They did a fantastic job! They were very professional. Came out within a day of contacting them and gave me an estimate after 2-3 days. The estimate was pretty accurate and the finished job is really great. They were very service oriented.

They sealed off other rooms pretty well. You can't escape dust with this type of work, especially with four rooms. Everything went very well. There was a bit of a mix-up about the Swedish finish. We initially decided to avoid it due to the odor. The workers came prepared to do that finish and not the other. We decided to just go with it rather than postpone the work. We are happy with the finish, but must tell anyone getting the Swedish finish to get out of the house. You will not be able to stand the smell. It can literally knock you over. The result it great. Just plan on not being around.

This was about 1/3 of the price from another company I had used before. I thought they were punctual, conscientious and left the floor very clean.

From the initial estimate to completion, everything went very well. The two man crew worked incredibly hard. It was a four and a half day process (including a Saturday), starting very early every morning. We had the same two guys every day. Had used them previously, and would definitely use them again. You would be hard pressed to determine where the old hardwood ends and the new begins.

They did a great job. They were excellent. The best I've ever dealt with.

Response was excellent. Michael agreed to start the work within 2 weeks, which was much appreciated since my very negative experiences with other bidders. Bob, Wayne and Mike were great and the finished job is beautiful although there was more dust than I expected from reading their information.

I like the idea that he's been working a long time at this and that he is very knowledgeable about his job. The Wizard of Wood is very friendly, and I think he is a trustworthy man. I would recommend him.

We ended up choosing a friend of the family's company, even though their cost was higher.

Our experience was excellent. Mark and Ishmael were very friendly and professional. They talked with us about everything they were doing. They even finished a day early and cleaned up nicely. The floor looks great! Mike gave us the Angie's List discount even though we weren't quite at $2000. Their estimate was several hundred dollars cheaper than the two other companies we consulted.

We elected not to hire since the price was identical to another highly rated company which was nearby. The estimator was prompt, likeable and knowledgeable and came to estimate on a Saturday. With such a big job, it seemed better to have a contractor in the neighborhood. If they had been even a bit cheaper we would have used them no question.

Beautiful work. Saw the work they had done for a big job at a friend's home. Price was reasonable according to another remodeling professional who was doing some work on our home. The floors were light oak and we had them redone in a golden brown. Looks brand new. Professional, on-time, helpful. Can't say enough good things. I scheduled way in advance because I wanted to have the floors done during spring break, but I could have had them done much sooner.

Excellent, great job. Stain needed to be custom and installer was patient and very helpful coming up with the perfect formula. Excellent workmanship and great attention to detail. Kept work site as clean as possible. Could not ask for better work performance. Hire Wizards. Keep up the good work.

Excellent experience. Mike came promptly to give advice and estimate, and to schedule work at my convenience. The workmen were extremely pleasant as well as competent, and I am delighted with the results.

When he came to prepare the estimate he listened to my needs and was very helpful and informative. Did not encourage me to do more than what was needed.

When I called, the earliest appointment for an estimate was several weeks out. Since I was not pressed for time, I went with the date. When I said I would need the workers to move the furniture, I was told that would be an extra charge. No one ever got back to me with that information or any other follow-up.

I ended up going with another company, whose quote came in $1,000 less.

Estimate was made promptly. Helpful information was included. We did not hire Wizard of Wood because we received a lower quote.

I had Wizard of Wood at my old house and was very pleased, so when we moved and wanted new hardwood floors installed, I called them immediately. I couldn't see having other people (companies) come into the quote since I was so pleased with Wizards work the first time.

I would use WIZARD OF WOOD FLOORS again. They completed the job when they said. The workers were good. They worked with us on the stain color. The price was in line with what we thought. We're happy with the service, and love the new floor.

It has been a month and a half since Marek and Ishmael finished our floor, and it is one of the best parts of the house. In fact, given the amount of work they put in, I could not believe the price was so low. This was an excellent experience.

Pete was an excellent representative for Wizard of Wood. He explained each step, presented all options, and completed the work ahead of schedule.

My husband called once and left a message regarding getting an estimate on the project. He did not mention Angie's list, and his phone call was not returned, thus the mediocre professionalism and responsiveness ratings. I phoned a few days later, name dropped Angie's list, and received a prompt (10 minute) phone call back. Mr. Galloway, while very friendly and easy to communicate with on the phone, came back with a quote of $3800. The company we hired is doing the project for $2850. That's a pretty steep difference. I will report on work done by Advanced Hardwood after the job is completed.

Michael and his crew saved me. I had just fired the previous company for not showing up. They installed my flooring at the last minute and did a terrific job. They were neat and fast and the flooring looks beautiful. I will use this company in the future and recommend them to anyone who is looking to install wood flooring. BRAVO.

This was my first experience with hardwood and all I have to say is WOW! Michael and his team (Justin and Chris) were very professional. This was a smaller job, but we were never treated like it was a small job. Super professional the whole way. The bedroom floor is gorgeous and we love it!

Mike's crew is extremely professional. They did a great job sanding old pine floors that continually ate the sandpaper on their machines. The floors were barely salvageable, but now they look pretty good. The only suggestion is they could have been a little more careful covering rooms that weren't included so they didn't get dusty. I would definitely hire them again.
