Alvarados Plumbing Service

Do not use this service! The ball park quoted me HALF is what they actually charge me. The invoice says that I paid $100 per person for two people that while one used a shovel, the other watched. I also had to pay $150 an hour for the plumber who wasn't even on site for more than half of the time he charged me for. They claim the project took 5 hours, yet it was at most a 1 person job and could have been finished in maybe an hour with how lazy they were. They completed the job, it was mediocre at best, but for that price I should have gotten my entire house replumbed. I do not recommend and will NEVER be using their service again. I HIGHLY suggest that you do the same for any of your future plumbing needs.

They showed up on a saturday morning at 6am dug up pipe replaced it filled it in, rain washed away most of what they filled in,as it was raining that day, they cut into my line running to my garage wouldnt even talk about what happened are let me know they hit a line and dug it up just said after I emailed them that it wasnt there problem. They left exposed cable they dug up under my deck with me not knowing if it was live wire or dead wire which now resulted in me having to hire a electrician after paying them a 1000.00 dollars to fix pipe now gonna cost in the 1000s for an electrician to fix.Would highly not reccomend them for any service to anyone are any business.

Called Alvarado Plumbing as soon as loss of running water was discovered. Unfortunately it was on a Saturday morning. Fortunately, I was able to reach them and a technician arrived within an hour. He tested electrical connections and determined that those were good and we needed a new well pump. Technician went back to the shop to get a second technician and their truck with a winch to pull the old pump from the well. Fortunately, they have the pump in stock. They replaced the pump and the old electric line in the well. The work was completed promptly and efficiently.

Due to a leaky foot valve on the bottom of the pipe in our well,the pump was coming on every 67 seconds. This kind of frequency will burn out a pump and run-up the electric bill(ALOT). Instead of pulling the pump assembly out of the well casing,Alvarado Sr. installed a check valve in a section that was accessible from the basement and this valve just holds the pressure up here instead of down in the bottom of the casing.

I was impressed that he took pride in his work, because after he soldered the water pipes, he sprayed over his solder joints with some copper colored paint, to make the solder joint "disappear". He was very neat and professional

They are very responsive and punctual. They are very efficient. I would recommend them. I would use them again.

Began by tearing out old pipes and drains before the new cabinets were installed. Finished job shortly after base cabinets were installed.
