Job went extremely well. Our neighbor's tree fell on our house. A & D sent Gene out and he coordinated all the work. He was very knowledgeable, very responsive to our questions plus he was just an all around nice guy. The work all went fast and very smoothly plus we were very happy with the quality of the work. Plus all the workmen were nice and polite. We would definitely recommend this company.

All went well. They were extremely professional. Gene was an excellent ambassador and seemed really interested in getting us the right solution.

A&D provided a detailed estimate that was comparable to other estimates received. They were very professional, arrived promptly at the scheduled time and did an excellent job of setting up, explaining the process, installing the roof and cleaning up after the job was complete. Gene came out last fall and inspected the roof and explained how they go beyond municipal code for superior integrity of their workmanship. Due to the weather, the project had to be postponed till the spring. They honored their price until then. When we settled on the day of the job, the crew showed up exactly on time and finished up earlier than anticipated. The following day a man came to do a final inspection to make sure the property was completely clean.

I contacted Dustin's company for a quote to remove siding and possibly replace windows. Dustin responded immediately and quickly determined that the scope of the work was outside of what his company normally does, but he volunteered to look at the pictures of my siding and give me an opinion on what others had recommended -- and he refused to accept payment for this. That kind of integrity is becoming more rare, as we all know. I appreciate his professionalism and integrity and will certainly use his company for other projects.

Evaluation: A & D Exteriors A microburst damaged our roof and siding. Replacement was required and we sought estimates from recommended companies. We found A & D Exteriors on Angie’s List, which has proven reliable in the past. Their representative arrived on time and fully prepared to discuss our requirements. Our experience with A & D Exteriors has been very positive. The estimator was well informed about code requirements, an expert on material options and characteristics, and responsive to our needs. He was the first of a number of employees, each of whom were customer oriented, very familiar with materials and realistic about timetables. (A special shout-out to Heidi for her great attitude and service!) Phone calls were returned; questions answered; and service A+. After the roofing, cleanup was done twice! When the siding was installed we realized the added advantage of insulation and noise mitigation that were formerly missing. Later we ordered three window replacements which augmented those advantages. A & D Exteriors has reliable product lines, quality installation, and responsive service—they are the complete package. Gene was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in quoting the service. He came off as very knowledgeable and experienced and that gave me confidence in the quote and in the company. The team did a great job in redoing my roof (30+ years old) in one day. Then the gutter team came and removed the old and replaced with new wider gutters that matched the color of the accents on the house. Finally a third person came a few days later and walked around to make sure no debris or nails were left anywhere. It was a great experience overall, and I would highly recommend them for roof and gutter work. Also, and important, their color person - Heidi, was exceptional as well. Once we picked a shingle color, she sent me addresses of local homes that had the same color, so my wife and I can look at the finished product on another home. This was very helpful in giving us confidence we chose the right color.

They were absolutely fantastic. Did a thorough roof inspection and told us that there were no issues with the roof. It has about 6 or 7 years remaining life. They did note that the chimney cap was in bad shape, cracked, peeling etc. and recommended someone to give an estimate on that. Did not try to sell us anything we didn't need, or provide worries that weren't warranted. Really appreciated their professionalism.

A&D is one of the very best home improvement/maintenance firms with which we have ever contracted. Walked the talk. Professional. Over-communicated (that's a good thing). Fair, competitive pricing. Answered all questions in a clear, thorough manner. The entire project was done in one day. Kudos to Project Coordinator Heidi for her knowledge and organization skills, from our first meeting through project day. She was on site 4 or 5 times on project day. Owner Dustin visited to ensure the work was going well and on time. The team leader was terrific and really new his job. High quality. Everything worked smoothly, which of course makes it look easy, but is the result of great teamwork. No boom boxes or any music were played and the team did not even shout to each other, so the neighbors (and us) were happy too! It was great to watch 6 or 7 people all working on the roof at one time and not get in each other's way. Synchronized. Two other people were on cleanup while the roofers were working. --- The roof looks beautiful. If the rating were available we would give A&D Exteriors an A+.

This was our first time having to go through the process of a new roof installation and I can’t imagine that the process can go any better than it did for us with A&D. The whole process from start to finish was perfect. Gene was extremely detailed up-front in explaining the options and process in general and extremely responsive and helpful in follow-up. Heidi helped us pick out the perfect color for our new roof. Eugene was flawless on the day of install in overseeing the project and ensuring the install was completed in one day. And Kevin finished up afterwards and did great work in finishing trim work around the skylights as the new skylights were a different size than the old ones. Thanks A&D! Highly recommended!

I called this company to pay them for a roofing inspection during a home purchase. I want a thorough inspection so that, if the homeowner did not repair previous storm damage, we could request that they file a claim with their homeowners policy - and have A&D complete the work Representative stated: we don't do that. Huh? So you don't do inspections or... you don't do repairs?

