Kevin came by and found I had lots of popped nails and added some seal around the chimney. He didn't charge me for this. He gave me an honest assessment of my overlay roof (a method they don't use). I plan on calling them in the Spring for the Angie's List special roof inspection to maintain my roof.

They were very efficient and did a great job and cleaned the area thoroughly.

Perfect! Kevin arrived a few minutes early, completed his inspection of our roof and attic and performed a few minor repairs. He thoroughly explained all points on his inspection checklist and provided advice on a few things to key an eye on in the future. We will definitely use A&D for our next inspection.

I thought it went really well. The day after I purchased the offer, Chris called me the following afternoon. It was easy to get an appointment. On the day of the appointment, he called to let me know he was running about 30 minutes late, but he showed up around the time he said he would. He was a very pleasant, agreeable person. He looked at my roof and guessed it was around 15 years old, which was pretty spot on- it's 14 years old. He let me know he was going to go up on the roof and inspect it and do whatever maintenance he could and then come down to let me know what he found. He came down to speak to me and had a checklist form with his findings and comments/recommendations. He told me that the current roof was placed on top of an older roof that appeared to be over 30 yrs old. The underneath layer was deteriotating and would shorten the life of the top layer and said that there was probably 2-3 yrs left of the roof, which I was expecting. What i liked about this maintenance package was that I was expetcing high pressure tactics to replace the roof right away and that wasn't the case at all. He said there were some good things with the roof, for instance, the seal around the plumbing pipes looked really good. He said that the seal is usually one of the first things to go and that he just needed to re-seal it to secure it. He also said that the gutters looked good and there were no missing shingles. He had photographs of potential problems that could come down the road. I was very pleased. He gave me a full summary of his findings and recommendations and this was exactly what I was looking for. Before I was considering a home inspector to look at it which would have cost several hundred dollars. What I needed was for a pro to come up and look at the roof and see if I had any time to wait before replacement and if there any maintenance that he could do to help it function better in the meantime, which was exactly what I got and was precisly what I was looking for.

From the start to the the finish everything went smoothly. Chris was very clear on communicating his high quality product (included a venting system) in a professional, honest, courteous manner and the price was reasonable. It went without a hitch.The inspector was very professional and seemed to know exactly what I needed to be checked out. He did a couple repairs and went over the condition of the roof. I would hire his company again if the price for the work is fair and competitive.

Kevin at A&D was fantastic. Called ahead, showed up on time. Went above and beyond. Sealed the areas that needed fixing. Inspection other issues for us. Was honest about everything. We are probably 3 years away from a new roof and will be calling A&D when the time comes.

I asked them to replace flashing around pipes in the roof. They replaced them with stainless steal. The flashing around the pipes cost extra then the Big Deal price. They came out fairly quickly and did as expected. They came out fairly responsive and they did the work that was expected in a timely manner. The work took about three weeks. The communication was good.
