I can't say enough good about this company. Prior to telling you about the work I have to tell you that because Angie's list had these guys ranked so high, I had them come out and give us a quote in the SPRING of 2015. The roof is HUGE and has a severe pitch and very dangerous to work on. We knew going in approximately what it would cost because two neighbors just had roofs replaced. (our homes were built at the same time) Still when I saw the quote, I decided to put off replacement for one more year. In any event, in THE FALL of this year I noticed a small leak after a major storm and had them come out and take a look. The area of the roof is where ice damning occurs in the winter because part of the house is in the sun and then drains off to a shady area where it refreezes. The owner came out to take a look at it, and said he didn't want to do the job because he didn't feel a simple repair would work. He told us that he believed the only way to make it work was to remove all the shingles from that one segment of the house which was pretty pricy for a repair. He felt the repair solution would be the only one that would insure the repair would work. In total a 4000 dollar job. That sounds expensive, but they also had to remove and replace cedar siding on a section of the house. The owner of the company felt so bad about the cost. He said.....and listen to this..... "Tell you what.... I feel bad that you needed such an extensive repair." Take the quote on the roof I gave you in the spring, and we'll take 4000 dollars off it if you replace the roof in the next two years!!! Thereby really giving me the repair for free. I was amazed! This company is the real deal!

Crystal was great. She really went over the roof in detail and gave me good advice for avoiding water damage and eventually replacing the roof. It's an older roof and has not had that kind of maintenance in quite a while so she did quite a lot. I appreciated her clear assessment and experienced advice.

You cannot go wrong hiring A & D Exteriors for any of your housing repairs. Dustin has proven to be dependable, straightforward and honest. From our very first appointment with Heidi, we realized there was true professionalism at it's finest. We were provided an in-depth accountability of the work needed on our home. Heidi spent the time reviewing the many roofing and siding choices that were available, and what products were best for our home. When the remodeling process began, we were provided a daily accountability of what to expect. The expert team at A & D Exteriors showed up on time, and most importantly - they took their time completing the exterior work on our home, and even completed our job ahead of our schedule. Whether we dealt with Dustin, Heidi, Kevin, Olivia, Tyler, Eugene, Arthur, Tom or Krystal, we found the entire A & D Exterior team to be perfectionist ! We couldn't be happier with our home's repair and were 100% satisfied with every phase of our project from start to finish. No easy task being a perfectionist ourselves... Without any hesitation or reservation, we highly recommend A & D Exteriors ! ! !

Gene our salesperson sat down with my husband and I and explained the different materials the company provided and the cost. After going over everything with us Gene contacted us a few days later and gave us the quote. My husband and I thought that the price was very fair and decided to go wth A & D Exteriors. When Eugnene and his team arrived to tear off the old roof and put on the new one, Eugene went over everything with me before they started the project. The team was able to tear off the old roof and put on a new roof within a day and a half. My husband and I were impressed by the team work and professiolism. They had a team that would pick up the old roofing as soon as it was coming off. Before they left, my yard, driveway and deck was all cleaned of any nails or old roofing. The guys even took the time to replace all my table and chairs I had on my deck. My husband and I would highly recommend this company. They did an excellent job.

Fantastic! When I called to tell them about our issue the person who answered looked up our house on google maps to see what our roof looked like and to see the roof line. He was professional and said they would come out and take a look at the roof. They came out within a few days. We had previous roof company's attempt to fix a minor leak in our roof, they were not successful and were there just to try to sell us a new roof. When we called them back, they did not return the call. Kevin from A&D looked at the roof, found the problem, and fixed it within 10 minutes. He was very friendly and easy to work with. He called prior to arriving to let me know the exact time he would arrive. He was professional and clearly knew what he was doing. Contrary to the other company, A&D told us our roof would be fine for another 7 to 10 years. We will definitely call them when we do need a new roof!

Krystal was excellent. She took her time on the roof and informed me that my inspector missed quite a bit prior to my purchasing my home. She showed me pictures and explained everything to me. She's great. Will probably use them to replace my roof.

