Description of Work: They did the inspection but it was delayed since the camera they use was broken and the scheduling took sometime. I did not get the pictures for close to a month. Though they did do the work it was the timeliness that bothered me. I also got quote from them and it was higher than another company that also had A ratings.

Description of Work: They leak-tested my house; vented my shower fan out the roof so it would comply with current regulations; added insulation to the attic; sealed all air leaks in the basement;leak-tested the house again; successful enough to qualify for a rebate. Description of Work: Green Attic Insulation came to my home to perform a blower door test and home energy assessment. The blower door test was helpful, but the assessment did not accurately reflect some aspects of my home. For example, it was recommended that I contract a roofer to install roof exhaust vents because I did not have any (I have two). I'm not sure what the assessor was doing while inspecting the attic. | |Other than some of the observations being misaligned with the current state of my home, I feel the $59 assessment was money well spent, and the assessor was very polite and informative when I asked questions. Ultimately, I did not go further than the assessment with the provider due to the estimated cost of recommended improvements.

Description of Work: This firm did an excellent job of thoroughly insulating our attic. There were some steps we were not aware had to be done, such as making a casing around the several canned lights we have in our living room so heat/cold will not escape through those openings. There were at least 4 men on the job. It took about 8 hours to complete, but we are very happy with the results. We are already seeing a savings in our utility bills.

Description of Work: I took advantage of an Angie's List special. The man came to the house and inspected the insulation in the attic. He also gave me good pointers on improving any leaking around doorways, etc. He also suggested an attic fan (small, solar powered) to help with the air in the attic. The assessment was just what I needed to prepare a schedule for my house in 2015. I appreciate the candor and knowledge of their company.
