Very good. After inspecting their completed work, I called Mike and let him know a couple of small things needed to be fixed. The guys were back the next afternoon and took care of it. They stand behind their work and seem very conscientious about leaving the customer happy.

Fantastic! Mike was great from start to finish. Answered all my questions and responded quickly and made sure I was educated enough to make the right decision. Floors came out better than expected and his crew never seemed to stop working! Hard working, very professional, and priced right!

Wizard of Wood Floors were fantastic, we are so happy we hired them! Mike and his crew were professional, hardworking and did a great job on the floors. From the initial quote, it was clear of their knowledge and experience and they were able to clearly answer my questions. They even worked with us to get the flooring done within a week of when we hired them so it would be done before we moved into our new home. Our 2-man crew worked very hard into the evening and on a Saturday to get the job done and the old floors came out looking great! Would definitely recommend.

Everything went smoothly from the initial price quote with Michael to the workers that did everything. Arrived on time, took the time to explain all the steps to us, made sure we liked the stain used, kept offering more options until we were happy. The work went fast and on schedule.

Excellent. As promised, the dust was 99% contained. We had them match the stain with the previous color. They patiently tried different samples and found the right match for us. They had to make multiple trips to the store to cater to our requests, but did so without complaining. Very honest and professional.

They did a great job, they were professional. Pricing wise, they were right in the middle and fair compared to the others. I was pleased with it considering the work we had done. We went with a water based finish, and we were really happy with it, it was great choice. I would use them again and I would recommend them!

1. Even after the third time they came out to fix the floors, there were hairs and imperfections (dust and dirt) embedded in the finish. 2. The edges of the floors where the stain was darker was due to improper sanding and preparation of the floors. 3. The team was given explicit directions to care for the cabinet. They failed to pay attention to this and the cabinet fell from the mounting and was destroyed. When the cabinet fell, it destroyed the drywall in two places. They hid this damage by replacing the refrigerator. The Wizards of Wood Floors lack of detail, inability to follow basic instructions and overall lack of professionalism, would prevent us from either using them again or suggest that someone use their services.

The guys were great. The floors look awesome.

Very nice job. A little sealer leaked onto side wood. WOW offered to come out and fix, no hesitation at all.

Mike and I spoke a number of times and he showed up on the day of the job. He's brief and to the point, not a lot of small talk. The guys who did the installation did a very professional job and even spent extra time helping clean up a mess caused by another contractor that resulted in coffee getting under the newly installed "shoe" molding. They carefully helped me clean it up, without rushing, and were very relaxed through out. I was very impressed at the level of service.

Mike and his crew were excellent - very professional, did a fantastic job, very easy to communicate with and punctual. Our floors in the kitchen and den were sanded and refinished, and now they look great. Wood definitely hire again.

Contractor missed his appointment time. The company representative showed up at 5:52 pm insisting that that was enough time for him to take measurements but that left no time for me to discuss the job particulars with him. He did apologize saying that other customers had taken longer to accommodate which was not what I was wanting to hear at that point. He showed up with only eight minutes to gather information to prepare a quote to refinish our floors.

They did a great job with installation of on-site finished wood floor installation and finishing. They were pretty fast to start and finish. Very clean and very considerate of the family living in the house. Mike also provided very fair price and the quality of the job was outstanding.

Great job overall. Took a few days, and smell did not persist for long (although we kept windows open and fans circulating; we used Bona traffic HD). Good quality, did not mess up anything, and even went an extra step in a few places. One section was missed, and that's where communication points were lost: I was trying to get a hold of someone on the phone, email, or something, and it was not going well. Same as when the job was finished, but I was not sure if it was, and trying to figure that out. Phone is not picked up often, email is slow to reply. All in all, communication problems are a minor piece, and I'm happy with the job done.

Very pleased with the outcome. Communications was a bit problematic initially, as we were trying to get the job done during the "busy season". They were very accommodating in order to meet our schedule and went so far as to adjust their schedule. Mike and his crew were all very skilled and professional!

Wonderfully. I did not know what to do about our floors as I didn't think they needed sanding or a complete redo. I had used a product on them that had resulted in a splotches on our dark oak floors. Mike was very helpful and flexible. (I had to change the date several times). The two men who did the job were very very good. They were polite, friendly and moved the furniture and completed the work expertly. Actually they exhibited a great deal of care and enthusiasm about wood floors which I appreciated. The floors look like new, and I am so pleased with the result.

Michael was great to work with. He was communicative, quick to return calls, punctual and focused on quality outcomes. The team that worked in the home did their best to reduce dust (covering up items/unused rooms with plastic, moving furniture, etc.). The quality of the work is high, and i am pleased with the new bedroom flooring and particularly impressed with the refinishing work they completed on the first floor of my home - the floors were in BAD shape (due to two large dogs) and were stained a dark brown. The replaced some boards, sanded others, and restrained a much lighter 'pecan' color. The floor looks new - an amazing transition. Overall, this team is a pleasure to work with and did a great job. Their bid was competitive - though not the lowest of the three bids I took, it was only slightly above the lowest bid and well below the highest bid. I highly recommend "Wizard" and Michael if you are going to refinish and/or install new floors.

Everything from estimate to completion went smoothly and professionally. No surprises. You couldn't ask for better service. The floor is beautiful. They matched the old and new floors perfectly. They may cost a little more than some providers, but for an important investment in your home like this, you will never regret it.

It is true -- that the real test of an experienced, professional company is when things don't go as planned. And those of us with older homes know that repairs often reveal the unexpected. This was the case with refinishing the floors in our 70 year old home. Wizard of Wood came through with flying colors despite the numerous challenges we encountered. What looked to be a simple refinishing of the floors in our 2 story home quickly turned into a struggle to get the upstairs floors to accept the stain that was used successfully on the first floor. It turns out the floors upstairs were not oak like the downstairs--they were a much harder wood and the stain did not penetrate evenly. The crew patiently tried several techniques but none of them worked. Mike the owner came out several times to review the situation, but it came down to deciding to use a natural stain upstairs (the downstairs was medium brown) or replacing the older upstairs floors with oak. Mike and the crew were extremely patient and supportive while we were deciding what to do. We were reluctant to replace the floors due to the expense, but Mike wanted to make sure we would be happy with the outcome. He gave us a very good price for replacing the floors and we ultimately decided to go with that option. Once the decision had been made, they completed the job quickly. The floors are beautiful!! We can't say enough how Mike and his crew went over and beyond to make sure we were happy with the end result. This is the second time we have used Wizard of Wood and would highly recommend them!! Mike was very professional and explained well all the options for completing the refinishing. They were to try and match the color on the hardwoods throughout the rest of the house. The floors look absolutely beautiful with the Swedish finish, and the color match was spot on. The crew showed up on time and did all they promised. We are very satisfied and would highly recommend W.O.Wood.

I have used this company in the past and referred to others, they truly are a 6 star company. I needed a rush job to get my floors redone before I left, and their response was phenomenal. They treated my floors as a science.

The installers were on time and finished the rooms in less than a day. They were quick, courteous and their work was absolutely top notch. They moved everything back and cleaned up as well. I would use them again in a heartbeat. This was a new home we built and the cost was half what the builder would have charged me. I plan on using them to do my basement as well.
