They arrived on time, got all inspections and permits in advance, were very courteous and professional and cleaned up beautifully when done.

I like them and I have always had a good experience with them. However, the last time when I used them for the sewer work a different crew came out from the one that I normally see. The guy routed the main thing in spite of me telling him that he had to route the auxiliary, which he finally did and it worked fine. They do excellent work and once when there was a flood in Chicago they got me ahead in the line since I am a repeat customer of theirs.

He did this very quickly and then waited to make sure it worked. I called Welter Plumbing in the AM and their service man came out the same day!

They came in. They gave me slightly higher than another bid, but they brought four guys in and got the whole job done in one day. They did excellent work, and I was happy with how quickly they got it resolved. They did a little bit more work than the lowest bid, and he was willing to go either way but recommended that I do it and said he would stand by any work they did at all. I ended up replacing almost all the pipes in the whole house. They only took out two tiles so they caused very little damage, even though the insurance would have covered more. They even did a few extra pieces of work, helping make my toilets work better and saving me lots of money at the same time.

On Friday morning, 18 January, we noticed water leakage under our water heater (the water heater was almost 13 years old). We immediately called Welter (we used Welter when we lived in Morton Grove) and they said they would be here in the afternoon. They arrived about 1:30-2:00 and installed a new water heater and hauled the old one away. They were prompt, efficient, and professional. We would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to friends and relatives.

Upon returning from a recent vacation this weekend, we discovered our kitchen sink drain was clogged. After trying the usual chemical products and plunging the drain without success for one day, we called Welter Plumbing Inc. on Sunday night, leaving them a message. We received a phone call from them early this Monday morning. They arrived within three hours of our phone call in a truck equipped with all the plumbing equipment required. It took them only 15 minutes to clear the drain using a high-powered auger for the very reasonable price of $145. There's a reason our family has been using the services of Welter Plumbing Inc. for over 30 years. They are highly reliable, prompt, courteous, and always leave the work area clean before they leave. They answer all questions you may have. Moreover, in all the years we have used their services, not once have they tried to sell us any services or plumbing parts that were unnecessary. What more could anyone ask for in a plumbing contractor?

Excellent. They came out saw where it was leaking and fixed the line in about 25 minutes.

Called for an estimate, which was given over the phone. An appointment was made for a few days after the estimate. Their work/labor took a little over 1 and 1/2 hours. They were good at their work and answered all of my questions.They cleaned up after completion of their work.

No problems at all. The team was prompt, completed the work within the day, and left the work areas clean. All for 30% less than the next quote.

I called Welter and they were able to schedule the work on a day I was already scheduled to be off from work. The two plumbers showed up right on time, were done in just about an hour, cleaned up after themselves and fixed everything as needed. It couldn't have been easier!

Everything went perefectly. The crew arrived on time and they were able to coordinate with building management to get the water turned off for cartridge replacement. All the faucets and the shower fixture work just as desired. The crew cleaned up after themselves and there was absolutely no mess. e will recommend Welter to our neighbors and if we are ever in need of additinal plumbing work, they will be our provider.

We had water leaking inside a wall. The guys did a great job of trouble shooting. They found the leak (A nasty mess inside the wall, cut out a giant old section of pipe and strange bend.) The best part is they have a well stocked truck and although they needed a special part and equipment, their Shop was only 20 minutes away. They know what they are doing and fixed things very well.
