This was a troubleshooting service call. The service person quickly determined what the problem was. But he did much more than address the problem; I wanted to learn what was going on so that we might be able to address the problem ourselves should it occur again. He patiently and effectively showed me what was going on and what to do to fix the problem (the fix didn't require parts, just cleaning out several components of the dishwasher); I wrote almost a whole page of notes from all I learned from him. We actually had a similar problem since then, and using what I had learned from the service person, we were able to address the problem ourselves this time. Although this was not the purpose of the service call, I also had a question about a problem we are having with our stove. At not extra charge, he looked at the stove and answered my question, saving me an additional service call.

I went into the store the first time to gather information on available options & prices. The sales person was factual, giving honest advice on selecting a new electric kitchen stove that would be right for me. A few weeks later I called & ordered the stove per my notes on brand, model & color. It was delivered within a week (could have been sooner but my old stove worked). The installation person was efficient and cleaned up after himself. He took out the old, put in the new, hooked it up, tested it & took the old stove away. The effort to me was minimal!
