George is awesome and wonderful. Kept the work areas cleaned up on that day, was on time,completed on time, and worked efficiently.

His name was George Karidas. We got him from Angie's List. It took him around eight hours and he put it up in two different days. He did one part of it one day and then he came back to do the other part. Everything went well. He put in the ceiling fan and it worked. He ended up finding a potential fire hazard in our house and we are happy that he fixed that. He did a good job. We would definitely use him again. My husband was the one who was here when he did all the work. He is sometimes busy. My husband didn't complain about his punctuality. We've used him multiple times.

I have a very tall, open area in my living room that I wanted a pair of ceiling fans installed. George and a helper worked over the course of a week to invisibly run power to the place the fans would be installed . The install was done so well, you'd be hard pressed to know that this wasn't part of original construction. I've used George several times since and have been pleased each time. He's corrected work done by other electricians so things FINALLY work correctly.

After open up the ceiling for a remodeling job, we found an electrical conduit running right through where the new ceiling was supposed to go. We already had a lot of work scheduled and needed the conduit moved quickly. George came out the next day and reran the new conduit and wires to get everything out of the way of the new walls and ceiling. George was extremely helpfuld and professional and I will certainly use him again.

While it took a while to figure out the problem with the lights/outlets, he eventually figured it out. He is totally professional and I feel like I paid a fair price for all I had done. I would have to say, I've found my electrician and would recommend him to friends/neighbors.

Newly installed attic fans were not working. Installer claimed that the electrical connection was faulty. George arrived promptly at scheduled time, determined the problem and corrected it within 15 minutes. Stayed for another hour to examine and advise on other electrical issues (e.g., outdated circuit breakers). George is reliable, personable, efficient & trustworthy. He will be our electrician henceforth!

Work was done in a professional manner with minimal impact during its performance. The work was started on time and completed ahead of schedule. George and his team were a pleasure to work with.

George and his helper arrived at the scheduled time and started evaluating the problem right away. He checked all the potential causes of the problem and narrowed it down to a weak connection and a faulty circuit breaker. All work areas were cleaned up and returned to prior condition. He worked for a bit over two hours and was very professional in explaining what he found and how he was correcting the problem.

George is AWESOME. This is the second time that he has done work in our house. I am grateful that he is able to come to our house & work while we are away. Both George & Paul were wonderful- kept the work areas cleaned up every day, were on time, and completed on schedule & budget. We have several other items for them in the future!!! This is the third time we have used George. He has previously installed a new main panel, new inside lights, hardwired in new doorbells and we have been very satisfied with all aspects of his work. He is very neat and tidy, talks you through exactly what he is going to do, and is punctual with returning phonecalls and keeping appointments. Very forthcoming with advice too. We were very pleased with how he ran the conduit on a very tricky garage wall yesterday. Very good value for money, and we highly recommend trying George!

He felt like he wasn't exactly sure of what he was doing with pool equipment. He suggested finding an electrician who works with pool equipment, or someone who has installed a salt generator before.

We've worked with George several times in the past and once again he did great work. We always hated the dark bedrooms in our home, so we decided to install ceiling lights in two of the bedrooms. After getting the Christmas decorations out of the attic, we decided now would be a good time to install the light fixtures since ceiling access would be easier with the attic empty. We called George and he fit us into his schedule. He and an assistance spent a day on-site installing the conduit and wiring required to install the light fixtures we provided. Everything was installed exactly as we wanted it. George was very thorough in his cleanup and made special care to cover everything in the nursery so our son wouldn't be exposed to drywall dust. We would hire Geoge again anytime we have electrical needs.

Mr. Karidas arrived promptly when I called to get an estimate. He was very helpful and informative and gave good advice on the various items I asked about. On the scheduled day for the work to be done he and his assistant arrived on time, worked efficiently and completed all the work required at the estimated cost that was quoted. They were very professional, helpful and neat. They left no mess to be cleaned up. I would use them again and highly recommend them.

George is a great guy...Returned phone calls promptly, showed up on time, very curtious, and friendly! So professional and barley knew I had work done when they left!

