We were concerned that the inspection was a way to convince us to add services, but it wasn't. We will definitely get a quote from them when we need a new roof.

Description of Work: I have a roof leak that was evaluated by A&D, and despite the fact that they didn't think there was a problem, the next major rain storm had my roof leaking again. A&D didn't perform any work, but I'm still at a loss as to how to correct my problem. They were courteous, prompt, and professional.

Description of Work: I was impressed with their quick response for a quote and the thoroughness of their presentation. If you don't know a lot about roofing, you should definitely get a quote from A&D. The presentation they did was extremely informative. When I followed up with questions about the quotes I got, they were always the first to reply and their price was very good. I have a small roof (about 17 squares), two chimney flashings, gutters & downspouts, and gutter covers. I also had them quote my ex-wife's house about a block away and we were able to negotiate a 2-house discount. Final price $7629. With prices as good as theirs, it's understandable that they had a busy summer and it took a while to get on their schedule, but I was in no hurry so that was fine -- with roofing, the weather affects things a lot so you have to be flexible. Once they came out, they were very quick; did exactly what they said they would; and cleaned up well. I heartily recommend them.

Description of Work: We purchased the "Angies List $99 Roof Maintenance Package." The package included caulking exposed nail heads, exhaust fans, flashing, etc. Also checking for interior leaks and general maintenance. "Kevin" came to our house, thoroughly inspected the roof and gave us a one page report. He said our roof was in very good condition and needed very little caulking. I showed him what appeared to be water damage in a first floor ceiling next to a bay window (we have a 2 story house.) After inspecting the roof, Kevin said the roof was not the problem. He expected that any leakage was coming from the upstairs window and loose siding around it. Even though it was not part of the package, Kevin caulked around the window and siding. |We were very pleased with Kevin's level of professionalism and the service he provided. Although what he did was definitely worth the $99 "Big Deal" price, I gave a grade of "C" in price, because the allged regular price in the "Big Deal" offer was $325, which would be too high for the service provided.
