain was no longer visible. if Joe didn't get it out we would have had to replace 2 adjoining rooms and hallway of light greenish/gray carpet. Then he called a few days later and wanted to see how the carpet looked and could he help further. Then he cleaned bedroom and hallway and applied Scot guard.

+ -1 moreI contacted Joe via Angies List and he called me the same day. We discussed what I needed done and he gave me a ballpark figure being I did not know my exact measurements. I liked what he had to say and I was upfront stating I wanted someone who took pride with his work. I didn't want someone coming in and rushing through the job. We scheduled a cleaning. Joe called the night before my appointment to confirm everything. Joe was prompt and on time. He walked and measured the whole job before starting and gave me a firm price. Which was very close to the ballpark price. He made sure there were no surprises. Joe protected the wall corners and was extremely carefull with everything and took his time with the cleaning. We even had a small dog which he made sure did not escape through the open doors the whole time he was here. Joe will be my go to carpet guy from now on. He may be a bit more than some other carpet cleaners (not sure) but WELL worth it. I KNOW MY CARPETS ARE CLEAN! Highly recommended.

The equipment he uses is pretty quiet, which is important for my three year old, who hates loud vacuums let alone the typical steam cleaners. The carpet looks better than I thought it could.
