Overall, the person was professional and courteous. I could not believe that it was costing me that much money for a gasket replacement in the sink of $125.00. The Remainder of the bill was for the outside spigot. Really question their Cost

I noticed water in my basement at 9pm on a weekday. Jason came out immediately and determined that the sewer leading into the house was blocked. The following morning 2 workers excavated and found a tree root blocking the sewer. They fixed the blockage, added a new drain, added a washout, with all necessary permits. They then used a camera and decided to do some more rodding. Excellent service!

We did not use them because I thought their quote was too high. They had the right approach but we did find another company to to the work for us cheaper.

After having bad experiences with plumbers in the past, this was a great experience. We have lived in our house for about 30 years. In that time we make lists of people who we automatically call when there is a need. Intelligent Plumbing Services is now on this list.

Within the last several months we had to use Intelligent Services for various plumbing services and now can say what an excellent "3 Peat"! Each time I called Colleen to set up an appointment and our plumber Neal servicing our home; they provided the same excellent customer service and excellent quality repair. Colleen again confirmed the appointment with us and Neal called our home within 1 hour of arrival. Neal's work was outstanding and actually made a repair that I was not aware of. He left our shower area clean when he was done and even asked if everything was done to my liking. Great job once again Neal and Colleen and Happy New Year!

For the second time in 7 years, our 75 gallon water heater was failing. Water was leaking from the top of the unit and I wanted to have the problem fixed right away. The original plumbing company (not Intelligent Plumbing) claimed that the unit was just out of warranty and that they wouldn't have a plumber available for several days. They told me that the replacement would cost $1750 with installation. Frustrated, I turned to Angie's List for help. Intelligent Plumbing agreed to send someone out that afternoon. The owner arrived and reviewed my options. Despite my concerns with installing a 3rd Bradford unit, I agreed to install another one. Intelligent Plumbing believes that the last unit may have been installed incorrectly. (Overtightened connections.) Intelligent Plumbing markets their Bradford water heaters as belonging to them for 6 years, or as a bumper-to-bumper warranty. If anything goes wrong during that time, Intelligent Plumbing will be responsible for it. Since I booked the appointment as an Angie's List member, I received a 10% discount on the $2,149.90 price. Intelligent Plumbing cost more than the original company, but I had greater peace of mind. Intelligent Plumbing installed the unit as promised and everything is working fine.

This is my second service call with them and I scheduled the service call with Colleen. She is great! I asked for Neal and he came to our home during the time window as promised and called our home 1/2 hour before his arrival. After his thorough diagnosis, he explained what would take place and what needed to be done. He completed the work and now we have a great flowing tub drain and our kids will no longer stand in water as they shower. Also repaired our overflow gasket. This is a great plumbing company and I highly recommend them. Thanks Neal and Colleen!

Matt is personable and professional. We felt confident that he would do a good job from the first moment we met him. The faucet was repaired in a short time and we have not had any leaks since. Received a nice thank you card a week later!

It was a great experience. Colleen was very nice on the phone. I called in the morning and Matt was here by 1 that afternoon. He repaired the pipe promptly and the price was great. Matt was very professional and knew what to do right away. He was courteous and offered to cover his shoes when coming into my home. Overall a great experience and will recommend and use them again

Excellent service. We have already recommended them to three different friends. Everyone we interacted with from Intelligent was friendly, helpful and extremely professional. We are gutting and redoing our master bathroom. We needed a plumber to replace the shower valve and raise the sink plumbing. Matt A took care of things promptly and with a great attitude and personality It's always a little tricky to know prices, but I thought the price was more than fair. I felt very comfortable having Matt in my home. My husband especially appreciated how Matt explained things and clearly wanted to do a great job for us. We still need to finish our bathroom remodel before we can use the plumbing but everything looks beautiful. We definitely will use them for any plumbing need we have in the future.

Service rep came in to determine what was required for the kitchen sink. Left to pick up the new faucet, promptly returned and performed all of the work quite quickly. I am not sure about the build year of the condo.

The replacement of the garbage disposal was quick and easy. But in retrospect I think 608 dollars is excessive to replace a basic, easily accessible garbage disposal unit. The workman made it sound like that was the only option and a base price, but my online research suggests otherwise--that it should have been 300-400 dollars. So I feel a bit like I was taken advantage of.

Excellent - Neil showed us video of where the problem was, and gave several options regarding potential solutions - including hydrojet, new toilet, and finally, replacing the pipes under the bathroom floor. We chose the most efficient option - more flushing, one ply paper, and nothing else - Neil thinks our pipes will handle this, and that anything else would have been more solution than we needed. I really appreciate the fact that I was not oversold on something that either we didn't need or may not have solved the problem. I will absolutely call them again for all my plumbing requirements at home.

