This is the second time I have used Painting with Pride. The first time was in our previous home about 5 years ago. My wife and I were extremely satisfied the first time. Chris Ortyl is the owner of the company and we called him to estimate the job in the home we just purchased. We also called three other companies to provide estimates since this was a fairly large job. Chris arrived on time and provided an estimate within 24 hours. The estimates ranges were pretty extreme from all four companies. By no means is Painting with Pride the cheapest company (not the most expensive either), but we awarded them the job knowing the quality would be second to none. Chris estimated the job would take approximately five full days to complete. We were under some time pressure, since our movers would be arriving with our furniture three days after the start of the job. Chris was willing to put in some very long days at the start of the job. He then took two days off to accommodate our movers, then returned to complete the job. The entire first day was spent repairing drywall defects and nail holes. It was amazing how detailed Chris and his crew were repairing our walls. There was a lot of drywall dust, but since there was no furniture in the house, we didn't mind. Chris did a very thorough job cleaning up the dust and debris in each room. The quality of the paint job was excellent. Chris and his crew can paint extremely straight lines freehand. Not mostly straight, 100% straight. My wife and I are very demanding when it comes to quality. Painting with Pride passes our quality test with flying colors. The job took two more days than estimated. We were not charged for extra material or labor. I truly enjoyed working with Chris. He's a guy with a great personality that gets it all correct: 1) Good communication skills 2) Extremely punctual 3) Delivers a high quality product 4) Stands behind his work 5) Fun to work with
Description of Work: Repaired surface imperfections (ie, nail holes, corner beads, nail pops, etc) and painted the ceilings and walls in 7 rooms of our house. Ceilings and walls were painted with two coats each, except for a deep red color in one room requiring 3 coats.

Chris came over a week ago to give us prices on the rooms that we wanted done. We were very happy with how friendly he was and we asked when was the earliest he could do the work and how long would it take to do the ceilings on the first floor. The next week they came to the house and started draping off the kitchen and everything that was on the floor. They were very professional and didn't get paint on any of our furniture or cabinets. We will be sure to have them back for the rest of our home. They are awesome!
Description of Work: Ceilings painted in family room, kitchen, hallway, dining room and living room.
