Mark did an excellent job. He stoned a 23 foot fireplace (320 square feet), built the hearth and installed the hearthstone and mantel in less than 5 days. This was a very dusty undertaking so I appreciated Mark getting this done so quickly. Thanks Mark!!

He took my call in the late afternoon and came to my house on time in the next early morning to inspect the problem and give the estimation. Then, he scheduled my work two days later on Friday and Saturday. He explained the problems and what he would do to fix them very clearly to me. He complete the work with good quality and reasonable price. We were very satisfied with him and will definitely use mark in the future and recommend him to friends.

Mark removed and re-set our front and rear stoop, in-stalled new flashing, removed and replaced cracked mortar with new color matching tuckpointing around our home, repaired our chimney and removed non-matching mortar that was installed in-correctly by a previous contractor with new matching mortar. I highly re-commend Mark for any type of masonry work needed around the house. We are completely satisfied and will use Mark in the future. A job well done!

Late last November, my wife and I bought our proverbial dream house that we thought needed some work but actually needed quite a bit more. But I'm a handyman by trade (Honey Do Home-Tasking, Inc.) so I've done alot myself. But masonry, NOT. In December, Mark came out and gave us estimates for both jobs that would be done in the spring. Mark started at the end of May with the chimney. We picked out the brick. He bought it and delivered it. He assembled a small scaffold in front of the house. then lugged up, I'm guessing, about 1200 pounds of bricks 50 pounds each time. Removed the old brick and found one of the flues was so bad a lot of it crumbled down on top of the damper in our hidden fireplace. He replaced both flues at cost because he didn't see it at first. Capped it with concrete, then whala (sp)!! In our yard, we have what we thought was a stonebuilt fireplace (not pit). It turned out it was poured concrete made to look like stone. The floor of the fireplace is about 20 inches above the patio. The problem was all four sides of the firebox were open. So the embers from a fire could easily a blown out of the box in onto whatever (or whoever) was around. Mark installed firebrick in both sides and the rear wall. In back of the brick he installed the same style of stone that formed the cap and the base to tie the new work to the original. We're planning on our first fire this weekend. Mark has a great work ethic. Neither wants nor expects help or anything else. Says he wouldn't know what to do with an extra hand. And he did a great job on both projects.. Will and have recommended him to others.
