Naturescape

I used Naturescape for 3 years. The first couple years were ok but then things got pretty bad. The lawn started looking bad with crab grass and weeds. When I called their office they sent out a "specialist" and I was shocked by what the guy admitted to me. He first said that the pre and post emergent dates are dictated to them by the corporate offices in Wisconsin. And by the time they get the OK to do the treatments, it's too late (or too early) for our area. Ok for Wisconsin, not OK for Illinois. He also told me the local branch can't keep people. And when I questioned why my grass between the sidewalk and the street (easement) looked so terrible he told me that if a lawn technician was running late they often just skip those areas. I changed my service after 3 years and went to another lawn care provider but they were just as bad. For 2016 I rehired Naturscape but nothing has changed. The last guy that was here to retreat my grass was very unprofessional. I showed him several weeds all through my grass and his only reply was "This is my first time at your property". No apology or anything. They do have a revolving door when it comes to employees. I don't think I've ever seen the same person two times in a row. This will be my last year with this company. Within a day or two of this review going live, I received a call from their corporate offices in Wisconsin inquiring If I was happy with my service. Coincidence? I told them I was incredibly unhappy with my service. They said no problem. We’ll get the regional manager to contact you. A month later, I have not received a call from any regional manager. To me it’s obvious that even the corporate folks really don’t care about their customers. If they did, they would have followed up with me in a week or two and not wait until I called them back a month later. Since that second call, the regional manager did come to my property. After introducing himself and taking a quick look at the yard, his very first words to me were “Well I can certainly see why you are not happy with our service”. He offered to have a technician come out and take a crack at the weeds again which occurred the following week. Now I just have tons of dead spots where the weeds have been killed off. Yard still looks terrible. They are supposed to come out later this year and give me a free aeration and over seeding to try and get the yard looking better. I’m very skeptical it will recover this year.

Ordered aeration and seeding late Fall 2015. The result was not showing up until this Spring 2016. Very hard to see if any difference was made by this service to my lawn. My neighbor was using another contractor for seeding. It is really greener other side! Their lawn is nice green and thick while mine has almost nothing changed. Will go to my neighbor's contractor next year for sure.

We get a deal where we do it five times a year in the summer to the early fall. They do a pretty good job. The pricing is pretty good. It's $230 for six months, for five or six treatments.

I get the yearly thing so I pay $200. I have 5 treatments with that. I have been using them for 10 years now. They are great! Every time I need them, they are right on the spot, and they call. I like them.

They came when they said and did what exactly they said they would.
