Description of Work: Green Attic completed an analysis of our insulation and areas where insulation could be improved. Discovered entire section about addition on the home was not insulated, which explained why our master bathroom was so cold this winter. They finished insulating the addition, added a ventilation fan, and some other improvements. We can feel the difference already. They were very professional, cleaned up very nicely, and made sure I understood and saw the work that they did. I can't recommend them enough! They were great. I would definitely call them again.

Description of Work: They have yet to be in touch to schedule the work and estimate for work I need to have done. At the time I purchased they said they were too busy but I have since fallen completely off their radar. At this point I would like a refund and I can go elsewhere. I already have one estimate for work in three areas of my home - roughly 7k, 5k and 8k so they are actually missing out on a job. And referrals as I sell real estate so I'm a little walking Angie's list with my clients.

Description of Work: Look you keep asking me for a review...so here was the problem. I feel the angie offer itself was misleading last year as I assumed that I was getting $500 of insulation for $149 period. I have never ordered insulation before so had no idea of costs but it sounded like a good deal. The company rep came out, looked in my attic and then gave me an estimate which totalled nearly $1,000 to over $1,200! On top of the $149 I had already paid. NOT the $149 expense I was assuming here. I should have tried to get my money back but didn't think I could. I am not saying the company was bad as I don't think they are...they also seemed very professional when I talked to the rep in my home. I just feel the OFFER ITSELF was very misleading. It should have been more clearly spelled out that this was probably going to cost a heck of a lot more than $149. I had no idea of how much insulation was required or what the standard cost normally is. I have a SMALL house though and I did ask my male neighbor who has insulated his attic and he too thought it was a good deal FOR $149. I never received my money back and would still consider using this company in future. But I was really shocked at the pricetag and not able to afford the additional expense at that time and the coupon expired well before I could afford to do so.

Description of Work: promptly came out and gave me an estimate on several different grades of blown-in cellulose attic insulation. I honestly don't remember the R-value he gave me but I think they blew in R-60 and saying that it would settle over time to a slightly lower R-value. They came out, 2 workers, were very fast & clean. They did all the necessary venting & boxing out of electric in the attic. They also let me know how my attic ventolation was in their opinion too(they said it was fine, no need to address it, but said they could install attic fans in the future if we ever need it). The insulation has lowered our heating bills, haven't gone thru summer so I don't know how it will affect our cooling bills yet. Overall, VERY satisfied and if you're looking to boost your attic insulation, go with these guys, very affordable and they know what they're doing.
