Build a new cedar deck
Description of Work: Nick was fantastic to work with. Very responsive, provided the beat options to choose from for the deck and did an amazing job. Couldn’t be happier with the final product and we already hired him again for another project. Highly recommend Nick and his crew!

Absolutely perfect!
Description of Work: Biango Construction completed a remodel of my master bath after my previous contractor left me with a complete disaster. Nick is extremely knowledgeable and has excellent workmanship. He's a great communicator and I knew up front exactly what we needed to do to make the necessary changes. He offers great ideas and we were able to extend the shower further for a large walk-in! He is always available when needed. Four years later, my master bath is still looking amazing! He also helped me select and installed beautiful crown molding in my downstairs family room and installed kitchen backsplash tiles. Couldn't be happier! Great quality of work! Looking forward to working with Biango Construction in the future!

Description of Work: Removed the 40 sq ft rear porch and replaced it with a 300 sq ft cedar deck. Removed the dining room window onto the deck and replaced it with a sliding patio door. We were very pleased with the work and how quickly Nick and his crew were able to complete the project. We would use Nick again if we have a future construction project.

The project went very well. There were some additional costs above the original bid, but all were explained clearly and were connected to the permit process or choices that I made. Nick connected me with subcontractors to help me make choices on fixtures to help keep the costs down. He was responsive when I had questions and in providing solutions to the small problems that come up during a renovation of the depth.

It went very well. I purchased a vanity at Lowe's brought it home and after unpacking it the doors were warped. Then I brought it back and exchanged it for a new one to experience the same frustration. From there I returned it for a refund. I talked to Nick Biango and he built a vanity and had his granite contractor install the top/sink to our specification. What a super looking vanity!
Description of Work: Nick built a custom bath vanity, a custom mudroom bench with closet, installed a trim package on main floor, along with sub contractors installing unfinished hardwood with staining. This is the 2nd time I have used him and am very happy with his work, craftsmanship, pricing, cleanliness, project completion date, and his workers.

We chose Biango after getting a referral from another Angies List company that was unavailable for the project, and getting quotes from a total of 3 companies. Nick had an approach that I agreed with and thought would work best for our space. His bid was more than one bid and less than the other. Our staircase was over 100 years old and was both cosmetically and physically in bad shape. Biango tore out the old staircase completely and rebuilt the staircase using mostly new materials along with reusing some old. There were a few bumps along the way, mostly unforeseen issues that arose, but were quickly addressed and remedied jointly. I desired a very well supported step and riser since the original construction did not hold up well, Biango appeased my request with nearly over the top support and reinforcement. I am a bit of a difficult client, as I have grown up around carpentry and building and have done quite a bit of work on my home myself. I asked lots of questions and always had an opinion - Nick was respectful of my opinion and knowledge and never got annoyed with my extreme involvement in the project. The only notable point of difficulty came with a subcontractor that came in to stain and finish the staircase. This issue I do not hold against Biango in rating- as they were brought in because Nick was dealing with a family emergency. Once Nick was available, he made sure the subs came back until the issue was rectified. I do wish we would've just waited for Nick to do the finishing himself, but completely understand his desire to finish the project.
Description of Work: Tear out and replace staircase. Used a combination of both new materials and reused from previous staircase. Stained and finished the treads and risers.

I first heard of Nick because my realtor said he had done some good work for some other clients. I eventually hired him to replace the built-in entertainment center in our newly purchased home that was built in 1989. The old built-in was brown, could not accomodate a large HDTV, and falling apart. I'm sure it was sweet in 1989 but it needed replacing. Enter Biango Construction. Right off the bat Nick was extremely responsive and aslo very personable. He's not one of those contractors that is impossible to get a hold of. You know which ones I'm talking about. It's almost as though they're avoiding you. Not Nick. He always answers his phone and never gives excuses. I don't think he was ever late for a meeting. Anyways, I immediately got a good vibe from him from our very first meeting. He has lots of ideas and gets very excited about the project. It's obvious that he loves what he does. Together, we hammered out a plan for what would be done and they got started quickly with tearing out the old built-in. Danny and Armando (nick's main crew) were very professional and punctual. They were very careful and always cleaned up at the end of the day. Nick was frequently there as well. The major parts of the built-in were built at Nick's shop with his own 2 hands then brought over and installed. During the building process, he would text or e-mail photos of the progress and ask us questions regarding how we would like to proceed (eg, do we want 2 shelves or 3, do you want a door here or leave it open, etc). If I had a concern, he would address it immediately. What struck me most is his nearly obsessive attention to detail. I once remarked to the crew how Nick seems kind of anal. "You have no idea" was the response. Needless to say, when someone is building a 23' long wall of built-ins in the main room of your new dream house, that was a very reassuring answer. To illustrate this, when it was nearly done, i mentioned that one of the drawers didn't close quite right. He came the following saturday by himself and worked on it for about 2 hours until he got it right. He's a perfectionist and it shows in the finished piece. Now when people come over, there are a lot of oohs and aahs regarding the built-in. Don't let his youthful appearance fool you. Hes been doing this a long time. He is a skilled artisan and he built this thing from scratch with his own two hands. If you need a custom built-in by a highly skilled, honest, personable, and responsive carpenter, I guarantee you can't go wrong with Nick Biango. Thank you Nick, Armando, and Danny!
Description of Work: They tore out the old rickety outdated built-in in the family room, disposed of it, and replaced it with a 23' long gorgeous white custom built-in for about 11k. This included LED lights on top of the built-in and over the dry bar/beverage center as well as a granite top above the beverage center. In addition to the built-in, they also did an overhaul of the family room (new hardwood floors, new fireplace, painting, etc at additional cost). Right now, they're working on the fireplace. So far so good.