A&D was very professional and honest. They sealed a couple of leaks I had in a bedroom, provided an estimate remaining life of the existing roof. A&D also offered to come back for free if I have experience any other leaks. Will definitely be calling back when its time to replace my roof.

I was very pleased with the work that A & D Exteriors performed. It's hard to tell with roofs, but I believe that Kevin fixed any leaks that we were worried about being more of a problem over the winter. i would definitely use this company again.

We bought a "roof exam" and minor caulking because of some leaking problems. The advice we got after the exam was helpful; although the leak could not be fixed, we were told that it would only be fixed with a tear off. The advice didn't come with a hard sell or an attempt to pretend to fix something that couldn't be fixed, which I appreciated.

At the time when the tech arrived, it was a bit hectic and my husband handled the issue so I didn't get his name. He was prompt, understood the issue, and got right to work on the area of the roof in question. Luckily it turned out to be a small leak and was repaired quickly. Very pleased with the quick response and service provided. Highly recommend and would utilize their services again!

Our house is an 85 year old Tudor with many angles and dormers so it was a fairly complicated roofing process, and A&D was outstanding through the entire process. I met with Gene who explained the process, listened to my concerns and then provided a proposal that covered everything at a significantly better price than another highly rated company. They have an in-house designer who met with me to help select the right shingle color. The workmen arrived promptly when they said they would and were extremely polite, explained what they were going to do, and were willing to answer any questions that I had through the process. The cleanup thoughout the job and afterward was amazingly thorough ... there was someone rolling a magnetized roller around the yard to pick up stray nails throughout the 2-day job, every bit of the roof debris was picked up and hauled away and they were very careful not to damage the landscaping. The new roof looks great and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Crystal was fantastic. She arrived on time, ready to work. She spent a considerable amount of time on the roof inspecting, repairing and taking pictures. She spent even more time with us explaining the issues she found with her inspection. We asked for a quote for a new roof which she provided on the spot (much appreciated!). Crystal explained the quote thoroughly, educating us on every aspect of the roof buying process. Overall, I was very impressed with Crystal's knowledge and professionalism and with A & D Exterior's products.

I was impressed by the professional approach that was taken to remove our old roof and replace it. usiing architectural 3D shingles We got a number of estimates before we decided to go with A & D. Heidi came out to review what procedures the company followed, and she was knowledgeable and articulate. One big plus was that she brought a folder with a layout of our roof and a detailed plan of how they would replace it as well as a cover sheet for their liability insurance, including workmen's compensation. Usually, I have to request that a company e-mail this to me, and it often is not forthcoming. Heidi also selected the perfect color for the shingles, which made a big difference in the overall appearance of our home. We requested that a couple of changes be made to A & Ds options, and the owner was open to both requests. It's hard to precisely compare their price to other estimates we got, but it was $8,000 less than one company that offered similar work and materials on the project. I was told that A & D would take two days to complete the project, and that anything left undone after the first day would be sealed and protected from the elements ~ they followed through on this to the letter. We had just had new landscaping planted in the front yard, and A & D took great care to protect it. An employee even came out to ensure that no debris blew into our neighbors' yards, and to remove debris from ours. They checked and rechecked our home for debris after the job was done, too. The foreman remained on the job throughout, and the workers were professional and friendly. The owner came by on the second day and showed me that some mortar in our brickwork was receding. He gave me the option of having the brickwork repointed by another professional or having flashing installed that would prevent leakage. I truly appreciated him laying out options for me to make sure that my husband and I had some choice in the problem's resolution. Since the roof was installed, there have been no problems. The owner made it clear that for the labor warranty to be maintained, we have to contact A & D every two years. It does put the onus on us to remember each 2-year mark. This may be standard, however. Overall, I highly recommend A & D Exteriors for roofing work.

Terrific experience with this very professional company! I would definitely use them again in the future and recommend them to friends. Chris, Dustin, and Heidi were all very responsive, professional, and helpful at every step of the way. The crew that did the work did an excellent job and minimized the disruption to my home.