I highly recommend Intelligent Plumbing Services and give them a A++++ rating. Colleen was great with scheduling and would always call me back to confirm the days / times the plumber was to arrive to our home. When Neal the plumber he came to our home to give us an estimate, I could tell he is highly trained / experienced technician and treated our home as if it was his own. He was clean, courteous and upmost professional. He discussed in detail how much time it would take to get the jobs done and the cost up front. When Neal came back to our home the following week, he arrived promptly, performed all the worked professionally, cleaned the areas of the home that he worked in and answered all my questions to my completed satisfaction. I will use Intelligent Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs and will recommend Neal, Colleen and the entire company to my family, friends and neighbors. Great job everyone! Jason was able to get our sump pump up and running before the rain that was scheduled for the weekend arrived. He also fixed our master bathroom toilet, making it much easier! For the other toilet in the spare bedroom, he needed to order a part; he did order the part and his office called to schedule that repair as well. I will never use another service for plumbing! Kerr Mechanical provides trustworthy, knowledgeable, clean technicians for their service. Their techs take the time to get to know me, my home, and my situation. They explain the situation in a way I understand and provide basic repair information and costs, plus let you know how long each item typically lasts and also inform you of any upgrades that may be available. Neal and Jason have both serviced our home and both are enjoyable to have around. I have recommended them multiple times to the mom's group at my church and in my neighborhood, and now i recommend them to all of you!

Even though it was a holiday weekend, Neal called us back within an hour of leaving a message with their answering service. He evaluated our situation and recommended that we hold off until Tuesday to save money, if we could manage it. I appreciated his honestly and agreed that we could manage to wait. Matt came out right on time (at the top of the 2 hour window I was given), was courteous, quick, intelligent and thorough. He explained the price up front and gave me a chance to say no. The price didn't change and there were no surprises. It wasn't a bargain, but it was fair. The area Matt worked in was clean as a whistle when he left, and the pump system has worked perfectly since. I especially liked their recommendation of installing a solid state switch - far superior technology to the alternatives. And since this pump services our entire house, we need to know that we can rely on it. All in all, it was a great experience. We'll definitely be calling Intelligent the next time we have a plumbing issue!

My fault for not asking about prices- I trusted Angieslist too much on this one! Everything was great about making the appt, and he showed up right on time, very pleasant. But then he told me the cost to unplug a toilet-- $245. I was shocked. But I let him look at the toilet. I had plunged and used the snake, bore-thing with no success. He had it cleared with his bore in about 5 minutes. He also showed me that the flapper was not working well (which I had forgotten-- it's even possible that the toilet was no longer clogged but I just thought it was because the flapper was not working right-- OK, so I expect to pay a Stupid Fee, but not that much). Then he showed me what was wrong with the other toilet, but that price was also awfully high so I said no thanks. At the end, I said, very calmly, that I was pretty shocked by the price and I regretted not getting a quote and another estimate. He had me talk to his boss, who said "we really want good reviews on Angieslist" and then asked me what I thought was fair to pay. I had seen that plumbers charge $80 per hour, on average. He said $129 was the minimum service call, so we agreed on that.I give him credit for being responsive to my complaint. But I won't use them again in the future due to the cost. ( I had recently paid $185 for an hour and 20 minutes of work by an electrician and his assistant). I will probably call a general handyman for.plumbing issues in the future.

Everything went great! We have a sink again, disposal and dishwasher all working great!

When we realized we were not able to remove old broken washing machine because of damaged valves, we needed a plumber right away. (New washing machine was to be delivered the next morning - YIKES.) Intelligent Plumbing fit us into their schedule that same afternoon that I called. Plumbing Tech was prompt, thorough, courteous.

Matt A. was terrific. He was up-front about pricing and showed me a pricing book. Dressed professionally and did the work smoothly. In general, this place was expensive. If Matt had actually installed our new toilet, it would have cost more than $500 additional. $500!!! Isn't that a little much to install a toilet? I asked him to replace flange, and my husband will install toilet. I have only compliments for Matt's work and disposition. Great job.

Matt was very personable, quick, and efficient, he even checked our broken water line on our fridge which wasn't part of the service call. We would definitely recommend Intelligent Plumbing Services, we were very pleased with Matt!

I was pretty sure that my ejector pit pump went out on me and called Intelligent @ approximately 11:00 AM on a Friday. Colleen, the scheduler, said they were pretty booked up, but she would see what she could do. By 2:30 she was able to get someone out to my house to diagnose the problem- talk about service! Matt gave me a heads-up call to indicate he was on the way and arrived exactly as promised (he even waited around for a few minutes as my wife was running late to meet him). Upon arrival Matt was both professional and courteous- and handled the questions from my 5 year old like a pro. He diagnosed the problem, presented us with our options and let us decide how we preferred to handle. There were no hard sales tactics, hidden fees or other tricks. The price charged was exactly the amount quoted before the work commenced. Will defintely hire Intelligent again as the need arises.

Neal showed up on time and called prior to his arrival.
