The installation of my new Ecobee 4 was complicated by the unusual HVAC wiring in my condo. The Master Mechanical techs worked hard to find a resolution to the issues. Everyone from the company that I came into contact with were responsive and professional. I am very happy with their work and will use them in the future for any HVAC needs.

The technician came out quickly, diagnosed the problem and fixed in less than 30 minutes. He had the necessary part on his truck.

Great service. I called because my coils had frozen up inside. Tom gave me options without pushing any of them. I elected to have him put freon in. The problem returned a few months later (he warned me it might), and I decided to have them install a new unit. He gave me several options. His prices were competitive. He didn't balk at the tight space the unit had to go in in my attic. Very nice. Very professional. I would recommend Master Mechanical.

Another Chicago freeze. Our usual hvac guy was down with a bad back so I started searching for anyone who could immediately start the furnace. I happened on Master Mechanical because Tom ( the owner) got such rave reviews. He was out within the hour. He got the furnace started and showed me how to do it. Then showed me that the 16 year old furnace needed to be replaced. Have us 3 quotes. We really thought we had a bit more time to think but the next morning the furnace room was filled with a smell and it was obvious what needed to be done. We had talked our options over with Tom the night before. He helped us decide the top of the line was more than we needed. When I called early in the morning to tell him what was going on, he assured us he could install a furnace that day and have the house warm. He kept his promise. The following day Tom came back to make the final adjustments on the installation. We went on to replace the air conditioner and hit water heater. If this recommendation isn’t enough for you, he also provides payments through Wells Fargo. This organization, Tom, Melissa and all the techs are all heart. So happy we found Master Mechanical.

Perfect. We called Tom out because our furnace wouldn’t stay lit. Our usual hvac guy was out with a bad back. This was in the middle of January and a deep freeze. He came out and showed us how to light the furnace and showed us why it wasn’t staying lit. He recommended a new furnace. We were leary. By night we asked for quotes for a new furnace, decided on the model with Tom’s guidance and he installed it the next day. BTW we went with the recommendation which was not the most expensive. A/c and hot water heater not as dramatic but similar process. Both were taken out before it became an emergency. For regular maintenance, it is very easy to schedule an appointment. Melissa is always in the office to help.

Master Mechanical was excellent every step of the way. Tom quoted the right sized equipment for my residence at a competitive price. However, most HVAC installers are competitive; the key reason for selecting Tom was his knowledge, experience and commitment to a quality install. Tom and his crew were punctual and got the job done a few hours ahead of schedule. Highly Recommended.

Excellent, I expected them to arrive or get a call on Monday got a call back that evening and they arrived early Saturday morning and took care of everything got my air conditioner up and running in spite of the compressor and a leak !!

After being told we needed a thousand dollars in repairs to our A/C and receiving an astronomical quote from another company on getting a whole new HVAC system, we called Master Mechanical to get a second opinion/quote. Tom, the owner, came out and told us there was NOTHING wrong with our AC and we did not need a whole new system. He was great and gave us advise on a few things to do to make it work better. We will be calling him going forward for our annual maintenance on our AC and furnace and when the time comes that we actually do need a new system he will be our go to!

Tom came out within 40 minutes of calling on a SUNDAY! He took the time to check out my cooling system and cleaned the outside condenser. No extra charge for a Sunday call. He is our heating and air conditioner guy and he is the best.

Master Mechanical has been servicing our HVAC units for the last three years. Tom is always professional, prompt and respectful. Highly recommend.

Tom, the owner, and another technician showed up at the time scheduled. They covered the stairs with "sheets" to keep the carpet clean and they either took off their shoes or wore "booties" while working inside. They spent the next 3 1/2 hours replacing the coil and condensing unit with the new Trane equipment. Afterwards they did a pretty good job cleaning up any mess inside and outside and they took the old equipment away with them.

Call the shop and spoke to Melissa. Told her that the A/C was blowing warm and she scheduled a service appointment with Tom the owners the next morning. Tom arrived and inspected the coils located inside the furnance, they were iced up. He recommended I turn off the unit and let the coils thaw and see what happens. Tom was back the morning, threw the gauges on the unit and refrigerant was very low. Tom went over my opinions and based on the the A/C unit's age (15) years the XR11 was probably done. The furnace was (33) years old and the coils were very rusted. Tom contacted his Sales Rep Rob who came to the house and showed me options. Got two more estimates and decided on Master Mechanical Heating and Cooling. I called and asked for next day service and got. The guys showed on time, placed throws down and were very careful removing and replacing the units. A few hours after completing the work the house was nice and cool. Rob went over the operations of the units and after making sure I was happy he left.

The technician came out Monday the day after I left a message for MM. He verified that the blower motor was shot and after he checked his truck, he ran to the supplier and came back with the proper motor. It was replaced within about 15 minutes. Very happy with their response time.

He verified the furnace serial number with the manufacturer and found out we were still under warranty. He touched base with me later that night to tell me the new circuit board was ordered, then called 24 hours later to let me know it had come in and to make an appointment to install it. He was right on time, installed the board, and everything worked. We discussed the normal maintenance that needed to be done and I decided to sign a maintenance contract with him. He even discounted the work further with the contract.

It was great. They respond right away. Their price is reasonable and they are very pleasant. If we do have an emergency, they call back and respond right away. We are very happy with them.

They came out the morning after I called. The technician figured out the problem quickly and headed out to pick up the part. He was on his way when he found out the part had to be ordered. He came back a few days later and installed the part. The furnace works perfectly now.

They were one of the good ones, they were awesome. When I needed them, they were great. They are really reasonable. I tried to use them again, but they are too far from my new place. They came within an hour, when my furnace went out at night.

They went through my furnace cleaning and checking sensors.

Very happy with the service received from Master Mechanical. Our AC stopped working and today is going to be in the 90s. I called at 8:15 this am. First appointment is tomorrow morning, but because it's so hot, she said she'd call back if they could get over here today. She called back in 10 minutes and said they could squeeze us in. Tom did the work and he was early, very friendly, and efficient. It's 11:15 am and my AC is working now! (Needed a new capacitor. Note: The unit is 16 yrs old.) Last year we had Four Seasons fix the same unit and charge me a lot of money. At the time, we felt we got robbed and I still think so. I will use Master Mechanical from now on.

Fantastic! Left a message late Sunday evening and my call was returned in 15 min. Fantastic communication setting up the appointment, email reminders, very professional. The Tech was out at right right on time, knowledgeable, even snugged up a loose pipe not related to the job.

I booked online, received an email confirmation and reminder with a picture of the service provider which I found extremely helpful. They showed up right on time and did everything as expected, including an unexpected repair to my humidifier, and were very pleasant. A few days later, my humidifier was leaking and I came home to water in my basement. I was getting ready to put my house on the market so this was not a welcome site and I was in a panicked state. I called Master Mechanical right away and they immediately answered my call and quickly came out to my house. He brought a shop vac to suck up the water and worked on drying my basement & carpet right away. After we got the water cleaned up, we discovered that the problem wasn't the humidifier, it was all of the drainage piping from it that was not glued together and had come apart. He inspected the entire line, glued it all back together and even replaced the humidifier filter. He did all of this for no charge and did a wonderful job calming a lady in distress! This service provider goes ABOVE & BEYOND and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them and will continue to use & recommend them in the future.

After hours call when I had no heat! Arrived very quickly, very professional and very fair price! Would and will use again!