Pride, professionalism and prepared is a way one could describe my experience with A & D Exteriors! Pride is evident not only due to the quality craftsmanship of Dustin's install of metal flashing, application of caulk, and nailing exterior surfaces beyond the scope of the job, but a insightful conversation helped to also shape my view of his wonderful company. I shared that my expectation is to hire contractors that can concur with the following statement: "Projects completed by "code" may be "acceptable, but not necessarily the "best thing" to do..." His response was impressive: "....not only may it not be the "best" thing to do, but may not be the "acceptable" thing to do..." Dustin (the owner of the company) is a true professional who strives not just to "improve" the exterior of your house, but to make your exterior "excellent" through solid craftsmanship, quality products and advanced tools! He is prepared to offer his customers the best products available to meet his mission of providing superior service, rather than just fixing, and maintaining the exterior of your home! For example, he provided a suggestion about a particular paint by Sherman Williams that is great for siding color touch-ups. It is his hard work ethic that obviously shapes his company's mission, for he went beyond my expectations to do basic maintenance of my roof and a complete inspection of my roof. Finally, Dustin let me know that my roof vent on the side of my home may need repair in the next couple years, while, might I add, he helped me out by repairing a nail pop on my siding! Need I say more...honest and hardworking! He did not tell me I needed to repair it now and he certainly did not have to help me with the siding piece that needed nailing! Thank you, Dustin for helping homeowners by being a honest, hard working and talented contractor!

I thought that we had some hail damage from the hail storm that hit the area on Sunday (08/02) night. I called A&D Exteriors on Monday. Gene (their consultant) called me on Tuesday (08/04) to schedule an appointment for 12.30 pm on Wednesday (08/05). I requested him to do the appraisal and send me my options and pricing by email since no one would be at home at that time. Gene was very helpful and understanding and told me that given his experience as a claims adjuster for State Farm, he would be able to give me my options and also tell me what will and will not be covered by my insurance. Gene called me at 12.45 pm on Wednesday (15 min after my scheduled appointment) to tell me that there was no damage to the roof, siding or the gutters. I really appreciate the promptness of A&D's response, and Gene's punctuality and professionalism. I will go back to A&D Exteriors if i need any exterior work done in the future.

It went fine. We will find out once it rains. They are good.

The company was very professional. They were very prompt. They informed me that my roof looked new and that I should request a refund because their services were currently not needed. I appreciated the fact that they did not just take my money. If I ever need roofing services, I will be sure to call them!

My wife and I were very satisfied with the job performed by A & D exteriors. We weren't really expecting too much for the $99 maintenance package we purchased through Angie's list other than a roof inspection but Krystal really did a solid job. She nailed down and recaulked any problematic nail holes, recaulked and inspected all flashing, and provided some useful information regarding the age of our roof and simply things we could do to help increase the lifespan of the roof. That more than anything will definitely make my wife and I consider A & D exteriors when the time comes for the big roof repair. I appreciate companies that appear honest and trustworthy and not just trying to make a buck. Krystal however went above what I felt the package called for. She replaced and resealed a raincap on a rooftop vent that had fallen off and also removed some old cable wires from a no longer used satellite. I thought helping us out with both of those items was really a nice touch. I would definitely recommend A & D Exteriors for any of your roof repair needs. They seem to know their stuff, do a great job, and are honest.

He looked over my roof and said it was in good shape, but it's only a few years old, so I knew that. It was a misunderstanding about what the Big Deal included and what I needed. He was very nice, polite and helpful. What he did was fine, but it wasn't what I expected, paid for or needed. He was on time and clean, very nice and very friendly. They were very expensive for what I needed to have repaired, so we went with somebody else for the repairs.

Kevin was prompt in returning my call and arriving for the estimate. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating when my husband added the skylights and larger gutters. It took a few weeks to set up a date due to all the rain we've been having. The crew showed up a little early on Tuesday and started right in with the tear-off. The roof, chimney and exhausts were completed by the end of the day. The skylights were put through the roof but still needed to be cut through the bathroom ceilings. Two days later the crew arrived to install the gutters. Kevin came back on Friday to finish the skylights. Despite all the debris from the roof, our yard was cleaned up, and they took care to not damage my numerous plants and shrubs around the house. Any questions we had Kevin was always available and made for a trouble free experience. We are very pleased with the work done, and highly recommend this company.
