 + -1 moreWe are very happy with the results. We had this work performed 8 months ago, and it still looks fantastic. There are spots where you can see the nail holes from where the carpeting was nailed down; we were told upfront that he wouldn't be able to remove those spots. (I believe a darker stain would hide those, but we went natural - no stain.) They did a great job repairing the big cable TV wire holes - totally unnoticeable. They damaged our wall (very minor) in one spot and compensated us for the damages, so we were happy with how they handled that. His price was excellent. We found others who were cheaper, but also found companies that charged 2x and 4x as much. We are very pleased with the result and the service we got throughout. Sabin was easy to work with and fairly responsive to our calls, returning them within about a day. When the crew was running late, they called to let us know which we appreciated.
Description of Work: We bought a 1957 split level home that had hardwood floors underneath the carpet. We removed the carpet ourselves and had D&D refinish the hardwood floors. They refinished approximately 900 s.f. including dining room, living room, hallway, 3 bedrooms, closets and stairs. Sanded and coated with a ''Swedish'' finish. They repaired some squeaky floor boards. They also replaced damaged boards with large holes in them (due to previous owner running cable TV wires through the floor). Also refinished wood on six steps. They also provided very nice looking wood registers to replace our big ugly metal registers. The registers were coated to match the floors.
