A piece of the siding had come loose and I needed it repaired right away before it came completely off. I just wanted the piece nailed back up because I didn't want to start replacing siding at this point. They came out within a couple of hours and made the repair. They said they did the best they could and they were not happy with their repair. I was happy. It looked fine to me and i appreciated their honesty and willingness to help me out. I will definitely call them again if I need their services and I will recommend them to my friends.

He came out and told me how much it would cost in addition and when they were going to start the work. So far, they seem pretty thorough and explained everything to me and everything so I was satisfied with that. They were really prompt. They came the next day.

Dustin came out to inspect my roof after we have interior damage due to ice dams. He was on time, checked my roof, and gave suggestions and ideas. He even caulked a couple of areas for no extra cost. He pointed out some problematic areas which will need to be corrected in the future. He was very pleasant and thorough. I will definitely use A&D in the down the road.

They were significantly less than any other quotes I obtained while using a higher quality product over the others. The owner was extremely knowledgeable and work was done promptly. The workers were polite and kept the work space as neat as possible. As much as it hurts to spend that kind of money we have a beautiful new roof that will last a very long time and for far less than the competition. I would highly recommend them.

After Dustin replaced our roof, we had him replace our aluminum siding with vinyl siding. I had a really hard time choosing a siding color and Dustin was so patient with me. He took his time showing me the samples as well as examples of finished projects. He suggested a new shutter color for my house as well and I am very pleased. Once again, he and his crew were prompt, professional and left my yard spotless. Would recommend to anyone!

Amazing company! So responsive, thorough and honest. I needed an inspection done on my roof and Gene came out the same day. He inspected the inside of my attic and around the house taking pictures. He then informed me that I did not have a leak, the moisture was due to ice damming because of the amount of snow we have been having. He explained how ice damming occurs and educated me on exactly why the moisture comes through. He then told me our roof was in great condition and the moisture has dried up so we won't be needing any service. Such a relief to know there are honest people and companies out there. We had a really bad roof leak, he came out and tarped the roof. When the weather broke, they came back to replace roof. Didn't charge anything until the work was done. Owner came out personally to check on work, then to inspect it when its done. Cleaned everything up. Ethical person and called after the work was done to check on it.

My husband and I came home from a trip to find a leak in our bedroom ceiling. I called Dustin to too busy to come out to check for roof damage. He arrived on time and did a thorough job of checking both inside (in the attic) and outside, as well as outside. He took pictures with his phone to show my husband and I what he found. He told us that the leak was caused by ice damming on that side of the roof. Dustin assured us that there was nothing that needed to be done to the roof and that the problem would probably never happen again. The conditions would have to be just right for this to recur. Dustin was very professional and courteous. He seemed to be very knowledgeable and even had a video with him to explain ice damming in simple terms. And best of all, along with the great sense of relief he gave us, he charged us nothing!

Dustin came out to check our roof. He showed us the specific places where the roof was damaged. He was very courteous and professional. His crew arrived on time, completed the job and completely cleaned up after themselves. A & D Exteriors is by far the most professional company we have used in making any updates/repairs to our home.

A company representative came out to inspect the roof. The gentleman found some troubled spots that needed caulking and reviewed the roof for normal wear and tear. He was professional and provided good insight into the remaining life of the roof. My wife and I were content with his level of work and professionalism. We would definitely hire them again!

I talked to somebody from the A&D company. At the beginning, he said roughly speaking this coupon can almost cover my roof based on the area of my house. But after some third-party 'satellite' measurement, the final quote ended up with 15k-20k, which is tripled from the original. It's completely out of our budget. So I have to move on.

Word was done on a timely basis. A supervisor was also present to assist if needed.

However, it took a few months to get it done.

Dustin is amazing! I am currently in process of purchasing a home and needed a roof inspection done ASAP, Dustin was able to assess from just pictures of the property that the shingles were a recalled item and needed replacement. I needed a true assessment for my lawyer so I asked Dustin for a formal written assessment as well. The snow was not cooperating with us and my time was ticking away before my deadline with the seller, in the meantime Dustin was able to pull together an estimate for me to replace the roof. The day before my deadline I called Dustin again to see if there was anything he could do. He went out personally, after re-arranging his schedule, in the snow and rain and did an assessment for me. I received the report a mere hour after I last spoke to him. Dustin you have probably saved me over $7000 on this house purchase and I absolutely will go with your company for the re-roofing because of your exemplary customer service!

