Hynek always delivers what he promises and delivers a bit more all at a very high quality. From the time of first estimate to actual work took at while but once the work started,, it was finished in a day.. THe coping on the flat roof garage parapet was old and cracked letting in moisture and, I think, mice. The finished new topping was very tight and looks great. Before the new tiles coud be installed, a lot of work went into rebuilding the top row. A separate job was to rebrick a section of a brick arch that receives a lot of dripping water from a gutter.This involved removing and relacing about 300 bricks. Plus, closing up and old coal chute which was a possible source of mischief.. Hyneck employs hard working, talented people. I never saw them take a break.

Working with Hynek was great. All work was done exactly as promised and for less than some of the competitors were charging. -Hynek was very responsive to all of our questions and provided helpful feedback. -Once the job started, the crew was at the site on time each day and cleaned up any loose debris before leaving. -The job schedule was clearly communicated so there were no surprises or confusion. This was a very large project for our association and everyone is thankful that it was completed without any issues. And our new walls looks great!

Job well done. Hynek gave me very reasonable price for the project. From negotiation to the completion of the job was less than a week. He said it was a three hour job and it was done in three hours. Thank you very much Hynek.

We had some tuckpointing done on our chimney and knew the front steps were deteriorating, and the guy quoted $17k. No thanks man, that's ridiculous. After a bad winter with some overflowed gutters dripping onto the steps, freezing, melting and refreezing, the porch needed to be at least patched up. I reached out to Hynek and he gave a quote on just tuckpointing/patching but said we needed a rebuild. The price? Less than half that of the other guy, which just reinforced my initial opinion that the other guy was full of it. We had the work done last week, it only took like 4 days, and everything looks perfect. VERY happy with the professionalism, honesty and quality of work from Hynek and his team.

The repair was completed in a few days and seems to be a great job. He did a very nice job matching bricks for my old house.

Hynek construction arrived on the day and time that was scheduled , removed the damaged chimney and rebuilt it all in the same day. The crew from Hynek construction were on time very professional and the work was high quality, they came back a few days latter and removed the form supporting the custom concrete cap. The crew also removed a large birds nest that was inside my chimney that could have had caused serious harm to my family and myself.

I manage an old apartment building (built in the 1920s) that needs a lot of love. The concrete and limestone along the base of the building had started to crumble, so I sought bids to remove the broken areas and replace with a new mix that fits in with the old color. I found Hynek on Angies List and he was very responsive both by email and over the phone when I contacted for an estimate. He came out promptly to take a look, sending me a proposal within a day. There was a delay from my end as I was seeking other bids, but once I confirmed with Hynek that we would proceed with his proposal, we were able to schedule a time about two weeks in advance. I was out of town on the agreed upon date, but my mom was available to receive Hynek and company. They were courteous and completed the job as described, and the job took only one day. The finished product is fantastic - the new masonry matches the old color, and honestly looks brand-new. I would absolutely recommend Hynek to others, and I plan on calling them back in the future for additional masonry and brick work.

Disappointing. It took three months, and constant email requests, for the work to be done. When it was done the first time, they did not call or advise they were coming, and the work itself was very shoddy; unfinished sections, rough uneven sections, discolorations and a mess for my tenants to clean up. I emailed and called Hynek to complain and to his credit he was honest about what happened. Firstly, he subs out his concrete work; I was not aware of that and would not work with a contractor again that does that. The sub-contractor was unable to secure proper concrete so just went to Home Depot and bought ready-mix and finished the job after dark i.e. in a rush, so couldn't see what was what. Hynek agreed to have them redo the job, but it had to wait until next year after winter. Spring came and the work was done and the quality of the work was good. My issue was with the color of the concrete which did not match even remotely the remaining steps. The other steps are stone, but I did ask for it to be matched as close as possible (the first job, while super shoddy in quality at least was a closer color match). So now I have a dark grey concrete step alongside very light grey stone steps. When I raised this with Hynek i got a very curt response by email.

Job was estimated and contract written. Hynek gave notice as to the day job would be done. Workers were prompt, efficient, and CLEAN. Thank you! I would recommend this company.

The work crew arrived ready to work according to schedule. Removed existing old doors and installed new steel doors we had waiting for them. They only performed the work that was needed and removed additional work from the contract. The crew worked extremely fast and left the area cleaner than when they arrived. Also caulked the inside and outside door jams. Happy with their work!

Hynek and his crew were absolutely great. His pricing was on target and fair. The materials were first rate and his total quote was done in an easy to understandable way. I cant say enough about the crew he had do the work. They were polite, efficient, hardworking and just nice guys. I would hire Hynek and his team for all my brick work needs for their honesty and Great customer service!!

