THE HANDYMAN SERVICE

This guy is a scam!!! 2 yrs after he assisted with remodeling our kitchen (countertop install and plumbimg) we are still having leaks!!! Instead of doing the job right, he caulked together plumbing pipes that didn't fit!!! Plus, he glued the undermount sink and didn't let it dry long enough then the counters cracked cuz he still tried to install it broken. Even when we tried calling him originally asking him to come fix things, he wouldn't return our call. He finally sent my husband 50 bucks. 50 BUCKS??!!???

As always, The Handyman Service came through. All went well. Roof looks great.

Les Glover, he is absolutely fabulous. He's a great guy, honest as the day is long. He is just wonderful. He is extremely dependable.

Les Glover does and did everything. He replaced the bathroom medicine cabinet and sink with cabinet. He installed a new steel front door with all wood trim. Les replaced and repaired the siding on the house and garage. He repaired he soffit around the house. Les also painted the entire house and garage once all wood and siding was replaced or repaired. Les took care of many small details on his own, not needing to be told what to do. If something was not to his liking, he worked on it until it was. Les is very conscientious and is extremely reliable, not to mention that he is a very pleasant person to deal with. Even neighbors commented on his work ethic and abilities. The house looks brand new is now for sale.

Les did an excellent job on my kitchen remodeling job. His prices were very reasonable. When I needed him to be flexible around my work schedule he adjusted his arrival time. One day he worked 12 hours to complete one park of the job. There was not anything he could not do that I asked. He worked whatever hours were needed to ensure that the job was completed correctly, even coming on a Sat & Sun one weekend when he returned from vacation. He is a very honest Christian man that I would definitely use again & have given his business card to many of my friends. I appreciated that he bid my the job, not by the hour. I knew the cost of everything before he started each project & I had several!

Excellent job, Les called me with a bid which I thought was fair and accepted. He came out that very afternoon and in three hours the work was done and done right. He will be the first handyman I call when there's something that needs to be taken care of.

Les, the owner of Handyman Services, came out to our home and took very detailed notes before preparing his estimate. He was timely in returning the estimate and in scheduling the work. All work was done well, in a timely manner, and for an affordable price.

The handyman Les was personable and friendly but he erred in following a couple of the directions. Also he was an exceedingly slow worker. I trusted him to do the job right in a timely manner. It certainly didn't 'go down' that way. We both failed to watch the installation DVD. Instead he studied the instruction manual and did what it said (I hope), in such a slow manner that he ran the clock out to four hours. After his departure, over the following two days, I read the instruction manual (to have a better idea of the unit's operation) and also viewed the DVD. There is no way this project should have taken four hours! More like two hours, maybe three, max, if unfamiliar with the brand and product. I sorely regret that I did not 'ride herd' on him and help him and push him along. I should have watched him and the clock like a hawk. Furthermore, I should have told him at the beginning that I am with Angie's list and that I wanted the project done in less than three hours. (Oh, hindsight is 20/20.) I have felt mental and emotional anguish over this experience for 48 hours afterwards. I 'm writing this report for the sake of some kind of closure. This is the first and last time I will use this particular company. I will not recommend him to anyone. UPDATE: He addressed my concerns and issues and reached an amicable resolution. Involved with that was making restiution with regard to what I considered an overcharge by giving me a refund. I have changed the letter grades as a result of our resolution.
