Description of Work: Company cleaned central a/c and added up to 1 pound of freon if needed. I was not home when work was done. All was well with unit for a brief while and then the a/c stopped cooling the house. Had to schedule another service visit and chose to select another firm. Learned that over 20 pounds of freon had to be added. In all honesty not sure if two events were related. Want to give Air-rite the benefit of the doubt but wondered if they should have noticed the low pressure. A/C is about 15 years old. Second time I needed to add freon.

These were legit issues from wrong parts being installed (it was clear that the original parts weren't right). Air-rite honored their agreement and provided a repair estimate and performed the service. The workers were professional and courteous.

Description of Work: My husband and I moved into our new home in January 2012, and wanted to have the air conditioner system checked out. I saw a special on Angie's List for a $49.00 A/C Check-Up, so called the company and left a message to have someone call me back (this was on a Monday morning). No one had called me back by Tuesday afternoon, so I called again, this time reached a live receptionist, and she was able to schedule our appointment for the next morning, Wednesday. The service person arrived promptly at 10:00 AM, had me show him where our furnace/a-c system was in our basement, where he proceeded to show me what was working fine and what might give us some issues down the road (our system is 14 years old). I liked that he didn't push us to necessarily have to buy a new unit just them, rather just to make us aware of typically what fails first in a furnace/a-c system. We then went outside and he cleaned out our large a/c unit and he talked to me again about what looked to be in order with the unit, and what might fail down the road. The best part was as I was paying him the reasonable $49.00 fee, he even gave me a print-out of what he'd noted and what to be on the look-out for. He spent just under one hour at our home. He was polite and professional throughout. We would definitely call his company again if we need actual furnace-a-c service.

Description of Work: i bought the big deal for AC cleaning and tune. We were very satisfied with the person who came out to do the job. I think his name was Marco. He cleaned and checked the unit and explained to us what he was doing and answere all our questions.

Description of Work: The a/c man was business-like and quickly performed the maintenance inspection. He noticed my furnace filter (reusable) was dirty, so he washed it and replaced it with a temp. filter until the "real" one dried. I thought that very considerate. No complaints. The receipt provided detailed the work done. I will call him again, but this time ask a few more questions so as to receive a fuller report.

Description of Work: I called to have my air condition check it was found to be in good working order . With out a sells pitch for work that I didn't need. He did find that my drain system was tampered with a previous plumber. He corrected the problem and gave me some tips on how to take care of the unit
