We talked to 3 companies. Aquatech had the lowest upcharge for Saturday. They gave us a two hour window, we chose morning. The plumber showed up 10 minutes into the window and finished in under 2 hours. We have 2 adult children living with us so I had requested a 50 gallon water heater. The tech asked me if I was sure because we might be happy with a 40. Nice job, beautiful install.

The technician did not diagnose the problem even while talking with Rinaii and charged me $197.00 for the service call. Still no hot water. He offered to come back for a price of $550.00 to blow air through the system. After the appointment the office tried collecting another $150.00 since he went over the allotted time for the $197.00 charge. He neglected to tell the office that he was missing parts to his equipment and had to go out during the service call to buy the parts needed for his equipment. I hired a new competent plumber from Angies List who told me everything Aquatech had done to the Tankless water heater was done completely wrong when they originally installed the unit. Aquatech charged me last year for the descaling of the unit and the new plumber said there was no way it was cleaned because the valves were installed incorrectly and it was very dirty on the inside. He said most likely the descaling cleaned the pipes in the house, not in the unit. If you want to pay top dollar for poor service, call Aquatech. My recommendation is to find another plumber on Angie's list.

The technician that performed the work was Larry. He was very professional and explained the issue all the way through. We had a leak from a damaged shower arm pipe. He was able to pinpoint the root cause right way and get it fixed and helped explained the issue. They were able to come out due to the emergency a few hours after I had called. Great work!

I called Aqua Tech over the July 4th holiday weekend. Andrea immediately returned my call, which was a major bonus considering it was a holiday and i wasn't expecting a call back until the following work week. Andrea worked with her supplier to schedule the installation of a replacement hot water heater the next day, one day prior to July 4. Andrea's communication throughout my experience was exceptional; super responsive and helpful with regard to scheduling and pricing. Two plumbers, Nate and T.J., arrived to my home on July 3 to remove and replace my 75 gallon water heater. Both were very pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable regarding the new tank and piping in my utility room. They went out of their way to describe the unit and how everything worked. They were respectful of our home and took care to carefully move the old and new water heaters through the house. They completed the install efficiently. We are currently troubleshooting an issue regarding hot water, and Aqua Tech has continued to exhibit prompt and courteous responses to our questions which i expect will be resolved soon. Based on my experience to date, i would highly recommend Aqua Tech due to the professionalism of their employees, great communication and fairness of their pricing.

Andrea responded my call and schedule my service promptly. Teddy is professional and nice. He finished the rodding about 30 minutes and gave some tips to maintain. They honored $40 discount for Angie's list member, I paid $255. I was planning to replace the old garbage disposal at the same time. But they will charge $600 for the service. I checked online with the same disposal they offered, it's $150. Which means they charge $450 for labor. Then I decide to DIY. Got a new disposal from Lowe's, replace it in one hour. My salary rate couldn't be $450/hour. If you are not care about the cost or if your hourly rate is more than $300, then I recommend you try this professional company. Otherwise, .......

We called AquaTech Plumbing the night it occurred and we were immediately scheduled for the first appointment the next morning. Our tech, Nate arrived on time and was the ideal professional. He assessed the situation quickly, gave us options and got started right away. He even ran back and forth from the truck as we were billed based on the job and time. He did a great job, solved the problem and made sure everything was right. Thank you and we would definitely recommend them!

Fine for 2-3 weeks. Now clog is coming back despite expensive rotoring to street. I would have been okay with the price had the clog been removed for a year at least.

I guess it's fine now--I can't really get up there myself to see. I discovered afterward that the technician left a light on outside the attic (in the garage). I called to ask for someone to return the next time someone was in the area, but then never acknowledged my call and never returned. I finally asked a friend to climb up there and turn it off. If not for that I would have given them a higher mark.

Things went very well. The technician was professional, prompt and explained everything he was planning on doing. Any rodding is spendy but AquaTech was able to accommodate our needs and meet our urgent timeline.

Called the company around 10am inquiring about same day or tomorrow availability - was informed that they had an opening at 11am. Service tech was on time and professional - swapped out and installed within 35 minutes. Seamless and every smooth service call.

Late on Friday night we heard a loud boom and after investigating determined that one of our hot water heaters (9 yrs old) had exploded. We had quite a bit of water coming out but thankfully there is a drain near the tanks and no damage was done. We unplugged the units and turned off the water supply so we didn't need someone to come immediately so we waited until Saturday morning to call the company we had used in the past. They were not open on a Saturday so I turned to Angie's List to find a someone else nearby that could come the same day. After reviewing several, my husband called Aqua Tech since they were in town and had a $20 Deal for 15% off the installation of a water heater. They only had one in inventory but made an appointment for the early afternoon and were able to locate a second unit. The tech showed up on time, was friendly and efficient. He explained to my husband how to annually flush out the sediment from the tanks to extend their life. It was not an expense that I really wanted to make at this time but I was not in a position to shop around for the best price. The service we received made it worth every penny! I will use Aqua Tech again when I have a plumbing problem. They were great to work with!

