Description of Work: Don Beswick built our new handicapped accessible house on empty farmland and we moved into it in early 2006. From choosing blueprints, making numerous changes and building his service was absolutely fabulous. He had just wonderful subcontractors who were courteous, on time, always picked up and did an incredible professional job. Don returned phone calls and patiently answered our numerous questions in detail. He bent over backward to keep track of costs as we built so there were no surprises at the end. Our house is still as perfect as when he built it. On top of it all he was willing to submit paperwork to the VA to be a VA registered builder so we could use our military earned VA home loan benefits. He also build a large pole barn for us and helped us plan it so we could fit it into our budget. Both buildings have withstood very bad winter storms and very high strait line winds with no damage. Our house is so well insulated with SIP ( foam in between panels walls) that we don't spend much on heating or A/C. Our gas fireplace can heat the whole 2100+ sq ft 2 story house on it's own if need be. He used latest innovations like PEX plumbing. Don has been been building homes and barns for many, many years and the proof is in the product he provides. Even after a few years if we call him and ask anything he responds. I just asked him for a referral to find someone with a trencher so we could install our own yard hydrants and he knew someone. He has lived all his life in our community and volunteers to help our residents. For example he is on the local hospital board. In all his dealings he is very trusted and respected for his knowledge and for what he builds. We are planning on using him again to further remodel our house since I am now in a wheelchair and need a roll in shower and more pocket doors. I would not even consider going to anyone else.
