We have used Air-Rite several times this past winter for our aging furnace and they have been fast, responsive and helpful each time. They have been able to come out within 24 hours, have been friendly and quick, explain what went wrong and what they need to fix. We belong to their "club" that provides a discount on services, as well as annual checks, and feel that it is well worth the cost.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was fine. He was efficient, on time and very nice. He was there within a couple of days after I purchased the deal. This company did what it said it would do and Marco was friendly. I think he was trying to sell me something I don't need and I did not like that.

Mike Hansen called me when he was on his way. We both arrived at the same time so I didn't have to take a half day off work to wait unknowingly for someone to show up. He was extremely professional, polite and patient. He was able to answer all of my questions and give some pointers on how to better care for my furnace. He went above and beyond what he needed to do. I would recommend both Mike and Air-Rite.

Nick was my tech. He called ten minutes before showing up to let me know he I was next and that he was coming. He arrived and went right to work. He serviced the furnace and was in and out. He was courteous and professional. I would use Air-Rite again.

Due to medical issues I had to postpone my appointment at least 4 Xs. They were very understanding. Terrence Lyons called me an hour before coming out, I knew they were coming in between 1-3 but being in a wheelchair I needed time to get ready. I had 2 Angie's list coupons, 1 for A/C and 1 for Furnace Maintenance. Terry greeted me, gave me his card and I pointed out where things were. I had asked him if he needed to remove the drain pan for the A/C if he could use a garbage bag I had to make sure the ramp that is smack next to the unit would not get wet. "No problem" He first replaced the batteries in the thermostat. He cleaned and check the furnace and A/C system. check filter, checked blower amperage, removed and cleaned burners and flushed condensate drain, cleaned condenser coil, check electrical connection, check refr. charge (which was fine). When he went outside to clean condenser coil - he asked me where the hose connection was. Half way into the cleaning, my lawncare people came, a day later then normal and there was this hose that I asked them to work around. Terry had been unaffected by their presence and ended up through before the lawncare was. He made sure to gather all his equipment before he went outside to work. I wouldn't even know that he was inside. Used slippers so no dirt on my white carpeting. Had a wonderful attitude and you could tell he enjoyed his job. Air-rite, I was impressed.

We actually needed service on our A/C not furnace. They came out and found exactly what was wrong with the unit, cleaned both A/C units. Technician was professional, efficient, and communicated with me every step of the way. Very pleased.

The tech arrived on time. Cleaned furnance- took his time and noticed that my humidifier was leaking. He fixed that and replaced the filter. He called and found out that the humidifier was under warranty so it greatly reduced cost to me at the time he did the work. I was very impressed with his willingness to help me out.

Simple AC checkup and service.

The serviceman was prompt, courteous and efficient. He explained what he was doing and gave a price prior to work performed. Generally, we were very pleased with the service, the information provided, and the professionalism of the serviceman.

They did what we expected. The service was good and they came on time. They didn't leave a mess and we were pleased with the work.

Everything went fine, however they are quite expensive in comparison of some other Heating and Air Conditioning Services. I think I'll be looking for someone else.

I purchased an Angie’s List Big Deal for this service and it was great; they did a good job. They came out within a couple of days after I bought the Big Deal. They did a really good job and gave me a lot of information that I did not know about my system.

I had a lukewarm experience on it so I won't rate them low and I won't rate them high either. This was all experienced by my house manager who relayed this information to me because I wasn't in town. There was a little inability to control the actual temperature for my heating unit, so we used Air-Rite and the contractor came in and the main service that was needed was a tuneup a cleaning and the filter change, because that was what was mainly causing the fluctuation. He went and made a change of the actual motor. He said that the motor was looking like it was going to have fail. It didn't fail but it looked like it was going to fail within a year. So I was a little skeptical about it but at the same time I've had the unit for about 7 years so I thought maybe it would make sense to have a replacement of the major parts. So we went ahead and did the replacement and this is what I found out afterwards that was very troubling. First of all that was not the same factory manufacturer of the unit I was using and secondly, he only offered a guarantee for 30 days and then it was a $600 unit ,so all of this was a problem for me. I thought that because I was spending $600 I expect to get a grantee that's longer than 30 days, because that's completely ridiculous, especially i they decide that they're going to use equipment that does not exactly match my unit. So that made me feel very unhappy, because my expectation was to get a longer duration on the warranty or at least the sensible decision to actually give the Frigid-Air equipment a Frigid-Air motor. So that's what kind of really left me upset. I would trust that another manufacturer's part would work if they would confidently back it up but now I feel that they just did a replacement for a part that was not even broken yet for the $600 and not give me a guarantee for it.

I called them before I purchased the deal to ask if they service my area. They said they did so I purchased the deal. The next day they called me and told me that they do not service my area. I thought this was awfully odd.

They showed up on time and were clean throughout the process. They provided good feedback and recommendations. I feel like they were very open and honest.

They were very professional, very knowledgeable, clean, business-line, did what they said they're going to do, found some stuff that needed to be replaced and replaced it after they explained it to me, so they did a very good job.

Air-Rite came to the house and gave us their free estimate. We had arranged to get estimates from three vendors. One other firm was close in price, but according to the printed estimate emailed to us, their warranty was not transferable. I was later told on the phone that it would be. As the printed contract said it wasn't we had already hired Air-Rite. In addition, Air-Rite installs Carrier air conditioning which we understand to be one of the best manufacturers. Air-Rite included a one year labor warranty and 10 year Carrier parts warranty which is transferable to the new owners (as we are putting the house up for sale). We will also be getting a $200 rebate. They installed the air conditioner within a few days.This was amazing as it was one of the hottest weeks of the year with extremely high humidity and I know that they were swamped with work. We were extremely happy with this as we had no working A/C. The installer explained how long it would take and set to work. He was efficient and personable. We are very happy with the results. Both the estimator/sales rep and installer were pleasant to deal with which made us pleased to have chosen Air-Rite Heating and Cooling.

This was my second time using Air-Rite in the last month. Once for our home and one for our rental property. Both times the technicians were knowledgeable and were able to solve our problems without it feeling like they were trying to upsell us. We'll definitely use them again.

Terry Lyons, the service technician, is the ultimate professional. Each time we call for our maintenance checks, we ask for Terry. He remembers where the thermostats are located and how to get around our home to check the outdoor and indoor units. He is very respectful of our home. He always removes his shoes immediately upon arrival. He also checks with us about where he places equipment and whether he has parked his vehicle in an acceptable location. We receive an advance call when he is on his way. Each time, he has been on time. Terry answers questions and is willing to spend time explaining what work he has done and what work we may need down the road based on the condition of the units. We would not consider going with another provider.

The service was fine. I am going to use them again.

I initially contacted the company about a possible air conditioner (coil and condenser) replacement. After staff took my contact information, I was informed someone would call me back to discuss and arrange a site visit. I did not get a call back until 3 days later, by which time, I had already made my arrangements. The person I spoke with was very professional and informative. (He did mention he was very backlogged on his calls.)
