I was very pleased with the prompt and courteous service! A&D helped me immensely by tracking down a pesky roof lead with no apparent entry point. They determined it was due to a problem with the J-channel on the siding. The leak was fixed and hasn't been a problem since!

Their technican stopped by and said that cedar shingles were not covered by this purchase. He also said that the pitch of the roof would be an issue.

Dustin was great! The repairs look wonderful (can't even tell where repairs were made). I am very pleased with A&D Exteriors - would highly recommend them and look forward to working with Dustin in the future.

It went well, they cam out and caulked and repaired some spots on my roof and chimney flashing that needed some work. They also went into the attic to take a look at the decking and gave me a quote on what a new roof would cost. They also provided a quote an new siding, they spent a long time explaining the process and how long it would take to do this project. We haven't decided yet on whether or not we will move ahead with the project this year but A & D will be on the short list of the companies we consider using.

Very courteous, called ahead when he was in the Naperville area, arrived at the scheduled time. Completed the roof inspection...including the chimney and flashing. Noticed missing shingles and recommended replacement. He returned the next day with matching replacement shingles and installed them. Very efficient.

Gene is amazing! I first called him when I needed some work done on the house I was buying. He dropped everything to talk with me and give me some advice. He knows a ton about exteriors and shares his thinking before even seeing the property, which helped me know the size of the problem as we were going through the home buying negotiation process. Once we awarded him the work, it was done impeccably and looks beautiful. Gene also helped us address some issues in the garage of the house we were selling. Even though we hired him to do the work, he spent time with the property buyers to explain what he did and why. He also made sure the warranty was in his name. This gave them the comfort they needed to move forward with the purchase. We truly couldn't have gotten through this process without Gene. And his pricing was far better than some other quotes I got. So...all around an excellent experience--don't hesitate to hire him!

The crew was here two complete days for the roof and another crew was here one day for the gutters. They were very professional and hardworking. Dustin is very knowledgeable and available. He is willing to spend whatever time is needed to make sure the right roof for the home is selected and all questions are answered. The job was very well done and the roof is beautiful. We just love it. And none of our neighbors have one like it.

He was on time, discussed what he was going to do, asked questions about the current roof, and even took pictures. He told me there were no glaring issues, but the roof was old and would likely need to be replaced within 2 years. I will use this company when I'm ready to get the work done.

Great! My concern was the roof on my garage which is older than the house and has visible signs of frying. I thought it would be informative to get the house roof checked too since I'd never done it since the initial inspection on the house 6-7 years ago. I didn't realize siding was also involved. I didn't get anything "tuned", but I'm not sure I needed anything to be tuned. The man gave me lots of good info on roofs. Unfortunately my siding had been redone 4 years ago and he complimented the work and the value to the roof and potential leaking. There was an opportunity to create alarm about the wood siding on the garage (old) and the garage roof, but he didn't . He told me it was in pretty good shape and the roof could wait for the rest of the house in approx 4 years. Very satisfied and learned a lot!

They did a great job with the inspection and replaced some missing shingles without additional charge. Very impressed with their professionalism and responsiveness. Would definitely use them again.

Heidi was very thorough in her inspection. She pin-pointed the cause of some leaking at the edges of our roof due to installation errors made 20 years ago--the shingles did not extend far enough over the roof edge. She also made a good recommendation for attic ventilation--the addition of chutes to keep insulation from blocking air flow from the soffit vents. She recommended that the roof be replaced and wrote up a proposal and price quote. She did not mention that there should be much more insulation in the attic and she did not mention the option of simply repairing the couple of places that were leaking. I did decide to replace the roof, getting 3 more bids, and choosing a different company. A & D actually was the low bidder and they probably would have done a good job, but another company gave me a much more detailed analysis of what they could do for me and I felt more confident with them. I also have had second thoughts about having a "roof inspection and tune-up" done (or at least paying to have it done). Two of the other 3 companies I called gave me as good or better inspection for free.

It was very good. They came as scheduled and we were satisfied with the results. They were professional. They were here at the time that they said they would be here. They gave a pretty thorough report and explained what they saw. I was there on top of my roof when they inspected it and they had the recommendations.

I was so impressed! She was punctual, efficient, friendly, and informative. She checked the roof and caulked in places. Told me the status quo and suggestions-in detail--and wrote a report of our roof and attic space. We know for a while now that we need a new roof because it's about 24 years old--but she never once pressured or tried to sell one. In the spring when we get new roofing done---it will be this company. Very professional!

They were on time. They fixed it straight away. They charged extra as they found an issue. I don't recall how much that was.

Projects were completed. Due to some man power limitations, they had to come back a couple times to complete the roof. They were backlogged with other jobs.

Dustin was very thorough. He fixed one problem and answered all of my questions about the overall condition of my roof. Very pleased with his service. Will definitely use him again.

