Description of Work: Mike and his guys installed a new oak floor along side an existing floor and then re/finished them all. Mike was on time as promised for all appointments and work days and was prompt when issues arose that needed to be worked out. All in all great service at a fair price.

Description of Work: I asked for quotes to sand (carpet has been removed as have the nails and staples) and stain 14 steps. I received quotes from 4 different companies and I expected Wizard to be the least expensive. They advertise they are the least expensive but that is not what they really mean. His quote came in $700 more than everyone else's. I have had wood floors put in the family room some 15 years ago (I wish I could remember who did them: excellent) and they still look great. Mike says only the way he does floors and here is his email: My slogan is we won't be the cheapest, but we will be the least expensive. What that means is that when we refinish a floor or stairs it will last for a long time. So when you figure your cost per year, we will be the least expensive. I know there are companies that will do your project for $600-800 dollars but, They only last for a few years. I am sorry that I will not be working with you. Thanks MIke He is wrong. My family room which is high traffic still looks amazing. The other quotes came in from $975 to 1200. All A plus companies from Angie's list. I would not use this guy. His advertisement is misleading. I am not going to hire him, and will use another company, because he mislead me from the beginning and I can only imagine what else would have happened.

Description of Work: The project was to install hardwood floors on second floor of my house and stairs that lead to the second floor. Price quoted was within range of several other estimates. What set this company apart was they provided a very detailed quote (4 pages) with several options to choose from as far as finish, equipment available, etc. I am very happy with the result, the quality of work is outstanding.

Description of Work: WOW installed hardwoods in 2 rooms to match the rest of our house. The overall coordination leading up to the project was a a tad painful (lots of back and forth/repetitive conversations/ hard to get on the calendar), but they totally made up for it in the end. They were in and out in 3 days and did a great job. They showed up when they said they would, the crew was professional and curteous, and they worked hard to make our floors beautiful. You can tell that the crew took pride in their work and that speaks volumes. I would recommend WOW to anyone looking to install new hardwoods.

Description of Work: Excellent refinishing of living room, dining room hallway and 2 bedrooms. Installation of new hardwood in entryway. Excellent craftsmanship. Punctual and clean. Did the job when promised and left the area spotless. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again.

Description of Work: Their services were used for a big deal for $125.00 for 100 sq. ft. of Hardwood Floor Sanding & Refinishing.

Description of Work: Estimator came out and was to get us a quote in 1-2 days. He was polite. (That's the best I can say) Two weeks later, we have never heard back from him. He was the only floor person that said he needed to take the edging off the stairs "to do it right" to contain costs. Hint to contractors: If you want to waste your time and mine. Come out 45 minutes late , later at night and never submit a quote.

Description of Work: I wanted an estimate and Mike (owner) went to my condo within a few days of talking with him. Unfortunately, I have a cement floor in my condo and prefer laminate flooring which he was unable to install. His price for wood flooring was out of my small budget. He quoted $4800 for 350 sq ft which would have included removing carpet/tile flooring. My mother has used his services in the past and was pleased. Due to my budget constraints I did not use Wizard of Wood Floors. If I had the money I wouldn't hesitate to use this company.
