We purchased the "Big Deal" on Angie's List and then talked to the owner of Green Attic. We received an estimate and then scheduled the service date. The team came on time and put rulers throughout the attic to monitor insulation levels. We can clearly see how much insulation was applied. The team was very professional and laid cloths over the carpet to keep it clean. The process took less time than told which was a bonus.

I used one of the Angie's lest offers given by Green Attic. The cost was
what others were quoting for the same service so there wasn't any cost
savings. Over all the work was good, thy were on time and cleaned up any
mess. I would use them again.

I had called after the the expiration date and they still accepted the offer. They were out on time and did a wonderful job. It was probably one of the hottest weeks of the year and they still came out and finished the job on time.

"Hi Member. Thank you for your review. I would like first to address the price rating you gave us. In the first place the coupon was designed for attic insulation and not floor insulation (I know it was in the attic but with all headache of dense packed blow-in insulation under floor board it usually qualifies as a different job). I granted the coupon without even mentioning anything. I have the copy of the proposal and we agreed to only board removal and insulation (no floor board repair). I know we spoke and you said that you assumed that repair would be included but I wish we could clarify that at the time. Under my guys statement 'we dont do that' they menat they didn't know about it and since I didn't know about it- we have all this misunderstanding. I wish you'd called me right on the spot. The walls that we were able to insulate are a huge, huge plus for you. My customers only wish they were so lucky to get insulation in the walls from the attic and at what price!!! An 750-1000 SF house wall insulation will cost up to $3000-you spent only $600!!! At your house I know it was incomplete but trust me is much much much better then it was before. As far as coming back and blowing insulation to the rest of the walls (under windows) my understanding (from my partner was) you will contact us when you will make openings in the basement to access the rest of the uninsulated space. That never happened. I met you in person and we spoke, so I just wanna say it was a big miscommunication and I learn my lesson. In present we explain each step of work to make sure everybody is happy and fully informed with the scope of work. Member you know that as far the job goes we went above and beyond to insulate everything at higher standarts. I bet your heating/cooling costs went down at least 20%, not mentioning the comfort of your family. I did everything I supposed to do by our contract. I wish you best of luck and thanks again."

Andrei and Deimer did am excellent job. They both had great personalities and were very nice people. It took about 4 hours and I would recommend them to anyone. They were prompt and on time and when they completed the job they showed me everything the work and explained how the insulation will help with energy efficiency. It was cellulose green insullation which is more efficient than what I was using before. They also insullated the inside of the door to my attic which I didn't have before. In additioan, they pull up my floor board and insullated the flooring in the attic as well. I will use them again and there price is unbeatable.

I contacted Andrei by phone after finding Green Attic on Angie's List. He called back right away and came to my house a few days later and gave a quote. We scheduled the work within a few weeks after I decided to use them after seeing several other bids. They removed my old disintegrating fiberglass bat insulation from the roof rafters, and covered my attic floors and filled attic spaces and knee walls with R60 blown cellulose. They were diligent, clean, and responsible. Completed work on time.

We purchased the Angie's List deal on attic insulation upgrading ($500) and then got our attics (main + addition) upgraded to R60. They were wonderful! You'd never know they'd been in the house blowing cellulose, they were so clean and tidy. They were prompt, courteous, explained everything, showed us the before and after of what had been done etc. They took their shoes off at the door, which we appreciated on a wet day. Everything went smoothly; they had to cut a hole in a closet ceiling to access the addition, which they patched to paint-ready condition for us. We can already feel the difference in temperature upstairs, so we know we did the right thing, and it was a very reasonable price with the discount. I also appreciated that they asked us if we could recycle the bags from the truck, which we're happy to do.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, or hire them again for some wall insulation we may upgrade in the future.

The deal was a shame. I bascailly bought a coupon for $150. The way it was presented it sounded like you would get your attic insulated for $500. When he came, he gave me an estiamte where 500 was then deducted (so I really only saved $350). I caould have just found a coupon online and gotten a better deal. That siad, we did it anyway since I felt trapped since I lready invested the $150 and the attic insulation is fine.

Andrei came out at no charge and did a full inspection of the attic. He informed me (and showed me) that the garage attic extended into the house, over the laundry room, which I did not know, and the lack of insulation was contributing to the loss of heat in that part of the house. He quoted a reasonable price, explained exactly how and when they would do the work, arrived on time and performed the work professionally. They insulated and sealed the ceiling access panel in the garage at no extra charge, and left the work area clean. We would use them again without hesitation.

Andrei came out the following day upon request for insulation and went through the entire house to ensure that he was able to blow-in insulation everywhere possible. He was concerned that there was a lack of access over the garage and was willing to cut open the garage ceiling to gain access; however I told him that I was ok with him not doing so. He tried to cut open the storage/crawl space in one closet to assess the size of the area, however because of how it was sealed it was impossible at that time to open. He advised that when they came back out that regardless of how big the area was he would not charge anymore than a minimal amount to insulate. He was very knowledgable, thoro, and professional. We scheduled the work to be done a few days later and they arrived on time, put covers on their shoes, and covered all flooring and a bookcase that was right below the attic. They worked efficiently and upon completion asked for me to look at all work done. Andrei also brought to my attention evidence of mice and recommended I contact my pest control company. As it turns out my pest control company is partly owned by someone who also does insulation work. When asked a series of questions about the insulation from the pest control company, the guy acknowledged that I was getting a very good product; he also advised that the insulation level should be at least 16 inches deep upon completion. The actual amount ended up to be more like 20 inches. When the pest control people saw the insulation they commented on what a good job had been done. I really would have had no idea, so clearly I just had to go based on trust until the pest control people made their positive comments. Green Attic left the house totally clean, and vacuumed. I was very happy with my entire experience and would have no reservations to recommend them to any of my neighbors. I truly appreciate the job that was performed.

Very good work. No flash. Just some young people hacking out a living in this economy. They use recycled newspaper, fire and pest resistant. Eco friendly. Much cheaper than the other bids. Work and professionalism was top notch. They even gave me money to pay for the cars that got dirty during the project! Use 'em.

The results of the extra insulation have really been amazing, especially now that summer is here. The difference in temps from this summer to the previous summer (without insulation) is amazing. I only wish we had had the insulation installed YEARS ago. The Green Insulation guys did a great job. Highly recommended!!

Andrei, is very pleasant and professional. I have a old chicago bungalow(1920's) that had no insulation. Green Attic Insulation provided me with a reasonable quote even before the $750 that they informed and provided to me through Peoples Gas. I had talked to a couple of other companies and Green Attic was the only one that provided me with the instant rebate. (They took care of all the paperwork). They did an excellent job! The work was completed just before the winter season and the results were amazing- almost a 50% reduction in gas usage (note- results may vary from home to home- I have very deep rafters and they were able to get a high R rating). My temperature variation between the first floor and second floor is also much more stable- I can't wait till summer comes to see the improvements in cooling as well. I am very pleased with the workmanship and the results.. I would highly recommend Green Attice Insulation to anyone wishing to improve the energy efficiency of their home and for old construction blown insulation is a nice alternative.
