We stopped in to find out if they offered a landscape/hardscape design along with installation. It was very difficult to find someone that worked there to begin with. When I did see someone with an apron on, my wife and I approached her, and she noticed us approaching and walked away into the employees only area after making direct eye contact with me. This similar scenario happened on two other instances within 5 minutes with two other employees, (wife or I made direct eye contact, they bolted for the door). Not impressive. Once we did get to speak to someone, we never did get a straight answer about whether or not these services were offered through the company. Either they are or are not. I will not want work done "on the side" because I will not held liable lest an accident happen. Needless to say, we left after cutting the conversation somewhat short. My instinct just told me to leave. I didn't even get to have service performed because they didn't even seem to want the business. If you want to be completely ignored as a new customer, go to Schaefer's. Or just go somewhere else! We did!

SCHAEFER'S CERTAINLY DOES THE STANDARD "ANY OLD FLORIST", FTD SORT OF ORDERS, BUT THEY HAVE BEEN HELPFUL IN DOING SPECIALTY ARRANGEMENTS AT TIMES & THEY ARE PROMPT & COURTEOUS ABOUT EVERY ORDER. THEY WILL FOLLOW UP WHENEVER NECESSARY WITH APPROPRIATE PHONE CALLS IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH DELIVERY. THEY ALSO HAVE A LARGE GARDEN SHOP FOR DO-IT-YOURSELF TYPES & A LARGE GIFT SHOP WITH CANDY & TCHOTCHKES, ETC.
