I worked with Tommy on this job. He was easy to work with and responded very quickly to my texts. His initial quote contained provisions for 'worst case" scenarios, such as the need to replace the roof deck. Given the age of my house, at our initial meeting he was very straightforward in saying that it was very likely the deck would need to be replaced. As it turned out, for the main roof a deck was needed, but on the porch roof there was already a deck that was in good shape, so he adjusted the cost accordingly. I also appreciated that he was able to schedule the job around my busy travel schedule. His crew was able to complete the job in three days and worked in such a way as to never leave any part of the roof open by the end of each day. I was also impressed by how careful the crew was in protecting plants around the house from damage, and the great job they did every night in cleaning up. I only found 1 nail in the yard at the end of the job. In all, I would use Williams roofing again, but I expect I'll be good for the next 30 years!

Tommy was great to work with. The roofing crew did a fabulous job and were friendly and cleaned everything up so the place was immaculate. The crew chief (sorry I forgot his name) went above and beyond to help me out. I will recommend Williams Roofing & Insulation to anybody looking for a quality, cost competitive roof.

I knew my existing shingles failed prematurely, and I suspected the insulation was not adequate. The roofing estimate was in the middle of the five quotes I got thru Home Advisor, and I chose Williams because it also does insulation. Well, the tear-off revealed substantial deterioration of existing plywood, inadequate insulation, plus a generous amount of raccoon droppings in the insulation. Still, the entire installation was finished by 2:30. The increased costs were not unexpected and seem fair. I am very pleased, and look forward to cooler summers, warmer winters, and confidence that my roof will keep me dry for many years.

Marc Williams was a very nice person to do business with He explained my options and followed thru with my needs and I was pleased to do business with him. The job was completed in one day and the men doing the job seemed very efficient and conscientious about their work. The crew on the clean up work were as good as I was expecting and I must add my neighbors who observed the job told me they could find no fault in any of workmanship they saw.. Marc was, as I say, very nice to me and as I am a senior,seniot citizen and was happy to be able to do business with a man and company who did not over sell their job. The clean up was perfect and my property outside looks better than it did before they came. Thanks again to Williams Insulation & Roofing> I would be very willing to recommend them to anyone needing their services.

Very professional. Estimate was cheaper than others I received. Did not try to sell me gutters like other companies did. Instead explained what needed to be done to gutters to solve a small problem. The roof looks great, the team was amazingly fast and did quality work. Completely cleaned up after the work. Always returned my phone calls promptly.

I made an appointment for an estimate and the very next day, although I was not there, he came and he left the estimate with all the information for me to make a decision. The price was more than fair. The new roof was installed as promised. Great Job!!

We had our roof done in February, a rare occurrence in Chicago. It was a full tear-off with all new decking and then new architectural asphalt shingles installed. The work began at 7am and the were finished with complete cleanup by 3pm. You would never guess they were even there, no additional cleanup on my part was necessary. Williams Roofing was extremely customer-focused throughout the entire experience. I highly recommend.

They tried to stick to the job date but due to the weather weren't able to. However as soon as the weather improved they did our roof in one day. Very reliable and we would recommend to family and friends.

Picking a roofing contractor might have been one of the more difficult decisions.... ever! I hired Williams Roofing after extensive research. GREAT decision! Very fair price.

Honestly i don't even know where to begin, i had a nightmare story with my roof, before i called Williams' roofing i was having problems with insurance,leaky roof,shingles coming off and ect. As a first time homeowner i had no idea what to do. I called William's roofing and right from the first call i knew i was in good hands. Marc and Jenifer were a great help the whole time walking me thru every step of the way. The biggest problem i had was getting the insurance to cover me, and Marc worked diligently until they did so. I am so glad that i called them, i would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs their roof done.

Tommy Williams was promptly here for the estimate--no baloney and no high pressure. Work was done as scheduled and on time. The new roof looks great. So many roofers out there to choose from and we're grateful for Home Adviser's recommendation of Williams Roofing.
