Steve did a thorough analysis of what the market was like as of the effective date of the appraisal. Unfortunately, the comparable sales did not support our contract price. The sellers were not willing to lower the purchase price, therefore we had to terminate the contract. I feel confident about Steve's job and will work with him in the future.