They tore down our old deck and built us a beautiful large deck. They worked with the Village for all the permits and inspection. _x000D_|_x000D_|Nick is great to work with - came up with a neat design and even saved our 'hummingbird" vine. _x000D_|_x000D_|We will definitely be calling him for our remodeling projects. Had Nick back to create privacy screens for the deck. Once again, they were prompt and did a beautiful job.

I can't say enough about the quality of the work and the crew for Biango Construction. We purchased an older, dated home and wanted all the existing trim and doors replaced as well as refinishing the existing hardwood floors. Given our schedules the work had to be completed by a specific date. Originally the completion time was about 10 days but as a result of another project going over schedule, our project got compressed to about 6 days. Nick and his crew were great with understanding our schedule and still meeting the deadline. This also included a change in scope when we determined that we needed to demo the existing partially-finished basement and his crew was able to do that and all the originally scoped work by our deadline. As for the quality - I still am in awe of how great everything looks. It is evident the amount of pride Nick and his crew take in their work and they were all so professional and personable. They didn't just treat our home like a job-site but as if it were their own. There are additional projects that down the road we want done and we will definitely reach out to Nick on those.
Description of Work: Installation of all new trim - including baseboard, door & window casing, crown molding and chair rail. Also installed all new interior doors (including bi-folds); refinished hardwood floors including stairway; installed new stairway handrails and balusters; installed new mantle.

Nick and the rest of the crew at Biango Construction are top notch. Not only was the cost of my project fair, but every single aspect of the job was done in a professional manner. The quality of the work is second to none! It is very clear they take a lot of pride in the work they do and try very hard to make sure you will be a customer for life and it is no secret they have succeeded because of this. I am expecting another large project next spring and Biango Construction will be first on my list.

There are very few contractors I've worked with that get an A-grade across the board. Nick was professional, worked with our schedule, was patient and worked with us to achieve our vision (especially important with moldings, where there are so many options), and left our house as clean as when he arrived every day. The finished product is beautiful and will be appreciated for many years to come. Thank you!

Nick was professional during our entire experience. He was on time for every meeting/appointment and every day that he did work. He cleaned up every day so well that you would not have known that he had been there working. the work came in at budget. Nick was great about giving suggestions. Nick takes pride in his work and it shows in the final results. We are thrilled with the work and have already hired nick to do our master bath remodel.

The entire experience with Biango Construction was great. I found out about Biango Construction through a friend and called Nick. He was here the next day. I showed him our problems and the rest is history. They started in about 2 weeks of the initial visit due to his work load. We couldn't be more pleased. Would definitely had them again, in fact our neighbors hired them as well while they were here.
Description of Work: We had to replace some windows as well as all the window trim had to be replaced. Nick and his crew did an excellent job!! They were very professional, the quality of their work was great and they did an excellent job of cleaning up at the end of each day.

Biango Construction Over approximately an eight month. I had Biango Construction working with me on a complete remodeling/reconstructing job. The things that impressed me the very most regarding this company was there punctuality and cleanliness. It was important to me personally that when I select a contractor they would simply quote "show up". There was not a one time within a several months that this company was not prompt every day when expected. On completion of a day's work everything was in order. They cleaned up after themselves and never left my construction site in disarray. These were only just two small factors that made my experience with them very pleasant. I appreciated that they were very conscientious of my property along with doing an amazing job. It was a pleasure doing business with them and I would recommend them highly to anyone else who might be in need of a good quality construction company. That truly cares about doing a good job.
Description of Work: We contracted Biango Construction to do a complete remodeling of our home. We gutted the entire home. Once the job was complete we had two new full bathrooms a new kitchen , three bedrooms with walk-in custom closets. A completely new basement equipped with a new laundry room facility. We even found additional attic space therefore allowing us to raise all the ceilings from eight-foot to 20 feet in the entire first floor kitchen, living room and dining room areas. This also provided us with the space we needed to use the rest of the attic space to add a staircase and put in a loft office space. They installed all new doors, trim and crown molding and hardwood floors throughout the entire house. We added a new brick façade around the fireplace with a beautiful custom mantle. Their company was able to provide all these services.

Nick was very professional - spent considerable amount of time with us discussing our situation and how to best resolve. Work was performed over two days, and was done on-time and with high quality. Nick also arranged for the electrical and roofing work to be performed, which made getting the entire project done much easier on us. Would recommend to anyone needed deck repair - or carpentry work in general.
Description of Work: Repair of deck and steps from walk-out basement. Included retrofitting support beams to comply with local code, which required that the beams be raised after years of sagging. Complete re-build of stairs to basement. Other work was also required, which involved 2 other trades (roofer and electrical) - both of which were minor in scope.

This was the best experience I have ever had with a remodel. Nick is the owner and was at my house every day supervising and working on the remodel. He gave daily status reports. Nick is very knowledgeable and provided options when something in the the design layout would not work. If it resulted in an increase in the budget, price changes were discussed and approved before work was done. I knew where we were with the budget every step of the way. Nick is a professional and he does and requires his contractors to deliver quality work. Nick is well respected in the business. This brings with it access to the best contractors in the business. All pricing and billing was handled by Nick. He is Holmes on Homes on HGTV. He does it right. He protected and treated my home with respect. I was very impressed and thoroughly satisfied with the finished product. Even the village inspectors commented along the way he was doing a first rate quality job. When final inspection came the inspectors loved the finished product. I highly recommend Nick Biango of Biango Construction. If you want to have a Holmes on Homes working on your house then hire Nick. He is your man. As the owner he takes a personal interest in each of his customers and delivers to your satisfaction.