I felt he was reasonably priced. He owns his own business. His first name is George and I really liked him. It's not a great big company where you don't know who you are going to get. I am going to have him back in the Fall to do some other things for me.

George did the job at a time convenient for us and at a reasonable cost.

George and team were great! Due to a last minute flight cancellation that left my husband stranded, he was unavailable to let George & team into our house during the morning of requested service. Since my husband had previously met George during the initial quotation process and liked him, we felt comfortable having George & team let themselves into our house. We appreciated that George & team were okay with this arrangement. Everything went very smoothly and my husband & I were very grateful that the service was performed with a strong level of expertise, that they explained to me exactly what they did & why, that they cleaned up afterwards, and that they even finished a little early. The new panel looks great & we're ready for AC! We will also have them back to add some light fixtures at a later date and are happy to have found a great electrician. Thanks George & team!

I was extremely happy with every part of the job. George got back to me right away after I left a message and came out soon after to look at the box. All of the electricians we called came up with a different solution to our problem of the badly located breaker box but his solution made the most sense and was the most cost effective. He was able to schedule the work soon after. He and his partner were very professional, arrived on time, did a very good job, the box looked nice, and they cleaned and vacuumed everything when done and did a great job of explaining everything to me and letting me know of possible issues we might have with some preexisting wiring and circuits that they noticed which might not be sufficient. I called them out again later to fix one of the problems they noticed, and they did a great job with that work as well, and even found and replaced something that they noticed wasn't grounded as they were working free of charge. I was very happy with their work and will definitely call them again in the future.

George is very honest and does good work for a good price. We did experience a bit of damage to one wall during switch install, but he did warn me about issues with the particular wall before starting. George also recommended some nice products for our particular requirements (in our case, programmable timers that have manual switch override and can support fluorescent lights).

My wife and I purchased an old house where the previous owner (an electrician, I've been told) had dangerously double or triple-tapped most of the circuits in the house. We took several bids on replacing the box and wiring things up safely, and "George the Electrician" had the best bid. (Other companies I talked to seemed like larger organizations, while Karidas is really just George.) George and his assistant were there right on time on the agreed upon day, and performed the work in about the time he estimated. There were two marks against him: he didn't bring any sort of generator or battery powered lights, so when he shut off the power he wanted me to go ask a neighbor if we could draw power from one of their outlets. I had just moved in and didn't know my neighbors yet, so I was a little embarrassed to have to go asking to run a power cord across their lawn. Also, George didn't have a long enough extension cord, so luckily I had a couple for him to use. It just seemed like he was underprepared for what was obviously a necessity (being able to see what he was working on!). Secondly, while trying to get some air in the basement and/or running a power line, they broke a window in the basement. George took the window to get replaced, but the whole thing seemed a little clumsy to me. Anyway, the work went well and worked great. I've had George do a couple minor things for me since then, and his prices are fair and he does good work. Just a couple marks against him for what seemed some absentmindedness on the day of the work.

Great. Called George on Monday. He was able to come out Tuesday. He and his assistant arrived on-time. I walked them though the work areas. George pointed out where the earlier work had been poorly done and provided me with several options. He and his assistance were respectful of our home and cleaned up after they completed each portion of the job. They even moved some furniture to install the sconce. All in all, a terrific experience that exceeded my expectations.

He was on time and he had all the equipment with him. The work was well done and neat. I was pleased the results and the price.

George identified the likely problem and replaced the outlet. He didn't have one to match the existing, so he put in one so that I would have use of the outlet and returned the next week with one that matched. He also tracked down a brass switch to match the one on the wall sconce. He was very patient and accommodating, and I appreciate his attention to detail. He also gave me good advice on having an extra phone line installed.

George Karidas and his helper did professional work in my home. He fixed electrical mistakes made by a handyman and also the previouse homeowner. He found an old, brittle extension cord in my attic. He also found that someone had used an old cloth-covered wire for one connection instead of a standard wire. He is the most honest contractor I have ever met. I asked him if I needed to rewire my home and he said that the electrical is now in good condition and would last another 30 years. I asked him is I needed to upgrade to 200 amps and he said for my usage that it wasn't necessary.
