I talked with Marc who was very professional he listened to what I what'd to do and explained my options and what I could expect. After his crew removed the old shingles they found an original board roof from the 50's he showed me the problems and explained my options. The finished work is what I wanted it looks great and should last for a very long time.

We were doing a total tear-off and guessed that some of the decking would need replaced. When they got down to the original roof, they found 80+ year old wood shake and no decking. Williams Roofing scrambled to obtain the additional permit from the village and had additional materials on site ASAP to make sure the new roof was on before dark came (and snow started). And the 50 year transferrable warranty is a great comfort.

Working with Marc has been great. I trusted other reviews on Home Advisor, and scheduled the appointment. Marc came out the next day and gave me the quote for the roof and gutters. The price was great. He explained all the details of how the job would be completed and what I should expect from him and his crew. On the day of the job the crew showed up just after 7 AM. They put tarps all around the house and completed the tear off quickly. Marc arrived and we went on the roof to discuss the condition of the plywood and the venting. After the prep work the inspector came out to approve that part of the job. Marc’s crew went to work. They were very efficient. They completed the job and had everything cleaned up by about 2:30. No garbage was left behind anywhere in my yard. I was very impressed. A few days later the gutter crew came out. We discussed some changes I wanted to make and the crew went to work. Once again they were efficient and professional. The gutters look great and the changes I asked for were perfectly done. I truly appreciate Marc and his crew for the work they completed, their efficiency, attention to detail, all for a very good price.

This is the third time I have had to purchase a roof for a property, and it was easily the best experience of the three. After requesting a quote online, I was surprised to find a detailed quote package on my doorstep the next morning. To me, that was a good indicator. The estimate seemed fair to me, given what I have paid for roofs in the past. I met with Marc, and he went over in detail all of the options and the next steps. I asked some really basic questions about roofs; he answered everything. He indicated to me that I should be present during the tear-off to inspect the quality of the wood underneath the shingles. On the day of the work, a large crew showed up and started working immediately. There may have been 5-7 guys working on my roof. I'm glad I was home, because I went up on the roof with Marc to examine the wood after the shingles were off ; it looked like Swiss cheese up there. I would not have guessed that there would be so many gaps and cracked boards, as well as boards that didn't even reach the edge of the house. It was a combination of wear and tear and shoddy construction to begin with, in my opinion. Marc presented me with my options, and I decided to board over the roof entirely. This added to the cost, but given lumber required, and the on-roof carpentry it would entail, I again thought the price was fair. I'm glad I took this step; the end product not only looks fantastic but I feel like I have a solid, well-constructed and properly shingled roof that will last throughout the years. It rained heavily that night; I slept easy. They had the roof finished by the time I came home at lunch to check on the progress. There was no debris on the yard; everything was clean. The deck was cleaner than it had been the day before. I always prefer to deal directly with the owner, and I like to work with someone local, so for me, this was the best choice. I would recommend Williams Roofing to anyone.

At the time we hired them we did not know the quality of their work but found them to be excellent at what they do. Professional Staff, Quality Work. Tommy Williams came out to give me a quote. He was very professional and personable. He gave me a fair quote for a roof tear off and answered all of my questions, even the follow up questions I had days later. When I decided to move forward he gave me a complete rundown on what to expect and tips for preparing for the start of the project. The day of the job, his crew showed up on time and were very fast and efficient. Due to weather concerns, I believe they added extra crew and the job was finished same day. The crew was very respectful of my property and of my neighbors. The clean up was thorough and several neighbors commented on what a professional crew they were. I could not be happier with the results. I highly recommend this first class company.

Glad we did our research. Williams roofing is a professionally run, cost competitive business. They're master certified and made short work of our roof (about 5 hours), getting it replaced right before a torrential downpour. We knew exactly what we were paying for and what to expect. Mark was very knowledgeable and down to earth and did not try to sell us anything we didn't need. He was quick to identify and remediate a code violation for a fair price. Several homes on our block have had their roofs redone by other companies and the quality of work just doesn't compare to Williams' crew. Go with these guys.

I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly our roof got done. We had a tear-off, new plywood, and shingles completed in half a day. They came back and finished the gutters in a few hours. Looks amazing with the new GAF Timberline shingles. Spotless clean up. Tommy explained everything and was easy to get a hold of. Excellent value.

Marc was very responsive and courteous. He was the only one of several companies I contacted for Ann estimate that asked to look at the attic to determine if the roof plywood would need to be replaced. Obviously not something you want to find out after a job starts. The crew arrived early and finished the job in one day. Both mine and my neighbor’s yards were protected from debris and cleaned afterwards. I definitely recommend them!