The office person was nice and very reasonable. The plumber arrived within the service window. He called me with a reasonable plan. That's where things went wrong : he wanted to charge me $560 for the first hour of removing the toilet and rodding the line. Every 25 minutes after that would be $41 per 15 minutes. I am working out of town and the situation was taken advantage of. Obviously I wasn't going to pay that much for a simple plumbing task. These guys are con artists. Stay away !

Over $450 for 30 minutes of work. Overall the experience was not bad....they were able to complete the job the day after I called, they were on time, they did a good job, and were professional. The only problem was the price (as mentioned by others on this site). They wont give prices over the phone. I was told there is a $38 fee for them to come to the house and then they would give me a flat rate for the job. When I was told the price, I asked how long it would take and told it could be 30 minutes or two hours. It was only 30 minutes....which makes charging $450+ a ridiculous amount. I ended up hiring them only because we have small kids and were desperate to get our sink operational again and did not want to spend another couple of days trying o get another plumber out there.

Work completed in a timely manner and was well done.

I noticed my sink was clogged and after trying a plunger and taking apart the p-trap I found out that the clog was beyond that. I tried to use a snake and that didn't help either. So I finally gave up and called a plumber. This was my first time using Aquatech. They responded right when I called, took down my information and said that they would send someone out for 2-4pm. They called a couple hours later and asked if they could come at 1pm instead. I appreciated them for both calling ahead and coming earlier. They were very courteous and polite. T.J. showed up right when they said he would. I showed him the sink and told him what I had already done and he quickly diagnosed the problem and let me know the cost. He informed me that drain lines get clogged over time no matter what you do and need to be rodded every 15 years or so. He got to work right away and was finished in a half hour. He was very courteous, professional and informative. He left no mess and the drain works very well. Overall service was excellent and I would recommend to anyone who has plumbing needs.

I made an appointment for Aqua Tech to come out and unclog 1 toilet (I had used their company previously.). Unfortunately our second toilet decided to start leaking around the tank's bolts that same day. Jason from Aqua Tech came out and after reviewing both problems and crunching the numbers for repairs, he suggested replacing both of the old toilets with 1.6 gallon ones. We decided to do that as both toilets were about 35 years old. Jason was able to call around and find a particular sized toilet for the downstairs bathroom which needed a smaller size toilet. He went to the supplier to pick up the special sized one, then came back and installed both toilets. He also hauled away the old toilets so I didn't have to dispose of them. He did a great job and left everything spotless! I would use Aqua Tech again.

Just checked my kitchen faucet because I said it was leaking. He should have checked other leaks and the problem was in the pipe below the cabinet. And it is still leaking. Waste of money.

I called them for few plumbing and heating related job and it was a good experience to start with. I really wish that I could give them A but giving B only because of their unfair and unreasonable pricing policy. I called them to set up an appointment to connect the gas line and dewinterization of the property. It was very nice and pleasant experience and they set up an appointment. When asked about approximate/rough idea about the pricing, she told me she is not a plumber and cannot say anything about pricing. Plumber HAS TO SEE THE PROJECT PERSONALLY and he will give the price on site, before he starts the work (it would cost $67 cost for the visit though). I set up an appointment, plumber was very nice and professional guy. He came and told me that it would cost me $385 to connect the gas line of less than one feet..., $385 for a half an hour job....wow. And guess what, he had his invoice ready even before he got out of his van. Please note that when I asked for rough idea on pricing, I was told that PLUMBER HAS TO SEE THE PROJECT PERSONALLY BEFORE GIVING ANY PRICING INFO. I requested him to turn on the heating for that price and he agreed. Next week, I called them for changing a shutoff valve and they charged me $457 for that....(after requesting the gave me $40 discount though). Their pricing works out to be around $350+ per hour, which is way too high, at least for me. Again, I have no issue with service and professionalism but they can defiantly do better in terms of pricing, if they want repeat business and loyal customers.

The job ended up being too expensive. They were prompt, courteous, and thorough... I guess I just had no frame of reference on how expensive these things are!

Jason form Aquatech was Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Worked efficiently. Found the root cause quickly, gave me an accurate cost estimate and completed the work quickly. Alerted me to a possible mold problem caused by the leak and have me a referral to a service to fix it.

Update: I have changed (increased) my score for this company. One of the owners tried to call me several times but the calls went to a vm we rarely check, so they went unanswered. She followed up with a very detailed letter of apology and explained in detail the reasons (which were beyond their control) for our experience. Her responsiveness to follow up by voice mail and letter and her dedication to trying to explain the situation tells a lot about a company. I wish things turned out differently, but most of all wish the company and its owners well.

I really wish I could give them an A rating. Scot is very friendly and punctual. My jacuzzi tub had been leaking. He discovered one of the jets on my tub needed to be replaced and fixed it in 20 minutes. I was told to test in 24 hours and make sure that there are no more leaks. The next day, there were no leaks from the one jet he repaired, but I discovered a leak to another area. Followed up with him and said he would be back out to fix it. Almost a week had past and he called back, due to an injury, he won't be back working for another two weeks or so. Since the issues havn't been completly resolved, I rated a C for quality. So I have been trying to find another company to fix or will continue to wait.
