This was 16 years ago. Without the aid of an architect (our choice) John Valakas envisioned a very livable unit and built it. Everything works: plumbing, electrical, Internet. The unit looks great (greatly aided by wife's decorating). John got cross-ways with my wife, and he was unable to explain to me some cost items in a way that I could understand them. Thus, we had a break-up, which I regret to this day. i would not let our personality clash deter someone else from using John Valakas; he does terrific work. I would use him again; my wife probably wouldn't.
Description of Work: Built out unfinished space in a 90-year old building into a two bedroom dwelling.