They came out but I do not know what they did. They yielded the four opening on the roof, I did not see them doing anything but I know that the last time that I had some rains and storms my roof has not leaked since. They did a good job. I did not pay anything extra than the offer.

To start, we contacted Dustin back in October after a wind storm when shingles started flying off one section of our roof. He was very responsive, came out and talked about what we needed to do and helped us through the insurance process as well. When it was apparent that our insurance company didn't agree with us on what constituted damage, Dustin offered to put a tarp over the area that needed fixing until we could get everything resolved. He did all this without having anything other than a verbal commitment with us that we'd do the work when everything was resolved. Fast forward to July. The tarp help up like a champ through the winter, the spring, and the beginnings of summer. Dustin checked in all through these months to make sure the tarp was holding strong. Since we weren't in a hurry, we let Dustin find time in his schedule for a small job like ours. His crew came out in the morning and were gone by the time we got home. The roof looked wonderful. An hour later after we got home, Dustin was at the door to check on our satisfaction and to check the driveway and sidewalk for any roofing nails that might have missed the dumpster. That little thing-checking the driveway for nails-really shows how much he cares about his business, his clients, and his reputation. We're not ready to do the whole roof yet-but when we do, we'll be calling Dustin. And when we decide to change the siding on our house, we'll be calling Dustin.

When I sat down with Dustin to go over their quote, he went into great detail as to what they would do and what we could expect so there would be no surprises. Having built houses in my teens through my mid twenties I was well aware of what he was describing, but he could have been talking to someone with no experience and they would have understood too. He gave a good selection of quality shingles to choose from. The night before they were scheduled to start, a truck delivered a large dumpster for the old cedar shakes and scrap. The next day a crew of six arrived and started working at 7:30 am. I could tell right away these guys have done quite a few roofs together. They had to deal with a light rain off and on throughout the day, so they only stripped the old shakes and tar paper off that they knew they could complete for that day. The plywood remained dry. The second day they completed the job and cleaned the job site and the dumpster was hauled away that evening. The following day, Dustin came by and inspected the job with me to make sure we were pleased with our new roof and the payment was made. He also went around the work area to insure the site was free of nails and debris. Great work ethic and quality craftsmanship! I highly recommend A & D Exteriors.

First Off, It is always great to find local merchants and tradesmen that are professional, experienced, courteous and efficient while providing cost effective solutions. My experience with A&D Exteriors, Dustin Bassi was all of that and more. Upon initial contact over the phone, I described my problem. Dustin agreed to come to our home on the same day while on his way home at the end of his work day. He quickly traced the source of the leak to the flashing and roofing tiles surrounding the heating chimney stack. He immediately fixed the problem area. Now we get to wait for the big test ? That next big storm. Dustin also provided additional references (Dry Wall and Brick Work) for some other work we need performed around our home.

I had purchased a big deal and the service turned out good. They were very professional, and we are very happy with the service. They did everything we expected. They were professional, they came out when they said, they did exactly what we asked, we were happy, and we would talk to them again. The price of the big deal was inexpensive.

(Went VERY well. Smooth from the initial estimate through design and completion. Was kept up to date every day as to progress. The house was outdated and this brought it up to date giving it beautiful curb appeal. The original house was a tudor style with rotting siding and boards. The brick front face looked like it was from a 60's catalog. The redesign, using modern stone facing and new siding gives it a great modern look. Windows were framed with siding and it is now a maintenance free exterior. No more wood replacement or painting! Great job! Great design and finished product. Many compliments from the neighbors on the companies courtesy and finished product. Thanks Dustin!

Size estimate was done electronically, so guesswork of roof pitch and square footage were eliminated. Price quoted was fair based on roof size and pitch (high pitch and 4700 sq ft). Communication was easy - had direct cell line of salesman and Gene always answered when I called, regardless of morning/afternoon/evening. Work was scheduled and completed in 4 days; took slightly longer than normal only due to the 90+ deg F temperatures every day. Cleanup occurred every day, so remnants were not left in yard. Roofing crew was courteous. After work was completed, another representative performed an inspection and made minor adjustments (same day that the work was completed). Did not have to pay anything up-front; all work was completed then payment was delivered. Sales rep Gene suggested that the roof be tested by the elements prior to completing payment; went through 2 storms without incident. Gene met with me a week after the work was completed to complete paperwork and payment. Entire process was straightforward and easy. I felt like I was treated fairly and professionally.

I purchased the $99 roof inspection deal. Dustin inspected the roof and replaced a shingle that was missing. Good communications, although $150 to replace one shingle seemed a little high, but I was going out of town next day and didn't have time to look around for other estimates.

Inspector showed up on time and inspected the roof. Re caulked any areas that needed it. Gave a detailed overview of what needs to be done.
