 + -1 moreEric arrived exactly on time, had the proper ladder for the job, and replaced the light bulbs and cleaned the fixture. He did a great job, and the fixture is now bright and shiny. Eric was only here for about 20 minutes.
Description of Work: A large light fixture hanging in our stairwell needed to have its light bulbs replaced. It also needed a good cleaning. This was a small job but a bit difficult because a special ladder was needed for use on the stairway. It was also a bit dangerous because the light fixture was quite high up. Because of the awkward placement of the fixture, this was a job that I was not able to do myself.

 + -1 moreWe had been searching for a local handyman we could hire to do basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical and general repair work to our 65-year old home, and we're so glad we found Eric. It's great that he can perform so many kinds of projects so well. He's good about calling and arriving on time. He listens to what our ideas are, then can make suggestions that fit into our time schedule and budget.. His prices are very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of his work. We couldn't recommend anyone more highly.
Description of Work: This is only the most recent service performed by Eric. He built in shelving and did electrical work for our basement renovation. He designed a clever solution for covering some PVC plumbing pipes with wooden shelving he stained to match our cypress paneling. Before that he re-built our basement half-bath with pine car-siding, and both projects have turned out so much better than we could have ever imagined. He also did some outdoor gutter repair work. We're already making plans to call on him again in the future for renovation to our main bathroom, and we have discussed how he can refurbish our kitchen flooring.

Eric installed 2 stair railings and made several adjustments to the electrical service, including replacing outdated outlets and remedying some polarity issues on existing outlets. He provided great service at a reason price. We were very pleased and recommend his services.

 + -1 moreEric and his nephew came out and spent about 4.5 hours removing the old, decrepit insulation on our sweating pipes and replaced it with new stuff. Did a great job, including the large pipes running off the water pump (has reduced the vibration sound coming from them--a big side benefit). Very hard to find a competent person willing to do this kind of work. Would strongly recommend.
Description of Work: Wrapped about 100 ft. of AC piping with polyurethane insulation.

 + -1 moreEric did the following: Rreplaced a motor on a ceilinng fan. Cleaned an area of the basement where construction had been done. Put in a new faceboard below the dishwasher. Set up a new tv. Took two clocks to be repaired at a shop. Worked on the front door closure. And other items.
Description of Work: This is the latest is several times that Eric has worked on projects I needed done. He is dependable, relyable and does excellent work. I heartily recommend him. I have future projects lined up for him to do.
