iTemp Heating and Air Conditioning

This review is a little past due. I have called Jimmy out to service our furnace and AC a few times already and he also replaced the inducer motor for my furnace. I appreciate his professionalism and ease in scheduling appointments. Thank you!

When my wife and I bought our house, we needed to replace the entire HVAC system (the previous system was too big for the house...who'd have thought?). I can't write enough superlatives about how great Jimmy and Tom are. They are incredibly responsive to calls, very knowledgeable about HVAC and the products, quick, efficient, respectful of our home, and they made an otherwise daunting and overwhelming project painless and simple. We closed on the house in January, and they were on-site installing the new furnace within a week. I asked about the AC, and he said that it was too cold for installation at that time, so he would mark his calendar to get back in touch to install the AC and all components in the spring. True to his word, I never had to follow up. He got back in touch in April and asked when he could come out to finish the job. Even during the prolonged cold snap in December 2017, our furnace started acting up, and he was responding to my emails almost instantaneously. Just this morning, he offered to come to my house to adjust the air pressure in the fan to see if we could get more air flow to certain parts of the house. I emailed him about this just yesterday.

I hired Jimmy at iTemp HVAC to fix our air conditioner last Spring when it stopped working, he was able to come that day and fix the problem quickly and efficiently. I then called them this Fall to do a routine maintenance check on our furnace as we knew it was an old model when we purchased the home last year. Turns out it was time to replace the furnace. Jimmy and Tommy walked us through the whole process and were so easy to work with. They are extremely friendly, straightforward about explaining the technical issues and not pushy at all. I highly recommend hiring them for your HVAC needs!

The compressor on my AC unit refused to kick in this summer. I had two of the large HVAC companies take a look at it and neither was able to get it started. They also left me quotes on a replacement unit. Knowing that I needed a new unit, I decided to give iTemp a call to get a third quote. Jimmy came out and instead of trying to sell me a new install, he tried to fix my current unit instead. Though he was unable to, it showed me that he cared about the customer instead of sales. In the end, he left a quote that was well below the quotes I received from the other two large companies. Though he didn't try to upsell me (actually discouraged it) I decided to upgrade to a larger unit and that quote was still well below my other quotes. Jimmy came out exactly when he promised and installed the unit in about 4 hours. It works like a charm. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Jimmy is awesome! He came in to take a look at a botched job and he went above and beyond. I would recommend Jimmy in a second to anyone.

They were phenomenal. They were always on time or early. They were right from the beginning and they were just excellent. The only company that I ever dealt with actually showed up when they said they were going to show up.

Even though it was the middle of the night, he was very friendly and empathetic to my situation and didn't seem inconvenienced. Luckily it was a simple fix, and he had the part on his truck. My condo was cool again within the hour. It was a little more than I expected with regard to price. My friend said they were reasonable, but it was the middle of the night, so maybe that's why the price seemed high. Either way, I'm very happy with the service I received, and I plan on using them again if I ever have this sort of trouble in the future. In my experience, not many businesses provide such prompt and professional service.

DO NOT HESITATE USING iTEMP! Absolutely wonderful! I cannot say enough about the service provided. iTemp came highly recommended to me and this was the first time that my expectations were exceeded. Jimmy is wonderful at communicating so there are never any surprise no-shows or surprise costs. In fact after we decided to move into our house before the work was to be completed, he came out late on a Sunday night to make sure that the hot water was connected! Itemp's pricing was far less than I was quoted with some larger companies. The work was impeccable, they cleaned up after themselves, everything is working well and I have a great thermostat that I can control from my ipad. I HIGHLY recommend to anyone who wants to hire well priced, hard working, friendly experts. DO NOT HESITATE, you will not be disappointed!

I am very happy with the service I received from itemp. they were extremely friendly and accommodating. Like I said, they were able to come out on such short notice and fix my problem so quickly! Also my son is 6 and he was very interested in what they were doing and he was asking them tons of questions, they were so sweet to him and they answered all his questions so nicely.As a parent that was very nice and extremely refreshing. Another great thing about itemp is that they wore these bootie things when they came in the house, so to not track dirt in. I found that to be extremely professional and courteous, and in stark contrast to many maintenance people we have hired in the past, including the company that claimed I needed a new hot water tank. This was overall a fantastic experience, I would recommend them to anyone and plan to use them in the future with any problems I might have.