Went very good and very fast. Crew finished in 8 hour day.

Geno came out right on time. He was very professional, yet friendly. He looked both outside at the roof as well as climbed through our attic and looked around. Thankfully, he determined that nothing was wrong with the roof. Most likely the problem was from ice dams. Even though he spent almost an hour at our house checking things out, he did not charge us at all. Honest and fair... I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others! Thank you Geno!

Siding was replaced as expected. The crew was professional and worked when weather allowed since it was winter.

Excellent company. Our guy was Geno and he was so professional and answered all out questions and helped us through our insurance claim. They are such an honest company that they didn't want a cent until we were completely satisfied with their work. All our calls to them were promptly returned and every meeting was on time. We'd use them again and refer them to anyone who wants an honest company to do their work. it was very easy to business with A & D Exteriors.

A & D exteriors removed my old aluminum siding and installed new vinyl siding. They did a great job. Everything was performed as agreed and at the agreed upon price. They didn’t ask for a penny until the job was completed, which certainly put me at ease. None of the “unforeseen problems” that seem to come up and cost more money. That is not to say that they didn’t have a few surprises, but they took care of those without complaint or additional costs. Chris was always available and attentive while Arthur and his crew worked their tails off in the cold without complaint. The job site was always tidy and everything was cleaned up at the end. Great experience.

I have a chimney that comes up in my roof line so you do some buildup so that when water comes running down to your chimney the water will go to the left or the right so it won't hit the chimney straight on. It's a bump up and it's called a cricket. It is underneath the actual roofing materials. He was rebuilding the cricket and it took forever. It took forever to get that corrected.It was a huge pain in the a##. I had a leak in my chimney and we started with the roof and what I was told by various people who came out and gave me estimates and what they have told was that over the years the cricket wasn't high enough so build it higher. So I said I need a new roof and a larger cricket. So I went up and inspected and knew that it wasn't big enough. And I turned into the B^%$# from **** but let me tell ya but boy you gotta, when your a single woman.Their finished product was an A but the experience was C at best. First problem was when they started they didn't cover my air conditioning. So I had nails and debris in my air conditioning. I noticed this because I went outside at the end of the day with a flashlight and found that was the case they next day you would not have known it because they tided up the top. When I complained he immediately said no problem I'm gonna have somebody come out and clean your air conditioner. He was very prompt to say oh, I'm so sorry. I'm gonna pay for somebody to come and clean it up completely. The second problem was as they tore apart the old cricket and I kept telling them you are going to rebuild it but there was a language barrier with the guys working. So what they ended up doing was building a much smaller one than what I had instead of increasing it. I think they just went on what they do normally, I don't think they were vindictive. So then I had to get the owner to come back out and explain to him that I wanted something bigger. And he said don't worry about it I got it all covered. End results was it was still smaller.And I held payment. He brought in a professional, I don't know, from his company, but someone came out here, a craftsman and built it to my satisfaction. It took quite awhile but he did come to my satisfaction. It took months. I looked up in the library and it says when you have a chimney this big the cricket needs to be that high. And that is what I held them too. I had to learn how to be a roofer. And then the third problem I had, because now I'm on high alert, I'm like that's 2 dings against you. I'm fortunate enough, I've got a garage where you can see up into the rafters so as they are coming and putting a new roof on, I shine a flashlight up there and I see that there's not something they've done, but there is a gap of wood. Like somebody somewhere over the ages put a foot through it or something. And what did they do they just put, they could see it when they took the lining off; they just put new lining and new shingles above it. And I'm like what about this? And I saw a couple of those and again the owner had to come out and took care of it. But I thought, well now, where is the quality here so now what I have ended up with from what I've heard from everybody else whose come up on roof that it is an excellent job. But it's because I was the architect, telling them what to do. So I don't want to trash these people totally because I am happy with the result but it was only because I was diligent.

Estimate went extremely well. We got four estimates and this was by far the best in professionalism and price.

He provided photos of the area he caulked and helped us to know how to monitor for future damage in case it is not resolved. Professional, courteous and helpful.

Very impressed with the entire process. From the first meeting to the selection of roof color to the delivery of the permit to the very professional roofers this was a great experience. Very professional operation.

Chris was very honest in that there was no maintenance he could because I need a new roof. He recommended a refund of the purchased deal and Angie's List was prompt with that refund. He provided pictures for me to take to my insurance company.

Kevin was very prompt and professional. Our roof is too steep for the inspection without special equipment (not to mention there was frost on the roof), but Kevin checked out and repaired what he could, which was a big help. We will be requesting them to stop by in the Spring for a complete inspection, etc. Couldn't be happier with Kevin and A&D.