Excellent service and work. No pressure or fear tactics during the estimate process. The workers were polite, courteous, skilled, and timely. The owner was responsive to all questions and concerns. He even installed a new concrete number into our brick without an added charge. Will definitely call them to come back when our home needs more work, and would definitely recommend to others!

We can't say enough great things about Hynek (owner) and his construction company! He worked on two industrial buildings that needed repair and updating. As we walked through together discussing the scope of the work, he made suggestions about the best way to go about it and why. We were impressed with his extensive and thorough knowledge of the business. He is a pleasant young man with confidence in himself and his work. His quote was in line with other estimates and he had a great rating on Angie's list. We chose him because of these things and we weren't disappointed. His work was high quality and everything was done in a very professional manner. He was courteous of our property and very organized. Supplies would be delivered neat and orderly as the jobs required. He kept us informed throughout his progress and as he began each new project. All rubbish and debris was hauled away. All work was completed within the time frame quoted. We were pleased with all aspects of his work and would most definitely recommend and rehire him in the future. A true craftsman.

He was very professional. When my computer would not download the proposal, he sent one in the mail. Two workers completed the above described project. I would use them again. The chimney looks brand-new (on this 60 year old home).

The end product is great. They look different then what I had before, but so much better. Hynek was recommended by my neighbor and his team did as good a job as they did with her home.I would definitely use again!

Hynek responded quickly and professionally to my request for quotation. As I requested they quoted "only what was necessary", as the house will be sold or transferred within ~5 years. In regards to questions or scheduling, they either answered immediately, or at least very quickly, to phone calls and e-mails. Work was expertly done with no disruption to the resident, my 92-year-old Mother-in-law. Noise, dust, clean-up, etc. were never an issue - the neighbors were impressed.

Hynek repaired the brick wall next to the patio that had minor damage from when the old tile was removed. It was a very small job but he took the time to come out and repair the wall. Most other contractors would not have bothered for such a small job.

We were extremely satisfied with every aspect of the work. Hynek came quickly to do an estimate and for once in our many experiences with contractors, the cheapest estimate we received (his) was also superior quality. He was also the quickest to be able to schedule work. The employees that came out to do the work were very friendly and professional, completed the work quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up all debris and removed from the property. They answered all my questions, and were happy to do more repairs when I pointed out additional areas I had not noticed previously. They also did not have a problem doing a part of the demo in our garage where brick work was needed because the garage contractor was not available yet. Overall, they did an outstanding job for a very reasonable price. Couldn't have asked for anything better. I will definitely call Hynek in future to do other work on our house.

I found one small brick area that they had overlooked and he happily came back out to touch it up, without any trouble at all within a day of my phone call

Work done beautifully, area left cleaned up, men polite and worked hard. The owner answered my emails immediately each time I had a question as we set up the job, he came when he said he would, accommodating my schedule. He obviously knows his field, and I had confidence in the advice he gave me on what to do or not to do on my property. I HIGHLY recommend this company, in fact I already gave the name and number, with high praise, to a friend who has some masonry work to do.

Hynek personally responded to our initial email contact, and came out to our house very quickly to listen to our needs and provide advice/guidance. Because it was still in the winter, we waited for a few months before getting back in touch with him. He was able to schedule us in as soon as the weather got warmer. His crew did a nice job, and completed the work much more quickly than we anticipated. I'm particular about certain details, and something about one of the stair treads bothered me. Hynek met me at the house and agreed that it needed to meet my standards. He got his crew out within a day or two and fixed the issue. I was very impressed with the service.

Quick and easy. Scaffolding went up first (awning was protected), we had a few days of rain, but overall the project took about 8 days. Building looks great.

Really great. Hynek answered my first call and was at our house early the next morning. After inspection, outlined reasons for replacement and walked through exactly what needed to be done. Even filled a couple of additional holes in the foundation at no charge. Only a few days later he was there with his crew to begin work. If it had not been for a rain delay, work would have taken less than two days. Cleaned up carefully, including in the two fireplaces inside the house. Only unexpected charge was $30 for a brick vent on the side of the chimney. Brick is close to original; not perfect, but given the age of the previous chimney, it looks great. Best experience yet with a contractor. Very personable to work with. Hope not to need a new chimney for a long time, but if needed, I would contact him immediately.

They gave me good advice regarding the repairs and then did a great job. They even were able to complete the job earlier than promised.

They did a great job, were professional, and quick. We had 3 different masonry contractors provide us proposals. We chose Hynek because he gave us the best price and had great reviews on Angie's List. We are so happy that we went with Hynek. I would definitely use them again.
