English Maids

We have been happy with them. We have used them for two years. They were referred to us by a friend. The regular girl is an "A". When she leaves on vacation, they bring in a substitute, and she's okay. We have been happy with what's done. It's just a matter of what to clean depending on what we do in the home. Sometimes she is 5-10 minutes late, and she will give me a call. One time with the substitute, she was an hour late, but her schedule was different than her normal schedule.

She was very prompt. She did a great job I will be using them on a regular basis.

Very well, the lady was at our home 1/2 an hour earlier that the appointment time. Always had a smile on her face and was willing to work around us. Did an excellent Job

The cleaners that they sent out were supposed to understand English, the last lady they sent out did not understand English. When I was trying to communicate to her it was difficult and the level of her cleaning was not of very high quality as she left some things sticky and did not get behind all objects. They sent multiple cleaners out and they have not been able to meet my standards of cleaning so I have discontinued my service with them.

The woman who cleans my condo always asks me if there is something special I need to have done. She works around me if I am at home. She does an excellent job. When she is finished, she always asks me if it looks good. I have been using this service for years. I have been very pleased with the operation of the company and I will continue to use them.

We have had the same cleaner for about seven years and have never had a reason to complain. She is on time, quiet, does her job well, doesn't spend time on her cellphone and works around us. I hope to keep her forever! English Maids is also professional in their contacts with me.

Isabelle.is wonderful. She is punctual and knows the jobs that have to be done each time she comes. When she finishes with the basic chores, she asks what else needs to be done. The stress in my life has been greatly reduced because ;I no longer have to worry about keep the house clean.

We have had coco clean our home for almost 8 years. She is always on time. She takes her time and scrubs from top to bottom. She does extra nice things like arranging pillows and organizing the front closet. Coco works hard and we are happy when she comes. Our home smells great. It shines. If there is a change in our schedule. Donna works it out so we can get a new appointment. Highly recommend.

They answer their calls promptly.

The kitchen floor did not look as if they had washed it, I think they just swiffered it because I still had dried yogurt and raisins and other food stick to my floor, the missed a huge dust/hair ball on my tile floor in the foyer, the bathroom faucets still had white water residue...long story short the only thing I could tell that they did was the vacuuming because the carpet looked good and I could see the vacuum marks! They dusted 50% of what they said they would dust. I was really disappointed and will not be using them again. Do not recommend them. Not only do they not do all the work they say they will but the work they do complete is not done well, example the kitchen floor and bathroom faucets.

For the price their service overall is good. I would like to see some of the details\corners addressed, but I have yet to find a service that does this on a regular basis. The English is limited with the actual maid, but they are very responsive if you call them.

They do a good job and they are very thorough. They sanitize the bathroom and clean the kitchen very well. If you have specific area that you want them to focus on, they are happy to do that (within the time). They will bring there own cleaning supplies except for the vacuum, but when I requested it, they bring their own. I highly trust them.

I choose English Maids based on their Angie's List reviews. The woman I spoke with on the phone to set-up my cleaning was very professional and receptive to my schedule. Base on my home size, etc. I was told that I would need two women to clean for 2.5 hours. The cleaning ladies arrived right on time, however, they rushed and didn't exactly clean many parts of my home.... vaccummed around not under a lot items, didn't change mop water often (possibly not at all), didn't wipe down my toddler's highchair well, didn't empty my kitchen trash, left a trash bag on my brand new carpet instead of taking it outside. My house looks clean at first glance but corners were cut. I could accept this if they had worked hard for 2.5 hours, however, they were packing up and walking out the door after an hour and 50 minutes. I definitely could have come up with more for them to clean in the 40 more minutes I paid them for. As the ladies left, I commented that they were very fast and tried to initiate a discussion about their rate given the limited about of time they cleaned, however, their English was limited and it felt awkward. I have a call into their main office, to discuss what my expectations should have been and hope to receive a response. My goal is to find a cleaning service that I feel comfortable enough with to provide a key so that they can clean my house when I am not home... I'll keep looking.

The cleaning was really bad. I specifically had cleaning ladies come to my house because my kitchen floor had some spills on it. After the ladies left, I realized that the spills were still on my floor- so I cleaned them up myself, then I went to the bathroom and it looked like they didn't clean the sinks or the counter because there was still grim on the water spout and handles - so I cleaned them too! I also noticed a huge dust ball with hair and everything in the corner of my foyer. I felt like these ladies didn't even clean my house, the only thing noticeable was that the carpets looked vacuumed and the house smelled like cleaning products - though the house wasn't very clean. They missed so much that it was a disappointment, they didn't even put garbage bags back in my trash cans. I was so disappointed with the service. I do not recommend them.

Lady on the phone was very polite and accomodating. Quoted me two ladies for two hours at $74 and gave me a half hour window during which they would arrive that fit my schedule perfectly. The ladies were punctual and brought their own supplies except for vacuum cleaner as pre-arranged. I went to the gym while they worked and rushed home to pay them two hours later only to find them finishing up in the kitchen. They asked for an extra 15 minutes, which was no problem as far as I was concerned. They did not charge extra for the additional time. The service was very good - no complaints. They even dusted between posts on the stairwell. If there is a comment, it is that the company prominantly shows"English Speaking Maids" as part of its service. The ladies that cleaned my house were very nice, but their English was limited. Still, the price was right, the house was very clean, and communication was good enough. I will be calling them again next month.

It is $74 for one person for four hours or two people for two hours. It is a great, great price because I have searched and searched for housecleaners. I found them by luck.

This service is very good. The price is extremely competitive (it was the best price quote we received) and the quality is very good. We have had the same maid come since our second service and she is great. She has sometimes arrived a bit later than the agreed time but that isn't a problem for my schedule. I haven't had a problem contacting them and they call the day prior to the service date to remind us.

I've used English Maids on a monthly basis for many years and have always been so very pleased with the quality of the services provided and the great price. I've recently moved out of the area and will sorely miss Vesalina who has been cleaning for me for the last few years. I understand they serve my new area from a different home office, so as soon as I finish unpacking I'm going to call them and try them out. I have high expectations based on past history. The move-out cleaning done on the old apartment was beyond expectations. Upon inspection I found the apartment to be PERFECT! not a spec of dirt anywhere. Well done Vesalina and English Maids!

Was very pleased with their service. Went above and beyond.

We have been customers for almost 10 years now. Angelica is careful, thorough, professional and attentive to detail. She is a lovely person as well. Donna, the owner, is responsive and always helpful. We couldn't be more pleased.

It went well but for the fact that they arrived 1/2 hour early. Additionally, communication from their corporate office to the people cleaning your house could be better. Instructions provided during the estimate process didn't seem to get down to the people actually cleaning our house.

Tanya comes out regularly, and she is hardworking, pleasant, and very conscientious. She spends several hours getting everything done, and does not like to leave before she is complete. On those rare occasions when Tanya can't come, English Maids sends a replacement, and that person always does good work. Not every nook and cranny is cleaned, but I believe that is more related to the ability to get everything done in the time allotted.

We have been using their services for probably 3 to 4 years now. They like my dog. They are nice people. They are friendly and they do a decent job. They told me that my dog is their favorite dog. I guess their price is good because my wife keeps hiring them. They are going to come out again tomorrow.
