If a consumer calls BTS we respond to all our phone calls even if we don't service the area they are calling from and we don't service Riverdale IL it is out of our area. We also try to refer established and well respectable tree companies that do service areas we do not. We also have a answering service that answers our calls and forwarded the info to us and we have changed companies a few times in the past because we were not getting the right information. We seem to have fixed the problem but it still is an issue at times. We are sorry for your frustration and hope you had all your tree care needs taken care of.

Great work.
Description of Work: I had a flowering crab that needed some serious trimming. They responded immediately and gave me an estimate within 24 hours. The team came out a week later and did the work and cleaned up everything when they were done. Very happy customer here!

Description of Work: I needed a tree removed. I got an estimate and was told I would receive an email proposal. Never received anything from Brown. If they did not want to do the job then they should have emailed me to that .

Description of Work: I called them and asked them to give me a call to set up a date. They just showed up at my house and told me that my trees had spider bites and I could fix it myself, but he seemed more concerned with selling me new trees. I got 4 estimates and he is the only one who gave me a different diagnoses than a tree fungus.

Description of Work: Removed Colorado Blue Spruce, removed and replaced two privets. They had all the appropriate big machinery and an efficient crew. Only one word of caution, they do not advise you when they will be coming, they just show up. If you can tolerate this, you can't do better than Brown Tree Service.

Description of Work: They trimmed our river birch of dead limbs and foliage and disposed of all debris. On site tree trimmers did a great job and contacted us prior to coming out as requested. Office personnel was very helpful and handled all my questions regarding processing of payment and issuing paid statement. Price was the lowest quote we got. Only issue was lack of responsiveness by estimator. He was supposed to contact me within a day or so to schedule a time for a quote. Never contacted us and just showed up several days later unannounced to quote on anticipated services. I was just about ready to sign a contract with another service provider since I hadn't heard back. I had specifically told them I wanted to be there when the estimator came out and was luckily home when he did. Other than issues with estimator, the rest of our experience was great!

Description of Work: They trimmed a giant Sliver Maple tree & installed a cable to help keep the tree from swaying. They did an excellent job with trimming & cleanup. My yard was left cleaner then when they started. Also, Martin the rep that came to give us a quote was very knowledgable & nice.

Description of Work: Although the answering service was very nice, after 5 days of not receiving a return call to schedule someone to trim my tree, I gave up and called another provider. At least they returned my call right away.

Our sincere apologies. The answering service does a great job, however, rarely a call slips through the cracks, which happened with your call. The answering service can only take basic information and cannot give out any information, therefore, they could not inform you that Brown Tree Service does not service Ingelside. The office girls would have contacted you within 24 hours, if they received your message. Once again, our sincere apologies.

Description of Work: Removed a large mulberry tree and trimmed a maple. They also added two support cables to the maple. The job went as planned. Considering that they had to temporarily remove power cables to do the work, it went very smoothly.

I AM DELIGHTED WITH THIS COMPANY. IT TOOK THEM A COUPLE OF DAYS TO PROVIDE AN ESTIMATE, BUT THEY WERE READY TO SCHEDULE THE WORK MORE PROMPTLY THAN OTHER COMPANIES. WHEN BAD WEATHER PREVENTED THEM FROM WORKING ON THE SCHEDULED DAY, THEY CALLED AND RESCHEDULED FOR THE NEXT DAY AND SHOWED UP EARLY THAT MORNING TO BEGIN WORK. THE TREE NOW LOOKS GREAT. THE PRICE QUOTED WAS AMONG THE LOWEST OF SEVERAL ESTIMATES I RECEIVED.
