Had leakage in the second floor ceiling and wall next to Chimney flue. Thought it might be either flashing around chimney stack or tuck pointing of Chimney. Purchased Angie's List deal to have roof inspected. Service provider showed up quickly after purchase, performed inspection and provided inspection report and quote for future work. Service provider looked at chimney and flashing but did provide picture of area as promised. Also no analysis as to cause of leakage in second floor or how to remedy was provided. Instead a quote was provided for additional work on roof over garage. Company provided service that was specific to big deal (roof inspection and report) but not specific to homeowner needs (leakage near Chimney). These types of inspections turn out to be a "paid for quote." I will not belittle the fact that time was spent and services were provided specific to Angie's List deal. So I will purchase more carefully next time.

Honest assessment of roof remaining life was provided. She pointed out minor problems with venting and prior installation. I am happy with the results and would use this company again

The project manager, Gene Rathbone, went above and beyond our expectations for customer service. The "new roof" experience was performed quickly, proficiently, neatly... and our roof looks "terrific". Don't hesitate for a second to use A & D Exteriors and make sure you have Gene handle your project and you also will be thrilled at the old fashioned way he does business...he really cares about the project and wants to make sure you're satisfied. I give them 5 stars for sure.

This contractor arrived at the agreed upon time for the roof inspection. He was polite. I had roof issues that I wanted to have him address. He performed the roof inspection and roof tune up. He also addressed the roof issues that I had asked him to investigate. My opinion is that he is a roofing pro. He explained the results of the roof inspection and suggested how I could go about solving my roof issues. This is an excellent contractor that I highly recommend.

Heidi checked the entire roof, including areas of concern that I pointed out on arrival. She assessed the specific areas of concern, fixed the minor issues she identified, and provided me with a report on the condition of my roof and the work done. I also requested an estimate for wrapping the windows with aluminum, which she provided with the report.

Roof is beautiful and they went beyond the call of duty with the gutter repair. Also cut tree limbs off of the roof and took them away.

It went well. They told us what's wrong and they fix what was needed to be fixed. We were very satisfied with the work they did. Overall, it was good.

Dustin was thorough, professional and informative regarding suggestions for maintaining our roof. It did take several weeks and telephone calls to get this scheduled and we were told after purchasing that the fine print indicated the special was only good on single story, asphalt roofs. They were very nice about still doing the work (even though we have a 2 story with a shingled roof) but I'd suggest being a bit more clear on roof parameters in future offerings.

They did a good job. They did the service probably one week after we purchased the deal. They gave us a report after the inspection and it was very good. It was exactly what we needed.

A & D were awesome! They were extremely professional - it was a busy time of year for them and sometimes took a while to get a call returned, but Gene our company contact was professional, polite, and appologetic for the delay. I know that fall is a very busy time of year for roofing companies. Their work was very professional, and very fair price; they even saw that our chimeny needed re-caulked around and the flashing re-attached better, and they did this with no additional charge! Awesome! Can't ask or expect more for your money than that! I would defintely call them again for any of our exterior work. Good old fashoned value and service is difficult to find these days - A&D Exteriors is a great example of this, and deservers an A+ in this category!

He did a wonderful job, gave us a complete description of the problem and its solution. We were particularly impressed that he recommended a firm close by rather than trying to sell us his own services, since he is located, in his opinion, too far away from us to be able to respond to problems fast enough. He said, "I'm a roofer before I'm a salesman." However, he did, at our request, give us a quote for comparison purposes. Subsequently we took two bids from local roofers, and accepted one of them. The original quote, with its breakdown of the cost of every particular, was invaluable in making a decision, since both of the roofers we received bids from are very highly rated on Angie's List. Once the work is completed, we'll be posting a review in that regard. In short, we could not have been more satisfied with the service and professionalism of A&D Exteriors.

A&D Exteriors came out for a free inspection, and instead fixed a roof leak at no cost to us. A&D found that the leak was due to an uplifted/out of place nail that caused an issue with the flashing. They removed the nail, replaced some flashing, and caulked it. A&D called as they left the property and left me a detailed message explaining how minor an issue it was, and that it was not worth charging for. Even when I asked how much to pay, they told me they were just happy to do something nice for a stranger. That same day, I had another company provide an estimate, and they explained the same issue that A&D did. They stated that the A&D fix was a temporary one and may last 1 year or 5, just depending on what types of weather we face going forward. They proposed fixing it, and addressing some other issues for roughly $750. All in all, we are beyond pleased with A&D. Even if the other company turns out to be correct and it is only a temporary fix, the good will shown by A&D is enough to earn my trust and business for all my roofing needs going forward.

He arrived a half hour early. He inspected my roof, pounded in a few nails and on the garage he straighten a piece on the gutter. He was very honest about not replacing anything, in fact he talked himself out of work I would definitely use this provider in the future.

We bought the Angie's list coupon for inspection and minor repair. The rest of our newly purchased house needed repairs, so we assumed at least a few shingles would need to be hammered down. Only a little caulking was done, so $99 was probably overkill. However, Gene was very personable and knowledgeable. We received a written inspection report and an estimate of when the roof would likely need replacement, as well as some advice about venting the attic bedroom. Would definitely use this company in the future.

I will have the work done before winter. I felt Gene was very professional and gave me an honest report of the condition of my roof.

Dustin was wonderful. We did a deal for 99.00. He was quick to respond and schedule. Dustin came out, assessed the problem, and came up with a solution. He wasn't sure of what the problem was, but had an educated guess. And he was 100% correct. The leak is completely gone, and Dustin was wonderful. We would definitely hire him again.

Initially, I contacted A&D Exteriors to inspect a leak in the roof. They were very responsive as compared to other service providers and sent Gene for inspection within a week. Gene was very professional and provided a detailed report of what was causing the leak and what should be done to get it fixed. He provided some additional advice on why so many shingles were failing off the mansard. He then provided the estimate and also showed up when the insurance folks show up for assessment. Although the actual date for fixing the roof was pushed out a couple of times due to weather, the actual work was done very professionally, was finished with 2 days and clean up was also done thoroughly. Gene himself came up after the workers left to look for nails and cleaned up a few. Their price was also reasonable. Overall I am very satisfied with their work.

Heidi was the epitome of professionalism and extremely personable. She is very comfortable as a female construction consultant and salesperson. Her knowledge of roofing and plumbing systems was apparent from her conversation and reports. She was on property about an hour, and we discussed the roof will need to be replaced (we knew that). I will definitely have A&D quote on a new roof when it is time. I feel the value provided was much greater than the small charge for the inspection and minimal repairs.

Our roof/house is about 12 years old and we wanted to have someone look at it to see if there were any issues and to estimate the life left on it. A&D exteriors was offering a big deal (I think it was $99) for an inspection and touch-up. We got off to a tricky start since they had to reschedule (our roof was apparently higher than most and the person scheduled didn't have a truck/ladder high enough. So we rescheduled for during the week. When the A&D representative arrived, he inspected the roof, and walked me and my husband through his findings (including where he touched up some things). He pointed out a few areas to watch, let us know when he thought a replacement would make sense, and also pointed out something he saw on our chimney (not something related to his service, but since he was up there, he wanted to share what he saw). Overall, we felt really good about A&D and would use them again!
