His overall work was bad and there were a lot of errors and other issues. He didn't paint all of the boards on the part of the car port he repaired. He didn't use weather treated wood around my the outside of my shed, and lied about it being treated. He put the shed door on backwards, although he did end up fixing that. He used 3 different painters, as they got paint all over the floors and furniture - they didn't even take my drapes down before they started painting the ceiling or the hardware that held the drapes - they actually painted the hardware. The owner ended up renting a buffer to take the paint off my floors but didn't finish that completely and removed the finish and didn't redo that either. There are a lot of issues with the painted lines as well. They are not straight. There was a place in the bathroom that was painted flat instead of the high-gloss as it was suppose to be They didn't wash or prime anything before they painted and even left paint on my brick, and on some of the trim and doors. On my kitchen door, the framing was done poorly and there's a gap there now. They left a lot of messes behind when they were done. One door was suppose to be white on one side and stained on the other, but it wasn't stained and it the white paint bled over onto the other side. He also took my house key after I paid him and it took me three days before he brought it back. He spent 3 days building shelves in my driveway for his new truck, using my electricity all that time and leaving behind a nasty mess that he said he was going to power-wash but never did. I am not at all satisfied with the work done here and don't believe it to be finished even though he claims that it's done and isn't willing to fix or finish the remaining issues and parts. He also took leftover material that I paid for without asking. On the last day he was here I gave him a list of things that still needed to be fixed or finished and he started yelling at me about it. Even my neighbor heard it and told me later that he nearly came over. Greg's uncle took him away from here because he was so angry and needed removed from my house. I live alone and am handicapped and I felt bullied into paying him the last payment. I feel like he totally took advantage of me.
Description of Work: Originally the bid was for $4610 as listed on the contract. That contract also stated that any additional work to be done outside of the contract would be included on an additional contract, which didn't happen. He ended up charging me an additional $1600. The contract also stated that he was to be done in 15 days, but it was actually close to 30. He was to paint the the master bedroom walls and ceiling, patch and repair some other areas of the house, install a shower curtain rod, a toilet paper holder, paint the door jams, build some trim and installed and repaired several doors doors, paint the kitchen, install new cabinets and more. He also did some electrical and plumbing work even though he's not licensed for either of these.
