+ -1 moreHe came back with a bid that was four times the cost of all the other bids. When he was told that we would not be using his services, he asked to re-quote and came back at a higher amount than the first time. He then proceeded to bill us $3,000 for a BID. He did not specify in his bid that he would be charging for it, nor did we sign any type of contract saying we would pay $3,000 for a bid. He sent multiple bills, even after we replied in a letter that we could not afford his services and went with another company. A year afterwards he sent us a letter through his lawyer saying that we had to pay up within 10 days or he was going to sue us for the $3,000 for services detailed on the invoice. The invoice we received had no services listed because he didn't do anything. We then had to get our lawyer involved and this is still ongoing. This man is a nightmare and no where was he ever promised any money for a bid, nor did we sign anything to that affect. We are very sorry we ever contacted his company in the first place.
Description of Work: The owner came out and gave an estimate of completing two bathrooms and additional plumbing for a community art center. The budget was very tight for the work and that was told to the plumber upon request.