Price was competitive with other top rated roofers who submitted bids. Job went very well, even with a rain delay. Dustin was very professional and kept us well informed on what to expect and job progress. We are very pleased with the work and would highly recommend A&D Exteriors.

We had damaged siding from weather, which insurance partially covered. I initially called Dustin because my neighbor (who is an engineer, and meticulous and methodical about EVERYTHING) had used him to do his siding, and was very happy. I still called two other companies for quotes, and chose Dustin over the others. I appreciated his down to earth-ness and the fact that HE was the person who answered the phone when I called. The other companies sent sales-type people to give quotes. At the time of the quote, I also had each person crawl up on the roof with me to inspect for further storm damage. Of the three, Dustin was the only one who was able to accurately guess the age of my roof (7- 8 years) - the others glanced around and said things like, "oh, it's shot, you're going to need a brand new roof..." Dustin worked well with my insurance company, was able to adjust his initial quote and the work done to match what my insurance company offered, and came out to my house to begin work immediately. Unfortunately, we had a trip scheduled prior to work, and were only there to observe the work the first day, but my other neighbor, who does siding commercially, offered to keep an eye on them as they worked to make sure that they weren't cutting corners. Now, he (as he is in the business) is extremely critical, was LOOKING for mistakes, and I got nothing but positive reports. I felt they were very thorough - all the fixtures were put back in place, everything that should have been caulked was caulked, all the corners around the windows lined up perfectly, etc. The men that came were courteous and obliging, and went out of their way to address additional questions that I had. Dustin seems to go out of his way to make sure that clients are happy. The work that they do is of the highest quality. I would absolutely, without reservation, recommend A & D Exteriors to anybody who needs work done on their home.

A and D has since refunded my money and promised to return in the spring to troubleshoot the problem until it is resolved. Very professional. Hopefully they can solve my water problem. They were great when they came out. They were good, fast and courteous. Everything was great but the work they did didn't last. They claimed they fixed it and everything seemed fine for a while but it is now February and it has started to leak again. I dislike the fact that it is leaking again. Everything was fine and beautiful. Unfortunately, they did not do that great a work. I'd have rather paid $500 and got it done right. It was bad because it didn't work. The price was horrible as I paid them to fix it and it's not fixed. They were very professional and courteous but at the end of the day they didn't fix my problem.

That was OK. I had some major problems, but so far they took care of everything. When they did the roof repair there was damage done to other things in the house and that was what they took care about. It was an ongoing project for a few months.

Currently we are waiting for the weather to get better to replace the roof. The company we discussed the roof work with was A & D Exteriors. Dustin was wonderful. He provided us with all the information and and worked out a detailed plan for the work on our roof. He was very accommodating and provided us solutions to some other issues we needed to handle as well. And he also met several times with our insurance adjuster in very cold and icy weather. When and if the work is eventually completed, I will provide a more detailed review of the roof and the company.

I was asleep when they came on the day of the appointment, so I didn't get a chance to speak with them. I tried calling on four separate occasions to reschedule, but they never returned my calls. Thus, I had my money refunded and the deal cancelled.

Therefore there was no further cantact with them. |I want back the payment of $99, because they did just inspection, which could be done usually free of charge.

This company was responsive to set up the work. Work was preformed by an unskilled laborer. Gutters did not seal as suggested. Nice girl who did it but not satisfied with the quality of work.

I am not sure if I will use this provider or not but "not sure" was not an option above. He came the day after the big tornadoes/storms so he was late because of an onslaught of emergency storm repairs in the south suburbs, he said. That was fine. He inspected the roof from outside and told me I needed to replace a section of plywood and tiles, with an estimate of $2300. Before spending this money I got a second opinion. The second opinion guy went into the attic (which A&D was supposed to do but didn't, which I remembered when the second company came out). When the second company came out, he gave me a completely different analysis of the problem and added "Don't let anyone tell you you need to just replace that section of plywood, because that won't solve your problem." (Which is exactly what A&D wanted to do for $2300. It's now been too cold to get a 3rd estimate, but as of now I have "apples" and "oranges" from two different companies. I'm not a roofer so I don't know who is right and who is wrong. But I will say that the second company came and inspected my roof as a free service, while this A & D "deal" on Angies List cost me $99 and didn't go into the attic, which is how the second company determined what my roof problem was. *sigh*
