Technician was friendly and profesional. Took his time and explained everything but did not try to sell us a whole bunch of other stuff/services. This is our second time using air-rite and we will use them again for our future heat and A/C needs

They did a great job. We have an older furnace and can't afford a new one right now, and he did an inspection and cleaning and told us what it needed to keep running. I truly appreciate the fact that he didn't try to sell us a new furnace right now and for that reason they will be who we call when we need a new one. Thanks again!

Purchased a new townhouse and the heat was not evenly distributing across the 3 floors. Tech came out, identified the promblem, moved my washer/dryer to get to the part of the furnace needed, and fixed it. Professional, and easy to work with. Highly reccomend.

Air-Rite did an AC clean and check for me in August, and they did a good job for a good price, so I purchased an Angie's List deal for a $69 furnace inspection and cleaning from them. The same techician, Terry Lyons, came out to do the job. Just like the last time, he was punctual, friendly, and thorough. He gave me some maintenance tips for getting the most life out of my older furnace and humidifier, and we talked about recommended replacement units for when they do need to be replaced.

I had to wait 24 hours to make the appointment after I bought the coupon. They gave me the 8am-12pm window for the service technician to arrive on 2/18 and Dan Pemble actually arrived a few minutes before 8am. Dan performed all of the services described above and explained to me everything he did, including showing me the reading for the carbon monoxide test. Dan was very friendly and courteous and even took his shoes off at the front door when he arrived. I would defintely use Air-Rite to clean and inspect my furnace next time and hopefully Dan Pemble will be the technician!

Well it took them several days before getting back to us. Longer than we thought it should have been. We decided to wait about the service and to shop around even though it was a good price and they were professional in thier email because if they are that slow to respond, how will they be with schedules, work, etc.

They showed up and did the work the as stated within the deal. We were happy with their service.

Leo, was the service man and he did a great job of checking everything for both the spring and fall HVAC service. He was very neat and punctual. I can not remember anyone else ever so thorough as he was in performing his work. A great job!

The worker that came over, Fred Hansford, was very nice. He found the problem immediately. He was just so polite, courteous and helpful. He is the nicest furnace man I have ever had!

I found this company on Angie's list coupons. They cleaned my furnace last fall. Last week the heat would not go on, so I called them. They came out in a reasonable time, and fixed the problem quickly. Now if I ever have a problem I will call them. I have used several companies in the past. So far this is the best service and price.

Air-Rite did a good job checking the HVAC system

The upper level AC unit was not working. The technician did an analysis and Identified the problem very quickly. His explanation of the problem was articulate and to the point so that the lay person could understand the issue and what needed to be done and at what cost.

We bought a Big Deal for a fall furnace tune up. Our cape cod style house was built in 1951 and had many temperature inconsistencies. While we knew that the tune-up didn't include a diagnosis process for the problem, we just wanted to get the ball rolling with somebody. The technician that came out for the tune-up was friendly enough, although he commented that we should buy a new furnace soon because of some minor rusting. His comment was something to the effect of 'I'd do it if were me because the rusting could get worse, carbon monoxide could be released, and you might go to sleep and never wake up.' This seemed a bit extreme, and since then, a different company told us that we still have life left in the furnace and don't need to replace it immediately. This technician also noticed that a small door in the furnace wasn't opening and closing properly, but his solution was to poke at it and said that it was fine. (The other company referred to previously offered to replace a part and fix the problem, which they did.) Next we set up an appointment to have our house analyzed for air flow issues and hot/cold spots. The technician was nice enough, but ultimately he said he needed to talk to his boss to figure out what to do. The technician and supervisor came to look at the house. The supervisor spent a lot of time going from room to room, adjusting vents in each room several times to get everything balanced. The supervisor explained to my husband what he was doing, which was very helpful. This helped to balance the temperature greatly. (Note that our house was barely insulated and has two dormers which are not insulateable, and therefore, there are cold spots that just can't be helped.) Last, the supervisor returned to our house and installed a damper on one of the ducts, because we had none. This did even more to help balance out the temperature in the house. We felt that the supervisor did a lot of good in our house, but that the other two technicians were just so-so. We also felt that the price was extremely reasonable, considering that it paid for more than one trip to our house.

The worked turned out just fine. No complaints at all.

I was not home when the technician came but my daughter was. She said he arrived on time, was very nice and did the work in about half an hour. My only concern was the company automatically made a payment on my charge card for the service. I have no problem with it except I wish that it had been made clear to me that that is what they were going to do. I would use them again.

I bought 2 coupons ($49 each) for cleaning 2 furnaces in our home. The coupons had expired, but the company was kind enough to honor them anyway. Phil (the technician) was here for about 1-1/2 hours. His knowledge of heating systems was impressive, particularly since anyone who has serviced our ac/furnaces in the past just wanted to sell us a new system. He did a wonderful job! Because of this experience, we will be contacting Air-rite to replace our smaller furnace in the very near future. Thanks for understanding how to treat your customers!
