We were extremely pleased with the service provided as well as the professionalism of everyone that we encountered throughout the process.

We used Wizard of Wood in 2018 to refinish an existing hardwood floor and expand it into two additional rooms. Four years later, the floor still looked great, so we had floors installed in four bedrooms and a hallway. Again, the results were great! There was lots of attention to detail around a curved staircase and a fireplace. Wizard of Wood was easy to work with, completed the work on time and as quoted.

Our floors look brand new!!! We went from dated bowling alley yellow/orange to a rich matte dark tone. The entire process flowed well (four day process for us) and the crew was professional and hard working. We would definitely recommend and hire again if needed!

My floors look AMAZING! Ray took his time making sure everything was just perfect. He was punctual, mindful of our living in the home while the work was being done and I had no sanding dust at all in my home! My husband and I comment about the beauty of the floor every day now. I would highly recommend them!

They came early Mon. at 8am and got most of it done the 1st day. They finished up with about 2 hrs. the next day. I chose the Bona Traffic HD Commercial Grade water based urethane. It dries fast so it cuts down on the time tat it takes. Wizard of Wood Floors offers several options and explains the pros and cons of ea. option. The guys did very good quality work. Other paces are cheaper but they don't offer as many options. The clear coat looks very nice. I also had them replace some base board.

I am brand loyal to them, because I trust them. Not only do they do great work, but they left no dust when they finished. They took every precaution to eliminate dust, and when they left, cleaned everything!

I recently bought a 55 year old house with oak floors throughout. The finish on the floors was damaged and dull, and the crew at Wizard of Wood floors brought them back to life. They arrived on time and kept me well-informed about what was going on. I had them use the dustless sanders, and there was almost no dust. When they were finished, the floors looked beautiful. Mike was very accommodating and also helped me solve a problem that was above and beyond what he and his team were hired to do. I would highly recommend wizard of wood floors to anyone wanting to get their floors refinished.

Mike and his worker were very professional in all our interactions. They showed up as promised and left a clean work area each day. I was given a sample of various colors right on the wood so I could see how it would really look. They did a fantastic job and we are so happy with the final product. It was such a relief as we had the floor done a month before by someone who didn't know what he was doing and left us with a not so great looking floor. Now I feel good when we get compliments about how beautiful our floor looks! We absolutely Love it!

Wizard of Wood Floors did an awesome job! They were efficient, on time and did everything that was promised. We had new floors installed in our family room and hallway. Our existing floors in the dining room and kitchen were refinished to match the new floors. They did a great job in putting up plastic to contain the dust in the rooms that were not being done. Even after they left everyday, they cleaned everything up so we could function in our home. It was a big project, but well worth it. The end product was absolutely beautiful and we couldn’t be happier with our floors. 6 months after our floors were installed, we noticed a splinter in the floor in our family room. I called the owner, Mike Galloway to let him know. Him and his team immediately got back to me and within 2 days the splinter was repaired and my floor looks as good as new. That is true customer service!!

My wife and I are very pleased with the job done by Wizard of Wood. We were completely remodeling our kitchen, and wanted to refinish the oak hardwood floors at the same time. This required careful coordination with our kitchen remodeling crew over a period of several months. The Wizard of Wood people were extremely helpful and accommodating in meeting a somewhat chaotic schedule, and we appreciated that very much. In addition, we changed the color of the floor stain, and after careful color mixing got exactly the stain color we wanted. After staining they put two coats of their best finish, and then waited until our kitchen was done to apply the third. The work was perfect. I would highly recommend this company..

We had several awful experiences with flooring companies. No shows,bad artistry etc. This company is truly the wizards of wood. Prompt, extremely professional, neat, great cleanup and bonus the floors are beautifully restored. Highly recommended!

Excellently. This was the second time I used Mike the wizard. The forst time was several years ago for sanding and refinishing. This time was primarily to install new maple floors in the great room and refinish what I had. Everything matched perfectly. In fact it looked so good that I the wizard put maple on the floors in the remaining 3 rooms on the first level. I have recommended to a neighbor already. Crew was fast and clean.

Warning Don’t use Wizard of Wood Floors if you want your finished floor to match existing floor color and shine. My entire first floor is wood with an orange/brown color with high gloss. The kitchen that Wizard of Wood Floors refinished is yellowish with low shine. It’s a complete mismatch and is obviously different from the rest of the house. The kitchen is a high traffic area. So, I have had it refinished several times. The other companies have always matched the color and shine perfectly. I can understand the match not being perfect, due to aging, etc. But, the Wizard of Wood Floors color and shine is so far off, that it is hard to understand. If all of the other companies could match it perfectly, why couldn’t Wizard of Wood Floors at least come close? Now, I will have to have the floor refinished next year by a reliable company. So, the $1700 that I paid them was wasted. Wizard of Wood Floors not only did a bad job, they are also much more expensive than other companies.

Mike was very punctual and responsive throughout the process and accommodated my scheduling request. I had the carpet in the living room taken up and the hardwood underneath refinished. When they pulled the carpet there were significant stains from our dogs. Mike came out and reviewed the situation with the workers and they did an excellent job replacing some pieces and refinishing the floors. They also refinished the dining, kitchen and hall areas. The men who did the work were very friendly, courteous and accommodating to any issues. They arrived on time each day and worked hard and the work was done on schedule. The floors look great. The price was very reasonable for the work performed.

Real pros. A little more in cost, but well worth it in the lack of stress and anxiety I've heard about with other suppliers of this type. From the first moment of contact they were efficient, fast, and they did what they said they would. They even wrote a Thank You note expressing gratitude for our hiring of them.

Love the floors . Best price we could find for dustless . They got job done in less time than was projected.

This went beautifully. From getting Mike's estimate within a day of my initial inquiry, to completion of the work only 2 1/2 days after it started, the entire project was handled professionally. The crew arrived shortly after 7 am each day and did a great job of confining dustto the rooms they were working on. Oh, and the floors look fantastic! I can't imagine a better experience overall, and enthusiastically recommend Wizard of Wood to anyone who needs floor installation or refinishing.

Awesome, everything was too notch & finished in 2 days which was 1-2 days shorter than expected. Didn't have to leave house due to fumes (Bona heavy traffic 3-coat finish). Dust was minimal & would recommend going for extra dust collection option.
