SYLVESTER ASSOCIATES

I had contacted four landscapers. Only one other came out to look at the property & none of the others returned my call. Mark Sylvester came out to estimate the job within a few days. He gave me his ideas. We went back & forth fine-tuning the plan, & he delivered a final estimate within a week. His ideas were fresh & he respected my wish to use any existing plantings wherever we could to cut down on the cost. His crew arrived on time & the foreman was excellent! He communicated with me each time he felt there was something I should know about or have input on. They finished the job in 2 days, left the property spotless & looking beautiful. I was extremely pleased & told Mark so. We did have to call him back to take care of a minor problem which he did without question. Although I thought the work was expensive, I believe that it was worth it because of the quality of service provided. I am not sure that another landscaper would have charged any less!

THE DESIGN WORK WAS DONE UP FRONT, FOR FREE, AND MARK SYLVESTER PROVIDED US WITH DETAILED PLANS AND ESTIMATES FOR HOW TO GET EVERYTHING INSTALLED OVER A PERIOD OF TIME. WE WERE IN NEW CONSTRUCTION, SO THERE WAS NO REASONABLE LANDSCAPING TO START, AND THE QUALITY OF THE SOIL WAS POOR. SYLVESTER ASSOCIATES GAVE US GREAT IDEAS, WONDERFUL QUALITY PLANTS, AND GOOD ADVICE REGARDING PLACEMENT AND MAINTENANCE. WE LOST VERY FEW PLANTS OVER THE LAST 4 YEARS, DESPITE SOME VERY DIFFICULT WEATHER AND SOIL CONDITIONS. WE HAVE CONTINUED TO USE THE COMPANY FOR THE MAINTENANCE AND NEW PLANTINGS.
