+ -1 moreI used them Once a couple of years ago for mice in attic which worked out fine. This year I had a problem hearing mice in the attic again. Tom came put poison in the attic. It sounded fine for a few weeks. Then it started up again louder. Their work is guaranteed for a year. Tom came out again and looked around the house and saw no point of entry, and told me to just let the poison work, that I would hear some noises until they ate the poison. Now it is 5 weeks later, the mouse noises are throughout the house. Not just in the attic. I have called twice this week. Monday I called and did not get a return call. Weds I called and reached someone on the phone whio said she would try to get him out the following day. I never heard back. It is now Saturday and the problem is even worse. Clearly I need to be working with someone else to solve this problem.

Description of Work: What are you going to do when you got critters living where they don't belong? | |Two years ago we had evidence of skunk living under our front stoop. Over the course of a month or so, tried all of the do-it-yourself remedies on the internet. Nothing worked. | |We wish that we would have called Animal Encounters immediately. Because that one skunk turned out to be a pregnant momma. Animal Encounters took care of momma and all 7 little critters. (I'm pretty sure that he took them to a nice farm out in the country to spend the rest of their lives.) | |When we saw evidence of the same critter this year, we didn't waste any time. We call Animal Encounters and they were out the next day with a trap. | |Animal Encounters was excellent. They are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. The only area for improvement is that it is sometimes hard to get them on the phone. My normal mode of communication is by voicemail. It's not really a big deal. I understand that it is just a small, husband and wife team. So, they do what they can. They always got my messages and responded. | |Other than that, they are a fantastic company to deal with. I would highly recommend them. | |AND... if you see evidence of critters, the sooner that you call the better. You don't want them having babies. |

+ -1 moreAnother provider was to be at my home to inspect how a racoon entered, and to resolve the problem. When they didn't arrive, I needed someone very quickly, as I couldn't have anyone do the work later that day. So, I contacted Animal Encounters. Stacy was very helpful in working out a time for Tom to come to my home, and Tom arrived within 90 minutes. He diagnosed the problem and recommended the fix within ten minutes. He set a trap, which trapped the racoon by the next morning. Tom and Stacy couldn't have been more helpful. I'll definitely use them again, if necessary.
Description of Work: After I was disappointed by another provider, who was unresponsive, I contacted Animal Encounters. Tom was at my home to inspect how a racoon entered it, and recommended a resolution, within 90 minutes.

+ -1 moreThey came out immediately and did an overview and also checked to see if there were any other animals. They set a trap and caught him under our deck. They then put bricks over the hole and when they were moved, they came back and caught a second raccoon. They even offer a three month guarantee. It was prompt and he did what he said he was going to do.
