They took several months... with several phone calls from me wondering what was going on. Each call it was "we need more time". When it was finally done, I thought all was fine, but a few months later... same problem. In between, I took a couple of vintage watches to them to repair. They, again, took forever, and then tried to charge me more than they'd quoted. When I complained he called me a cheap Jew.

I was very fortunate to find this repair shop. I had trouble fiunding anyone who was familiar with Hammond Post Office Clock. They diagnosed the problem, found the part in California and completed the repair in 1 week! Another company last year quoted me 3 months to repair. The cost was very reasonable, actually lower than I thought. I highly recommend this company

He was very accomodating and very flexible.

It's still in process, but underway. The owner seems very knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely interested in the work.

In October 2012 they repaired a key-wind, chiming wall clock for us and in April 2013 they re-glued 6 Queen Anne chairs for us. We were very pleased with each transaction and would use them again.

Just an FYI: the home build year is NOT applicable to this review. I found this place on the web and drove there to ask about restoring a broken decorative plate. The plate was not worth much monetarily, but I liked it. Igor explained everything to me in detail and was polite and professional. He showed me other pieces and plates he was restoring. I ultimately decided I could not afford the restoration, but I really want to recommend this place for pieces and antiques that are worth a lot. It was obvious that Igor and his partner took GREAT care in restoration and would do whatever they could to make the piece look like new. While I don't wish broken pieces on people, I do hope others patronize this place. I know it will be worth it.
